 Hi, me again

Shantala - its ok hun, i know what you meant and i wasnt offended in the least, its being realistic and thats fine. You dont have to say sorry
Good luck with your scan, cant wait to hear your news.

Jayne - Thanks for your good luck wishes, i'm grabbing everyone i can get  Am jigging for your af to turn up.

Just been to counselling and it was fine, the woman is more nervous than us  Dh is not doing so well, this is the worst 2ww wait for him out of all the cycles and he is feeling really negative. I keep reminding him what Carolyn keeps telling me---22yr old and young eggs. He is so scared for me if we get a neg. Anyway another day over and no you know what---scared to say it. Just praying this can be our time, we are so tired of disappointment.

((((((big hugs)))))) to Gill who is feeling a bit low at the moment. Hang in there, its not over, you have 3 lovely embies with Mummy

Love to you all

Image I'M SCARED NOW

Hi girls

Feeling a bit scared and nervous now. JUST LOOKING AT THE TICKER MAKES ME PANIC  Dont want to do the test, i'm scared of more disappointment. The pessaries last time stopped me bleeding but i had signs and symptoms of af. This time they are doing the same thing but so far no af signs and i do feel twinges and some shotting pains but not sore--------scared to think it might work as we just get knocked back down to earth with a bigger bump

Will try and keep busy today and will let you guys know as soon as possible tomorrow. Thanks for being such good buds to me

Love Jen x

Hey Jen - Best of luck for your test tomorrow. You're going to be celebrating your BFP soon! I say, do your test and go shopping. Don't hang around waiting for the call.

Shantala, hope your scan goes well tomorrow. How are you feeling?

Carolyn, I understand you're the one to give credit to for making this thread so colourful with all those sparkles!!! Haven't had a chance to try it out, but I'm sure our Co policy would restrict it somehow! Your BigB appt is coming soon. Wooo hooooo!!!!!

Gill, are you back now? Hope you're getting plenty of rest.

Beckster, congrats on your weight loss. Thats great. I'm convinced nothing is going to work for me.

Nicky, welcome to this thread. Yes, the length of the waiting lists is ridiculous. By the time we get our turn, bet the law has changed or they won't have enough funding! It really is quite annoying and frustrating. I read a debate about where a lot of people (who obviously don't know how to spell infertility) are actually petitioning to take IVF off the NHS funding list. They say that its a waste of good money and they don't want their tax money to be used in helping people make babies. Talk about people being selfish. Its like us saying that just because we have a roof over our head, don't use our tax to give people housing benefits! Enough of the rant now...

Jen and Jacki, your time is coming soon. Weeks will fly by and before you know it you'll have your embies snuggling in your tummies.

Sorry, don't mean to miss everyone else, but got to get back to work.

Love

Girls

I am so sorry that I have been MIA. I will do a proper catch up soon with everyone. Just really bored of waiting & being in limbo and so running around like a mad lady to pass the time away.

Just had to say:

Shantala - hope that you had a fab scan and everything is as it should be. Cannot wait to hear your news

Gill - keep up the PMA hun, the three are snuggling in right now

Jen - Cannot wait for tomorrow so we can go mental with sparkles as we celebrate your bfp. Have everything crossed for you tomorrow

Becks - you are doing well with the weight loss. Some weeks are always a little slower than others. You have done really well to lose 1/2 stone so quickly. Keep at it hun

Love to everyone else. Just trying to do too many things at the same time!!!!! More soon - honest

Love
Carolyn

Hi everyone

Jen1d Don't be scared. I know its hard but keep up the pma and keep busy tomorrow while you're waiting for the result. We're all thinking of you

Shantala How did the scan go? looking forward to hearing the news

Gill how are you doing? Take it easy

Becky well done on the weight loss - you're going in the right direction. Some weeks will always be better than others and you need to treat yourself every so often (just not all the time like me lately - blame it on the hormones)

Have to tell you all of my excitement this morning - Yesterday I went for scan and follie was 17mm, bit dissappointed as was expecting to get trigger but they won't trigger under 18mm. So they wanted me to go again today BUT this morning i poas and got a positive LH surge. I couldn't believe it! Pathetic to get so excited I know but in 5 cycles this is the first time I've got a natural positive. So I rang the clinic and I didn't have to go today just booked for iui tomorrow morning!
I'm feeling really positive about this cycle now - its got to be a good sign don't you think?
I've even figured out how to do tickers now (about time really  ) so will add one on tomorrow after iui

Love to everyone else

 Hi me again

Well the nerves are holding-------just

Just had some counselling and she was brilliant, really questioning us about donor eggs, outcome, telling the news, who to tell, talking to the child wow she made us think, was really positive. Although we were talking about Spanish/British law and she was looking at it from the childs point of view. She felt that the child couldnt find out about the mother with Spanish law and wanted us to know how we felt about this------thats the point we went there  but i felt she thinks its maybe better they can know as it helps them in later life. Maybe thats true but i will help the child come to terms with it and defo dont want the child to be able to look for its genetic mother like you can do in Britain :?:

Shantala - Hope everything went well at your scan, pop in and tell all the news.

Su - Brilliant news, i love when we get god news on here. Bring on the bfp

Becky - Are you disappearing down the plug hole yet  Your doing so well.

Angel - Cant do a hpt, dh is at work and if i do it and its negative then it will ruin the day. I'm to scared incase its bad news, which sounds daft as i will get the news on the same day anyway but after 4 negatives the pain of another is to much---do you understand or am i just blethering?

Nicky - Waiting list  Just talking to our counseller about them. Do you know the donor waiting list at our hospital is over 5 years long, its pathetic.

Last but not least -Carolyn, Gill and JenB - Huge hugs to you all for emailing me so often and keeping my spirits and PMA high, its just what i needed in the tough 2ww. Gill, keep positive babe, we are here for you anytime. Jen, hope the headaches are getting better and Carolyn, you have to slow down babe, you will be worn out for your IM appointment and we cant have that

Ok off to chill and pray :?:   :?:

hey all

thanks for wishing me good luck with the scan....we saw one perfect heartbeat and i even have a scan picture! was pretty amazing, so very pleased! i might actually get to sleep now! lol

they have asked me to go back to my doctors though to get signed off another 2 weeks as they said the OHSS is still quite bad and my ovaries are "massive" apparently. even though i only do an office job they're not pleased about me working. so thats what i'm doing....

i have another scan in 2 weeks (20th) for my 8 week scan and my measuring of my ovaries and the fluids.

jen1d - glad i didnt upset you...i was just so worried about you saying you're not sure you would do it again if it didnt work that i tried to give you assurance....anyway, listen, i know of ladies that bleed whilst on the pessaries if its a BFN (and sometimes when its a BFP) so i think the fact you didnt bleed this time is a great sign. i'm sooooo keeping everything crossed for you. i know that feeling of not wanting to test but you wont stop testing once you see that line appear. i'm sure everything is fine and you'll get that well deserved BFP tomorrow. please post asap...cant wait!!

hi to everyone else...sorry, absolutely knackered...the morning sickness kicked in on monday with a vengeance, then i just feel sick all day and what with the OHSS i do still get really tired (i'm not complaining though...i will welcome morning sickness and OHSS if that means a healthy baby). will do a catch up tomorrow though.

love you all

Hi. Can't sleep so I thought I'd check back in on here. Not felt this nervous since my first iui. How long after a natural surge should I ovulate? - got twinges and worrying its too soon. iui booked for 10.30am
Also had a little wobble earlier when I remembered that menopur injections contain LH and thought maybe that caused a false
+ve. But there must have been just as much in my system the last 2days when it was -ve so decided to forget about that.

Shantala, good to hear your scan went well. Sorry you're not feeling so good but as you say it will be worth it. Take it easy.
