Post by CC »

Hi Lil P - not long now - thought I'd post this up so we can start your countdown too as you've been so great at starting everyone elses. Are you having any more scans now in the last few weeks? (P.S has Smita got a 'waiting for baby' thread? I couldn't see one but I might have been looking in wrong place. If not shall we start one because you two must be as far as the others we've got running?)

Loads of love,
Cherylxxx

Thanks Cheryl

This is so sweet of you.

I had an ante-natal appointment at the hospital today and we saw a lovely guy - where has been hiding, he was just wonderful!!

Anyway he decided he thought we ought to have a peak at Little One as a nice treat - and believe me it was, I couldn't believe the difference between our 26 scan and seeing Little One today at 34.2 weeks. Such a wonderful experience.

We went and had a chat with him after the scan and he said he thought it would be nice for us if we had another scan in 2 weeks - well, you can imagine that DH and I didn't argue!!!

Gosh - am I getting big now!!!

Thank you so much for your beautiful and kind words - you certainly know how to make someone feel good about themselves.

I bet you're getting excited now - it's an amazing journey we go through isn't it and if you are like me each day is bringing an anticipation of excitement as to what Little One will look like.

Are we really this close?

Well done everyone....

Oh Smita

Thank you so much - and the same for you. There's only a couple of weeks between us and I bet you're as excited about it all as I am.

Little One is quite a little mover and shaker - I do love feeling it though, it is so reassuring!!

Take care sweetie.

Hugs

rest up little P... It does you good to look after yourself...you soon won't have time...and anyway you will need all the energy soon enough for labour

Smita...I don't think the Pacifier/Dummy is a Little P thing either...but the smiley was cute.

Loving hugs preggy ladies and bumps

LP,
Hope you're resting lots. Can totally relate to feeling drained, but my weird problem is, that if I nap in the afternoon , it takes me ages to get to sleep at night, so I just pull on.. and then when it gets to 10pm here, I feel fresh  sleep comes only at abt 11.30 and then waken at 9.30.
Boy, am i glad I dont have dh to take care of now cause I would be useless!
You must be having a difficult time as you'd have to see to everything(being in your own house and all)

Rest up sweetie.. not long now.
As an aside, I pmed HM and she's about the same dates as you- she said shes ok, but worried abt her baby's weight as its in the 17th percentile for 34 weeks- I have no clue what it'd be then, but well, just thought I'd keep you posted as you worry abt everyone too..

Smita

I can totally relate to not sleeping at night - it's strange really as I start of shattered, then just lie there getting more and more uncomfortable and hot!!!

I'm so pleased HM is ok - she's been through so much already, fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly for her from now on.

I don't really know anything about the percentiles thing - where you should be at so many weeks, but as long as her doctors are looking after her that's what matters.

As an aside - you and Jen are right - I'm not a dummies/pacifiers kind of girl. I must be so easy to read....

Big hugs to you all.

Best wishes my dear - waiting with baited breath for some fab news from you. I wondered if I could ask a question - DH and I are doing some research into maybe another cycle and I wondered which clinic you went to? They seemed to give you five star treatment. We thought that maybe if we went to a proper specialist clinic rather than just our local health authority they may be able to explore our options more - maybe donor eggs who knows.
I hope you don't mind me asking this on your countdown thread.
Take care and do plenty of relaxing my dear - sending huge hugs and piles of positive thoughts to you across the miles
