UPDATE!!! The doctor's office just called me- My insurance has approved all and so on day one of AF I have to call the nurse, she will get all my meds ready for me and my calendar and I will start!! Insurance approved two cycles and it expires october 2011 so keep me in your positive thoughts ladies!!

AFM: Well, all 7 embies are doing very well according to the call from the clinic yesterday. We're scheduled for 5dt tomorrow at 11:00. DH and I are excited and are planning on taking it easy tomorrow after the ET. Other than, Easter went well, we spent it with the in-laws and then continued working on the downstairs bathroom that we're remodeling. All of the drywall is up and now its on to the mudding and taping. So glad that I don't have to do it! I do have to say though that its been really nice to have a project to do with all of the hurry up and wait business that's been happening with this cycle.

Lots of sticky vibes and baby dust for everyone.

AFM- Got a call at 1:30. All 12 embryos are still growing and doing well The plan is for ET on Tuesday!

She is officially and finally here and there is no mistaking it! I am counting today as CD1 which means assuming that the SnS comes back good I can fit it in by the time I go to South Carolina. Happy Easter to us! Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate it!

Blaqdymun- yay for another positive! We told you you were preggo...but I know it was worth the $18 to confirm it!

Moorebaby- thanks for asking. I transferred on Cycle Day 15 last time which would put me on May 8th which is a Sunday. My clinic doesn't like to do transfers on Monday because then the lab folks have to be there on Sunday. So I predict it will either be that Sunday or the following Tuesday. The smart money is on the following Tuesday because I measure a little thin typically. So sometime between the 7th and 10th. But hoping for the 8th so I only miss one day of work.

Hi all,

I am 32, Asian, international student studying in the USA. My husband and I are expecting our 1st IVF cycle begins on May 8th. We haven't tried insemination becoz our doctor explained me that the cause might be the scar tissues left from appendix surgery back in 2001. We've been ttc for over 4 years now and finally decided to go for IVF. Since we are international students we currently have no insurance coverage for this procedure and paying everything out of pocket. I am so stressed and worried about the success of having baby from our first IVF cycle. We wanna have a baby sooooooooo bad. I needed someone to share my feelings, and ended up here.
Ps: Excuse my limited English.

Sorry, I don't have time for personals tonight since I just got home from work, and I'm in overdrive...I have a credit union job interview in the am. JenMink I sure could use your help on this. Out of the blue I got a phone call this afternoon asking if I was still interested in working for them. I thought I owe it to myself to at least check it out! This is the bank I am currently banking with and have my retirement plan set up with AND had been wanting to work with since I moved down here 3 yrs ago. Credit unions job opportunities to me are like one in a million, so please wish me luck!

Ironically I also got a phone call this afternoon from my clinic pretty much telling me my husband's insurance is not covering the laproscopic surgery we had done in March! I am like what are you talking about? I had called and spoken to the schedule coordinator down in Pensacola who told me all we would owe would be the $500.00 deductible. I'm now learning my RE is out of network, so this not looking good with the coverage for my surgery, if the insurance doesn't pay I will held accountable right? I mean even though I called the hospital 3 days before to verify and I have the phone number saved, do you think there is anyway I can win this case or could it be that I have to pay over 10 grand out of my own pocket, which I certainly don't have. Just wandering if anyone else out there has faced a dilemma or dealt with insurance companies.

Sunshine1576- I work at a hospital so work closely with insurance companies, your doctors office should have called your insurance company to make sure you would be covered and the insurance company would have told them that your RE was out of network and that you couldn't be covered... HOWEVER most insurances allow you to backdate it for 90 days so the office should call them ASAP and give them all the medical information they need to see if it can be covered. If they don't I suggest you appeal it anyway (it never hurts and sometimes they end up paying!)

AFM - Nothing new to report. Still trying to get used to the fact that I am actually pregnant! Still seems strange saying it! Only just over 2wks to our first scan for heartbeat. I think I might actually believe it when I see and hear the baby (or babies!). I'm already living in leggings seeing as my stomach is swollen and none of my trousers/jeans fit! haha

Well I'll keep dropping in and checking on how you ldies are doing.
