Drug Regime

Hi there..... my cycle was abandoned this cycle due to the fact I only produced 1 follicle. The hospitial have called me back today and said the I can start straightaway when my period arrives if my FSH levels are within region.... My question is they are going to introduce a different drug alongside with Menopur, the nurse said I would also be using Setrodol (spelling)...... aybody know what this is and how it works, also they will not be using Burserlin, I just hope I can produced more this time. I have booked my first reflexology session for this Tuesday on a weekly basis , any inform would be appreciated.

I know nothing of the Setrodol sorry..
but i did have a cycle cancelled due having no follies...the next time the docs put me on a short cycle( no down regging) and used certotide to stop the follies letting there eggs go too soon. This drug/cycle change got me through ET with 2 fab embies ...Unfortunately they didn't stick...
But hte cycle working should give you some hope...also you could read some of the posts on low fsh/poor responders set up by jane...that will give you more of an idea that it is a quite common thing on 1st ivf cycles

Thanks Jen and Bella for your replies. Jen it must be Certotide, I just hope it works this time!..... best of luck for when you start in May.
