Hi girls

well I survived the "masochists trip" to the UK (nephew 11 months sister 39 naturally 29 weeks pg with nr 2)....bit my tongue so much it bled sometimes but I refuse to let all this and my sis well meaning but sometimes plain b***dy ignorant comments come in the way of me forming a strong bond with my nephew :roll: :roll: :roll:

so the corker this time was:
"of course you have to have two and have a proper family, people who just have one are selfish, we think we'll try for a third although we don't want to push our luck...what's the matter did I say something wrong?"

She does mean well but really sometimes Grrrrrrr

Oh sorry Kat - just wanted to say why don't you come over to the over 40's thread when you feel ready - you sound like you could do with a bit of a cuddle from us oldies!!!

Why are you waiting for donor eggs? We decided to go to Spain where no waiting list (IM Barcelona), although it's a bit pricey...we had to as DEggs illegal in Germany. if I can be any help or you want to talk about it just ask / or PM me

I would of gone mad if any1 said that to me!!!

One isn't selfish when you are having troubles ttc. One is precious!
TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

About your sister's comment. Too bad your Mom wasn't "selfish" enough to stop w/ only one :lol: (You are the oldest, right?) he he. Okay, that wasn't nice. I'm sure her intentions are good even if she's not the sharpest tool in the toolbox. (oopps did I say that out loud?) :P
At least you and your sis are trying to have a relationship.
My sister and I aren't currently on speaking terms. We go through this periodically. :(

I read you loud and clear Randa - we are trying very hard, and I know she's making a supreme effort. I broke off contact to my family when I was in hospital with the breakdown, so they are all really nice to me now :wink: actually I think I am much nicer too since I "got a life"...

Sisters are just strange creatures all round, really complex relationships and when we are going through all this to boot :roll: :roll: :roll: well not much chance there then!!!

She does say some strange things though..she has become very narrow minded over the years which surprises me as she was always "the biker" and "the hippy" and I was the girly swot, just shows, it's all round the other way now...

Good to hear you are doing so well BigJ......and a health kick to boot! Fantastic. Well, not long to go for you now. How exciting. Do you have a rough idea of when you need to go back or do you just have to wait for a phone call?

Sisters can be a pain can't they. My little brother has four of them the poor bugger! I love my sisters dearly but I am really glad that I live far, far away from them.

Hope your lining is thickening as I type and wishing you continued PMA until the next step!
