Fruit/ Lauren- Yup, Viagra in vagina (VIV! just coined new abbreviation)
I started Viagra, 3 days before ET but I am guessing for every person the number of days will vary. It was not covered by Insurance and is about $20 per tablet at CVS. Took it till my first beta.
This cycle I had progesterone 3 times a day, 1 estrogen and 1 Viagra tabs inserted, boy I was completely packed down there

I was super positive going into it today, but for some reason just became super nervous and worried since they were transferred. Hope I can pick up the mood again real soon!

Lauren - Viagra suppositories are used to thicken up your lining. i have seen lots of instances where women have issue building up their lining so they use the viagra suppositories. Regular viagra doesn't help.

Anton- Cute puppy. He looks very happy. As for FET, the only one I did was on a natural cyle. ET for the 5 day blast was done on 5dpo, I believe they try to mimic nature.

Heather- So sorry for your sad news.

Blissful- Wow rollerskating, now that brings back memories. Glad you had a fun night out.

Lily- Sorry your cycle got cancelled. Have you included any TCM in your care? This cycle we're including eastern traditions. I saw a TCM dr who prescibed a tea for strenthening my Kidney essence before starting the cycle and DH is making me silky chicken soup to have before ER and after ET. IMHO I think the two, eastern and western medicine, can compliment each other.

i hear ya, blady! after i got my bfp, my re wanted me to wait at least 6-8 weeks. after that, i was so tired and sick, we didnt do it until second trimester!

Blaqdymun: There are different opinions with that question depending on the RE. From what I hear, most request that you wait until heartbeat has been heard. As long as you aren't having any bleeding issues ( as I have, unfortunately) my understanding is that you can at that point resume "relations". Yes, non-IVF pregnant woman don't have the same restrictions, but they also don't have to take progesterone/estrogen/ other support to maintain their pregnancies. My feeling is better to be overly cautious and and least wait until heart beat.

I hear ya about it being too long...believe me, I do. But we have too much to lose in my opinion after all we have been through to get that BFP.

My 2 cents.
