Hi girls

Well i went into work and left at 1 instead of 4. Just feel exhausted and cant be bothered with anything-----especially the yp who was giving me abuse most of the morning, wanted to tell her to F@ off

Anyway, got home and ran to the computer to find out if IM had mailed. They did and say there is no reason to investigate further at this stage and we should go ahead with the patches on the 1st day of af then ET can happen in approx 2 weeks

I sent mail back saying i dont want to waste my embies and am unsure about this and feel we need to do tests. Dh is at the Dr just now as he has been so sick for the last couple of days so he will talk to the Dr and see if we can have the procedures done here and £.
I rang my old clinic and they confirmed me there was nothing stopping the embryos and they never did further tests as everything appeared normal.

Checked out the plane fares for the next month and they are through the roof due to October hols etc.

Just dont know what to do? Want a test but everyone says its fine---how do they know as there has never been tests done. Want to do ET but the flights cost a fortune.

Sorry girls but we are just having no luck and i'm so fed up

You must have so much going round in your head,

I'm not surprised you can't be bothered with work. You probably feel under pressure to make a quick decision too. Only you and dh can decide what's best for you - whether to go ahead straight away or give yourselves more time to get over this dissapointment and wait for the flights to come down.
I know I've found it tough doing back-to-back treatments and iui isn't as stressful as ivf sounds.
I hope dh's visit to the doc is helpful and you are happy with whatever you decide.

Hope that everyone else is doing well. I am in a major buzy spell as always find it my way of dealing with stuff. Am too nervous about the appointment so am jamming my days full of work and social stuff as if I think about it too much then it will do my head in.

Jen1- Bloody hell 2 weeks thats quick! They dont hang around, I so wish we had some frosties so we could get another go if this is a bfn. I hope you can make a decision about your tmt that you are happy with it must be hard knowing what to do. Take care hun

Carloyn- I have been trying to forget about it, its just so difficult and I wish I was feeling more positive. Try not to work to hard in work but enjoy all your social events as the dreded 2ww wont be too long away and you'll have to take things easy then

Shantala how is the m/s going hope its not to bad how are you feeling hope the ohss is starting to go now .

Carolyn 1 wk till you go now are you have a few days hols as well or just flying out and flying back hope your not to busy at work glad you are keeping busy

Hi

Well you are all going to die of shock when you hear this one

The developments of the day are

My consultant from old clinic rang and said there is no reason for me to have a hysteroscopy as i've had all the checks done before and all is fine.

My Dr from IM called and said the same, but so we dont have to go back and forward for tests they are going to give me a doppler scan only on the day of ET. This is a 10-15 mins scan to check the endometrial vascularitation (flow) is ok.
She wants me to take some antibiotics just now as if there IS an infection, although there is NOT, but this will make sure all is clear for ET rather than getting there, finding an infection then having to come home with medi then back for ET.
I feel happy with this and Dr Guix said there is no reason the embryos can not implant, its just a case of having to try again---------and i am just so grateful i have embies to try again.

So the patches are on and i will be having my scan on the 17th then ET on the 28th Sep.

The flights are costing a fortune and we will have to find a hotel plus dh is having to lie and take a sicky and i've got a massive headache again with the first patch but apart from that our nerves are still intact---just

Am in work this afternoon and on early tomorrow then have to go visit the Dr for all my medi but will email after that.

Ladies just a quick update from me i have 1 perfect beanie with a great heart beat i'm now so relieved and hopefully can start to enjoy being pregnant my due date is april 14th and i was told that i'm fit and healthy and dont have to go to the hospital expect for scans my midwife can look after me so pleased about that thank you all for being there for me i would have gone in sane by now on my own .

Jen great news that you aregoing straight for your frosties hopefully the headaches wont stay to long .

Will do proper catch up on weekend

thats FAN-TASTIC news that scan went well ...so glad beanie is A okay and you feel good enough after seeing heartbeat to enjoy your pregnancy...

I am so happy for you April 14th makes the little one a Taurus i think...earthy and grounded!!!

Yep i was in am accident with some nutter driving on the wrong side of the road and oth DH and I suffered whiplash...with lots of acu ( double sessions ) i am now feeling better and headaches are totally bearable Motor home is a mess ...but fixable and as he is liable we don't loose the no claims
