hi sue, by my calculation i get 63% increase - they told me it was 60%, which is clearly wrong. they also told me all these horrible things over the phone, like this could mean an "abnormal embryo", "sluggish growth", "watch me closely", "nothing i can do about it." they have me totally freaked out. and i can't go back until monday so i have to spend the next 3 days terrified that i'm about to have a miscarriage.

i hope so much that you are right and that i'm ok. thanks so much for caring, and writing in. gabriella

Hi All,
Sorry to be away so long. I've not been getting the updated messages from this thread, which normally just pop up on my inbox. ??? Not sure what happened there. I rely on those to check in.
Anyway, so glad to see so many happy faces.
Maybebaby... there are no words for what you must be going through right now. I'm so sorry.

My news is that my EC was bumped to today (feb 2).
We were very blessed to get 8 eggs (at my age that's really nice).
I'll know tomorrow how many fertilize for ET, which is supposed to be Sunday.
In short, I think this pushes my test date to Feb 17. ???
Best wishes to everyone coming up! :D

Congrats to the BFPs :D :D :D :D :D Let's keep 'em coming!!!

gel - please don't worry about the numbers...I know easier said then done..but you are pregnant!!! Just wait your numbers will increase dramatically over the weekend. I read somewhere that the docs were more concerned with numbers going up (which yours did), then doubling. Keep talking to the little one. Everything will be fine.

Randa - 8 eggs!!!! Way to go girl!!!

Carly, Cass, and Cla - All the best today! I am cheering you on!! :D :D :D

I am still waiting for AF!! I am now 1 week late  No sign whatsoever so my test date will obviously change now and probably won't be until March :? . I am calling the clinic Sunday if she hasn't arrived. :? :? :? :?

GregmBarry - congratulations... this is fantastic news. i am so pleased to hear of your BFP. Please keep us updated!!!!
Gabriella - You must be about to have an awful weekend. I am surprised that your nurse was so negative - doesn't sound like a very emphatic person. I hope you get the results you hope for on Monday - I'm sure you will.

Hi gel
I'm sorry to hear you are feeling so concerned. I'm sure everyone is right though, that it will be just fine and you need to keep up the positive thoughts this weekend especially.
I want to say that I know how you feel though. Firstly, the bedside manner of a lot of medical staff is terrible. I've had so many bad experiences and they have made the trauma I've suffered at the time a lot worse. Those nurses shouldnt be giving you worst case scenario just because your numbers were a bit sluggish....it means nothing at this early point. They tell you that stress can negatively affect things and then they leave you in that kind of state.

I've decided to not take what they say seriously at all. They are so often wrong and their propensity to guess is HUGE - and they never acknowledge it.

Try and empower yourself with your own wisdom if you can (easier said than done though!), and hold on tight, your chances are good. You've come this far, you've beaten the odds already.
I will be thinking of you this weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS to gregmbarry on your positive!!!! well done honey and lets keep up the ++'s this month!

Hi -- I'm new to this board as well. Yogibunny, I had my ET yesterday morning and also have a test date of Feb 15. How nice to know someone else is out there doing the same 2ww! This is my first IVF cycle ever and I wanted to say how helpful it has been to read these threads, especially as I try my best to stay in bed. It's definitely tough trying to stay still! I have gone downstairs a few times and stood for a bit while I cooked some lunch and am now worried that I overdid it...! [/quote] Anyway, best of luck to everyone!

Super duper news Randa !!!! Hehe, you clever girl !!! Hope you're in bed getting plenty of rest right now.

Hi SML - Welcome to the boards. Don't worry - a spell in the kitchen won't have done you any harm but try to get some rest. I've heard that 15 Feb is going to be a good day to test ! Angela is already up there, along with myself. A trio of BFPs (big fat positives) !!! If you're stuck with any of the abbreviations the first thread on the general forum lists them all). Add yourself to the list (cut, paste and insert) or just say the word and someone will add you).
