Hello Ladies

So very sorry that I have been MIA for a few days. Some rapid personals from me ahead of Joseph & Grease!!!!

Becky - so sorry that there was no miracle for you hun. But 6-8 weeks. WOW. That is pretty soon. If my work trip to Dubai does not put a spanner in the works then we might get to cycle together. I just started watching The Apprentice as somebody told me I would love it and I do. YOUR FIRED!!! Ha Ha. I think that katie might win. How about you???

Jen1d - Barcelona - middle of May. That is fab. You'll be on your way before you know it hun. And good onyour dr for agree to do some blood tests for free. Given what we all pay that is the least that she could do to help you on your way. Hope that you can get the scans for free too

Ange505 - we all feel that way when it seems so easy for some lucky b****** and so hard for all of us. You can't help it. Hope that the training course was useful and enjoyable for you. I am fine. Thank you. Just been running around like a mad lady

Hey Rachel - can still type! I am totally fine. Thank you. Just been a bit mad busy. You know how it is. Hope that you are doing ok on the diet. You should crack through the 1/2 stone barrier this week. Hope that the hay fever is not too bad

Jackie - good on you for having a blow out. We all need to do that from time to time. Let our hair down. I did it after the last negative. Been off the booze and had a day at Cheltenham race course with some male pals and just went for it. It is perfectly understandable and I'm sure that your dh realsied why you needed to do it. We all seem to add weight with the drugs/tmt. I am looking at my summer clothes and feeling sad that lots of the gear that I cannot wear

Aunty - A ranch. WOW. How cool is that! Hope that all your plans are going along well

Mel - I am so sorry about your step dad, your grandfather and your own health. You really are having a rough time of it right now. Thinking of you & sending big hugs

Mars - sorry I am afraid that I cannot help either. I have never been on bcp. Hopefully someone will be able to let you know how it works. If not then may be call the clinic as they can usually put our minds at rest pretty quickly

Hugs to everyone else.

Thanks to lots of you for the info on fsh levels. Very helpful for me. Sounds like they can spring around all over the place so hope that mine stay low for now. But at least reassuring for now. 9 days since my bloods went to Chicago so another 12 days until those immune results. Still no sign of my notes from old clinic despite ordering copies about 3 weeks ago. Need chasing down no doubt. Next step for me is a mid cycle scan next Thursday at the new clinic. At least having tests each week helps pass the time. Quite concerned that I will be unable to cycle off my next AF (mid May) because of this business trip to Dubai has come up. But I cannot turn it down as good $$$$$ for the treatment fund. Have to go to a company owned by a Sheik and lecture them on Finance as he does not feel that they have good control over their money. How ironic is that? So just figure that I should get all the tests done and then if I have to wait a month then I have to wait and may be cycle off my June AF instead. Just concerned that sods law says by then by levels will be different and will not be able to move ahead!! ARRGGHHH

Oh well it is sunny in London. Going to Stratford tomorrow horse racing. I have arranged a picnic for 12 of us so will get up early to make loads of sandwiches and rolls etc. Should be good fun. 8)

Enjoy the rest of your weekends girls.

Love to you all.
Carolyn

hello everybody.... hope you all are having a wonderful sunday... the weather here in chicago has been awesome ... we're in the 80s and i and my cousin did some strolling in the park...

by the way, thank you for the messages... my RE said the birth control pills is to supress ovulation this month so they could have more next cycle...i was just wondering if anybody of you went through that.... tomorrow im going in for the medications teaching... when to take what etc... and later in the day, the doctor will do a trial transfer .. he feels he needs to do it since i have a bicornuate uterus and he has to know how it's gonna feel like before transferring the real embies.....

not jinxing myself, but how soon can you do another transfer if the first one didnt take? do you have to let a whole cycle pass first???

ok, i know im suppose to get my butt off and let my dog out.... so thanks for all the support.... i will talk to you all tomorrow....

hugs to everyone....

Rachel - sorry that you have been feeling under the weather. Sounds pretty rough for you. A radley bag. I love them. Bought one for my sister at Xmas and my niece. Managed to resist buying one for me. JUST! I think that they are so cute. Hope that weigh-in tomorrow goes well - let us know the news. No luck at the races - only losers for me

Mars - That weather sounds fab. Don;t want to depress you but my consultant has always made me wait for 3 AFs between one lot of treatment and the next Fresh cycle. He says otherwise the drugs are still in your system. Let's hope that you will not to worry about this anyone when the first cycle works for you

Shantala - you sound manic. :? Glad that new job is going well and they have given you lots of responsibility. Don;t be down for long hun. We love your PMA which you always seem to have bags of   Must be AF. Hope that she comes soon. The sooner that she is here then the sooner that she will be gone.......take good care you

Jen1d - jigging for your AF to come soon so you can go to Barcelona in the middle of May

Mel - Thinking of you, your step dad and your grandfather. Hope all is well

Becky - Fancying Mr Sugar ehhhh. Must be the money. Cannot be his face or body. HA HA  I have not watched the series before on BBC2. It was probably when I was in my old job and used to get home frequently at like 10pm. Madness. At least with my new job, I leave most days at a reasonable time

Aunty - any news on the house move or the insurance claim?

Gill - what news from Barcelona for you?

Angel - I have more off days on my diet than on days right now. Think that I need to take my lead from Rachel and start trying harder

Jackie - any news from you hun? Hope all is well

Well I should be working but all the guys (sadly no lookers ladies  ) are out of the office today so I am on my jack jones. More time to surf the boards  Guess that I better do some work otherwise when they are back in they'll ask me what I have been up to and have nothing to report.

Yesterday at the races was fun although was a drain on the tmt fund rather than topping it up!!!! We had a lovely picnic in the car park. About 12 of us which was good fun. Dh and I shall be eating picnic food for the rest of the week. 8)

Back to work. I guess. A day closer to the weekend.

Love to you all.
Carolyn

evening.....

well, I'm absolutely shattered!!! Tis been the weekend for binging !!!

Had a girlie night out on Friday, wedding on Saturday and my friend was running the mathron yesterday so been absolutely none stop. The wedding on Saturday was in london and although we didn't go to the actually wedding as she had a small private registry office one, she did have drinks and nibbles in St Pauls Cathedral in London. Wow, how amazing is that place. We got a private tour and had visits to places that general public weren't allowed. Sometimes you forget what amazing places you have on your own doorstop and never visit.

Yesterday was the big london mathron - boy did I feel tired watching those runners and bless, my heart went out to some of them. My friend finished really well and we saw her running and she made it look like a jog in the park! I did momentarily think, yeah I'll do it, but then again may be not!!!

Unfortunately, lots of booze this weekend so back on the straight and narrow and its an early night for me.

Rachel - how are you and the headaches??? Poor love, but hope the radley bag helped! I love those little bags but never got round to treating myself to one.

Becky - uuummm sunday roast - how was it?? Any news on AF ?? ooohh becky, alan sugar, are you sure hun??! Bad piccies going through me head now yeeek !! LOL

Carolyn - what a gorgeous day you had yesterday for racing. What do you do for work??? Sounds fab having to go to dubai and talk about finances to them - you would think of all people they would know what to do!!

Aunty - yr driver def sounds dodgy! Hope Sam is not joy riding yr car around the states!!

Mars - wish I could help on the BCP questions but the only time I ever took them was stop getting pg when I was younger - if I only we know what we know now!!

Shantala - you busy bee! Oh it def sounds like that time of month - I'm sure the rows will blow over in no time. not long til the holiday though - how many weeks to go??

Jen - i'll start jigging around for you and hope that AF arrives soon - she can be an awkard bugger when she wants to be!!

Angel - how are you hun - its a crap feeling when others around you fall pg at a drop of a hat. I've got a similiar situ with a girl that I work with, got married in oct, came off pill and first month, bam!!

Right a few more threads to read then its an early night for me - love to everyone & sorry to those that i have missed - have a memory of a seive tonight and keep reading posts then forgetting what they said duh!!

love and hugs

good evening ladies... hpe everythings well with you.... by the way, thank you for answering my questions about how soon to start..... i really do appreciate it.... ive been meaning to post sooner than this after i got back from the re clinic but i got busy with preparations for school.... i know, no excuse lol

anyway, we did the trial transfer this morning... they have to insert a bunch of things in me to try which one would work best.... i dont mind them inserting it, it's the speculum i cant deal with.... it hurts like crazy, like i just wanna get up and pee from the pressure... of course my RE is a darling, he is so concerned about how uncomfortable i am... and he apologize a million times today hehehehe

about the medication teaching... i am officially off of the birth control pills today... i will go back on friday for baseline u/s and will start my follistim on saturday which will last about 10-12days [yeah, get ready to be a pincushion now] then later they will tell me what to do next... i was so overwhelmed with so much medication that i will not try to learn it in advance... for now, i will focus on the follistim... hehehehe

so there you go, its starting to sound real ... i hope i get knocked off the first time ... keeping everything crossed....

hugs to everybody xoxo

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your reassurances. Rachel, how do you manage to stay on the diet???? :? :? :?

Well, I'm down with the flu now (just what I needed when I decided to be more regular at the gym  ). Now I've got more of an excuse to flop down in front of the telly in a huge shapeless sweatshirt and have some hot chocolate.

Max, I know how uncomfortable it is with people sticking things into you,n but hon, just picture a chubby smiling baby (Positive thinking).

Carolyn, so good to hear from you again. My insurance plan won't cover much of the cost of the lap as its a day surgery. If there was an overnight stay involved, then I would have got most of it covered. But never mind, got the letter finally and its scheduled end of May, so no point pushing things for a few weeks. Hope you're not feeling too anemic?

Rach, hope you're feeling better now. Good on you getting the bag......I so feel like going for some retail therapy this weekend.

Shantala, hope your AF has arrived and making things better with DH. Glad the job's going well though.

Must dash back to work and see if I can take the afternoon off. I've finished two packs of tissues, feeling feverish and me head is spinning!!!

TC and love to ya all.
