Hi Smita, reading all the posts and couldn't stop replying this. Before we guess girl/boy, i want to find out somethings. some people say, if you have lot of nausea, it's going to be a girl and also, too much of heart burn leads to lot of hair for the baby. If your tummy is like protruding out it's a boy or if it is down then it's a girl. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I had 9 months of nausea and 9 months of heart burn. and its true for me

. So, by 6/17/05 if u are 28, it's a girl, if you became 29 then it's a boy.

Ohhh interesting...I looked this up, and i would have a girl if i conceived this June or next years June.

what do yout think Smita? does it fit ? and little P what do you think?

I have tried that lunar calendar with everyone I know (yes...everyone I know has kids...ha!). And it works! I have a friend finding out the sex of her baby on Wednesday, and by the chart, it will be a boy...so I'll see if it works again.
BTW - if all my dates go to plan, I can't work out when I will actually conceive, which matters b/c I'm at the end of Feb or early March, which means boy or girl! So confusing

Thanks Smita for your wish. Now I am waiting for some miracle to happen

We are now paying the bills $3000 from our pocket which is making us more painful

. Another pain is my DD always asks about 'when are we going to have a baby?' She says, all her friends got a bro/sis. Whenever we go to temple, she says 'Mommy, I asked god to give us a baby soon.' How can I tell her that god doesn't always listen to everybody. Now I am concentrating on my career. I wasted like 10 years (3 before my DD was born, 7 after my DD was born) in TTC. Now I am losing hope. May be I am blessed with 1 child, who knows? Now I have learned to be happy with what we have.

The very first time I log in to my computer, I check this board everyday. Looks like I am addicted to this board

I am not sure the lunar calendar is going to be true or not, because we are not doing naturally, we are manipulating with ivf!!!!!. May be it will work for those who do naturally.

Smita, it's important to check the month of conceiving, not the month of delivery. You said you conceived on 6/17/05. So, were you 28/29 by that date? What are you going to name your BUMP? My DD's name is Samya. Are we going to see you after the baby is born? you must be busy with the little one. Good Luck.

Yes Reddy, you ARE blessed to have your dd, but that doesnt mean you cant try for a sibling for her or that you should feel guilty about it.
I think having one child may increase the desire for a sibling for him/her(not sure- I'm not there yet)

Why dont u try one cycle in India? it think you shd be able to wrap up one cycle for about half the cost, as it costs approx $1300 for the same good treatment there, but I guess, you'll have to shell out money for airfare which would equalise the money spent..
Not yet named my 'bump' except calling it lil one, and not even looking at names yet.
Want to hold him/her in my hands before it becomes a mad rush for names!

Take care.. I read about you being on metformin- thats for insulin resistance right?I dont have much of a clue about that- all I know is that its prescribed if you have PCOS plus low insulin in your system..
I hope it helps you- but what shd also help is some weight loss(no clue if you need to lose weight sorry-just guessing..)
