Yes, I have the Zita book....However coz me and dh were chatting about it, the first time we have had this chat since last BFN in Nov. It's bought it to the suface, and the book is packed in abox somewhere!!!! Arghh!!!!

Nicki i guess you would have packed it...poor you

if you guess your AF dates it could be like this
for example...
May21st = 21st day of AF cycle (a)

7 days later ( 28th day of cycle ) MAY 28th have AF = start cycle (b)

3 days into cyle (b) you would start stimming ...

28th May + 29th may + 30th may= would be 3days of AF CYCLE and start stimms 31st MAy...

Evening ladies, just thought I'd bring this thread up to the top in Jeni's absence!! In need of some tlc please. Had nicest weekend in a while but still felt miserable for quite a bit. Went out Saturday night for lovely dinner with dh and friends. Friend is 8 months pg and talking about how she can't sleep cos she's uncomfortable and how she's worrying about when to feed the baby, what to put on it etc etc.....I know its all valid but just wish she wouldn't go on - I'd love to be worrying about those things!!!!! Came home and dh looked really sad so then I got sad and it lasted over til Sunday. Then on Sunday got up and had a good cry in the shower then went to visit my gorgeous 21 month old nephew and of course my preg sis in law and brother for Sunday lunch. ARRGGH yet another mum to be. Dh got us lost on the way cos he's USELESS with directions, even though we've been tonnes of times before. Ended up almost having a minor crash and arguing and me crying again not because of that but because I was having a blue day. Arrived at the house minus half my make up and the other half down my cheeks. Had a fab day with the little one but then dh playing Keane on way home and tears no. 3!!

Dh has biopsy in 3 weeks and every time I think of it I feel sick. I know some of you girlies will have experienced the same. I can't bear the thought that dh won't have sperm and then I can't have his child. I can cry every time I think of it. We've only been given 30% odds of finding sperm and I don't know how I'm going to cope if its BFN result.

Also same friend as mentioned above due on 27th Feb, 4 days after dh in same hospital/unit! I've written her a letter tonight explaining I don't think I can visit her in hospital if we get bad news as I don't think I can keep it together in a ward full of happy relatives and new borns. Has anyone else felt the same?? I feel so so selfish and cold hearted but inside my heart is breaking

What a terribly sad time you are having. . Your feelings mirror mine completely as me and my DH had exactly the same scenario and it is really difficult. It is very easy to say but you have to stay positive sweetie - it worked for us, and we still have no diagnosis as to why DH is azoospermic, and it can work for you! Medical science is amazing and when they incubate your DH's cells the sperm will just grow and grow! . If you are anything like me each day will bring different feelings and tomorrow you're going to have a positive one!!! (and tell DH Keane is barred cause as good as they are they can put the saniest woman on the brink!!)

As for baby visiting with your friend you face it when you're good and ready - your feelings are completely natural and your honesty with her will pay.

Jeni - I saw that you'd had a consultant appt - whats your next step?
In answer to your question - DH and I are taking this year to have some fun and will explore other options next year - watch this space.

How are we all? I am on an emotional roller coaster ride this week . Can't seem to stay on even keel up one min and down the next - Q. Why do we cry at the most unsaddest and more often totally irrelevant things???? Anyway, today not being one of my better days I thought would catch up and take my mind off things for about 4 hours while I do this post.....

Lots of work and have a pretty bad cold so not feeling too good today

My cycle is now on day 33 and no AF in sight! Besides that I think I didn't ovulate so am starting to worry I'll not be able to have tmt in March!
Going to phone clinic tomorrow to know what to do. Hopefully AF will have come by then (don't think so) and all will be back on track

I am back early...we had a half day today and i am just home...( Shhhhhh! don't tell work). The course was exciting at first ( i love meeting new people) but yesrterday we covered issues i have experienced before so i was a bit bore...anyway it was good to get away from the usual routine

MLG--I too am waiting on AF...have had staining for 5 days but no real flow????we cycled the same time (Nov-embie buddie) do you think that has anything to do with it???? the body getting back to it's usual cycle? i guess we just have to sit it out together...and get jigging with it! are you having better weather in Sunny portugal?

Hi Penny-You are so doing the right thing, giving your body, mind and Spirit a wee rest get those sunglasses on and go skiing...we are thinking of going again in May after a couple of weeks in the Alps in April will add robbie to the update...

Jen - great you're back - have missed you!! Thanks for the hugs as needed them big time. In a better mood today but only because its the weekend coming up and I have baby free weekend in sight! Yeah!! Also feel better cos I sorted a couple of things out - I wrote to my pg friend who I saw last weekend and told her I might not make the hospital visit depending on how dh's biopsy result goes. I also wrote a letter to our consultant about whether our centre incubates sperm post retreival, if the quality isn't good (Julie thanks again for the info you gave me, it was really helpful and prompted me to write). I have a feeling my centre don't do it as I'm sure it would have been mentioned. Of course now I'm worried of what to do if they don't find sperm/it doesn't have good mobility and they don't use incubation....... do we go South for another opinion??? I just want to exhaust all avenues before having to go down another route (ie donor). Why is everything so hard??? My head keeps playing it over Anyway now I have to just sit and wait for Consultant plus pg friend to respond.

Julie, oh more hugs and oodles of tlc to you! Its a bummer when even work sucks too. Just think its the weekend and time to chill. Be kind to yourself, that's what I always think works. I think I'm going to have just one wee tonight because I think I deserve it - why don't you do the same? I've had 2 presentations to give at work this week ..... as if I need an excuse!!

Well, got my results, left tube scuppered (of course) right hydrosalpinx but still patent. Then doc said that I could cycle again this month! MENTAL!! Wasn't expecting that. So what do I do? One part of me thinks lets get it on! Another wonders if I'm really ready, physically and emotionally. Apart from having to cancel my skiing holiday, now would be a good time to do it because my exams aren't until April. SHUT UP I'm rambling on. Sorry. Anyhooooseyourfather, need to decide. And quick. Y'know what, I'm going to Go For It. Bonnie and Clyde in the freezer? Say adios to your brethren, you're returning to the mother ship cheeky chicos.

Doc says its normal (specially for me as lately my cycles have been long). Was given some pills to take, as to not risk not being too late for tmt that's scheduled. Will give it another night and take them tomorrow if AF doesn’t come.
It’s grey, wet and cold here today (well, cold for us anyway!). We actually had snow in Lisbon on Sunday, lots of snow that made everything white. The last time was 52 years ago!

I am still having problems with AF, now a week after due date and just having a little show each morning?? for the past 5 days, then nothing anyone else have this before? I am usually a 28 day girl so all this is strange? I am feeling really scunnered ( scottish word translated as majorly pissed off ) by it all...i don't know whether i am coming or going..I had bad dreams last night that i was in menopause and couldn't continue with tmt...i wakened up crying my heart out I feel okay today. I expect it is still hormones from last tmt still kicking around??? i idi have a think and 'Isn't it amazing that I run my live by my monthly cycle and have done for the past 25 years ' Do you lot do the same ??????
I am a tired girl tonight so am having a lazy t.v. night and small glass of wine
