period question

im not on any treatment and havent been for a few months now, as now im waiting on the ivf list...............but anyway last month i came on, on day 40 (i even got my hopes up a little then).......but this month again is day 40 which is today, and i still havent came on a period today, so as you can imagine i'm starting to get my hopes up again,.....but the thing is 12 days ago i had a really tiny amount of brown spotting that lasted for 5 days, it was such a tiny amount that there is no way i could even class it as a period, but now for the past 7 days up til today i haven't had a thing.<br>so my question is could this brown spotting be implantation spotting, and could i be pregnant???? thats what i keep wondering to myself anyway.<br>has anyone else ever had this, and wasn't or was pregnant?<br><br>good luck to you all<br>kelly x

Hi Kelly,<br>Not sure if I can help you. If there is any chance that you could be pregnant then do a test. I know it is horrid because all the time you are wondering if you could be pregnant there is a glimmer of hope and when you do the test if it comes up negative that glimmer is gone, but torturing yourself is probably worse. <br>I have had plenty of strange cycles with some brown spotting and never been pregnant. I am waiting for AF which seems to have stayed away for a very long time!! Good Luck , Lou

Hi Kelly<br>Not spoke to you in ages, I had spotting a day before I was due to test and it was brown, and I am now 12wks 4d pg so I would say it could well be implantation. The thing is Kelly inside of putting yourself through this I would have to do a test because as it is your thinking could I be pregnant so I would def test, let me know how it goes.<br>Thinking of you.<br>Love<br>Shell.<br>xx
