Hey ladies

How has everyones week been?? Mine has been very busy (again!!) and ive not been getting home until about 7ish every night. Then we looked at another clinic in London, then we started moving dh’s daughter into her new house, and today dh had his op to have his gall bladder removed. So its been pretty hectic here!! Anyway, they let dh out today and he’s sat next to me in the armchair fast asleep so I thought I would catch up with you lovely ladies!!

God, there’s so much to catch up so apologies if I miss any info!! (do you know what I love about this thread?? It seems like the very beginning of the dec thread again!! Woohooo!!)

Anyway, sorry, here we go…….(get a cuppa….)

Lara – yes, thanks honey, we sorted the argument out! How you doing?? Good on your for treating yourself to that radley hand bag!! And well done you on the half stone!!!

Welshbugger – hheeeeyyy!! How have you been?? Yes, that’s exactly what works like. Busy but enjoyable and it makes the day go soooo quickly!! Oh and I don’t watch the apprentice but there’s nothing wrong with an older man! ;-) so so glad AF showed for you (although at a bloody awkward time!!! Typical!! Now we all know how to bring AF on….plan to wear white trousers!! lol)You said that she was 4 weeks late as you had your last one on the 28th feb….doesnt that make it nearly 8 weeks late?? (or am I having a thick moment??) anyway, hope you have a great weekend!

Carolyn – wrote to you on the may/june thread. So sorry to hear its being delayed!! And thanks for your PMA comment. Glad I come across as having PMA!! Well, the mood has gone and I’m definitely back on with the PMA (and yes, we did kiss and make up ;-)). Sorry to hear about your scan…will keep everything crossed that it’s a follie and not a cyst. And I know what you mean about the test results. Of course, its great news that nothing seriously is wrong but I can completely see why it would have been nice to finally get another piece to the puzzle (if not the last piece!). so I can see why you’re disappointed. But hey, a different clinic might do the trick!!

Aunty – hey hun!! How you been??? Hope everything is still going through on the house ok!! Thinking of you! (oh and thanks for replying on the AF thread, was hoping you might! Is yours sorted now??) oh, just read that you didn’t get your grant….sorry about that but I’m glad you’re positive about it. Could you do it again??

Nimble – sounds like you had a busy weekend last weekend!!! Hope you’ve got a quieter one this week!! Pmsl about the “yes, I can do that marathon…erm, maybe not” thing!! Haha…yeah not long to go now till the holiday. We go on the 8th….so cant wait!!! Have you kept your app on the 4th?? Will be very interested to see what you think of the place. How you generally??

Mars – I know exactly what you mean about the trial transfer thing!! Nothing hurt with mine except the damn speculum!! They’re awful aren’t they!! Apart from that glad it went ok!! Glad your baseline went ok today and good luck for starting stimms tomorrow!!

Angel – hope you’re feeling better!!! AF still hasn’t arrived but at least the mood that comes with it has gone now!! Lol.

Jen1d – sorry to be a pain but whats the big B?? (not sure if I should be excited for you or not!?)….so glad AF showed for you!!! Great!!!

Melissa – congrats on the chair remembering your pie. That’s pretty damn good out of 400!!

Gill – fantastic news about the free scans!! That’s brilliant!!

Sorry if ive missed anyone but hope everyone is well!!! As for me, waiting on AF as I’m figuring the sooner this AF shows the sooner my may AF will show and I can book in with the clinic. (but sort of hoping AF wont show at all, if you know what I mean!! Lol)

 Hi Girls

Carolyn - How you doing babe, hope you are feeling a bit more positive and had fun at the races.

Gill - Hope the trousers are still white  and your wedding was fun. AF will defo come when white is around, might try it myself

Lara - Will be hard on the 9th but we are here for you if you want a chat or a cry.

Shantala - Hope dh is feeling better, you sound like your having a hectic time.

Rachel - How do you feel about the egg share, i thought about it but was concerned the child getting to 18 years old and wanting to find out about the donor, what do you think?

Mars - Good luck with the injections, i was terrified but unfortunately us girls soon get used to it---or have to

Well i was out with the girls last night and drank lots but had a great time. Haven't laughed so much in a long time, felt like the old me again. Feel so tired today, i'm definately getting to old for this lark

Well AF arrived yesterday--------a few spots and nothing since. I am meant to go for blood tests on the 2 or 3 day of AF but am a little unsure what to do, hopefully by Monday i will have a better idea.

Ok off to chill after my boozy night

Love Jen x

Hi Girls

Hope that you are all having a great weekend. Lots going on.

Sorry not been here for a few days as been quite busy with work & out all day yesterday - more of that later. Been thinking of you all! Honest

Jen1d - so glad that AF is showing her ugly face. Even if she takes a day or two to arrive then you should be in really great shape for Barcelona in the middle of May. You are off and running! Glad that you had a big night out and were able to laugh and let your hair down. We so need to do that...... Hope that hangover has now passed. Just can;t do it like we used to  If your gp is taking bloods then maybe she will just do the blood group as an additional check on the same sample and not charge you. Has to be worth asking - right!

Becky - white trourers for a weekend was always bound to bring the witch out!!! Hope that you had a fab time at the weeding yesterday. Did you see the Apprentice last week. I thought that the right person went!! She was so disorganised and the lips pictures really did not do it for me.

Marsha - so sorry that AF is giving you a hard time but at least you are on your way. The injections can seen strange at the start. But you will get the hang of it. In a couple of days time you will be a complete pro!

Shantala - Hope that your dh is recovering well. Thanks hun for posting for me on May/June. I 'retired' from there as all the other ladies seemed to be steaming ahead and was not sure that I fitted. Feel better on this thread given where I am right now. You sound so busy but at least that means that the time passes quickly. Hope that the new job is going well. How are you doing with the clinic visits? Have you decided where you will go for your next tmt yet?

Rachel - I am so sorry that you have this to go through over the coming days upto May 9th. We are here for you. Hugs for you & dh. Hope that Af shows up for you soon. Hope that the weather is going to be nice for the long weekend. It should be fun for you to be down at the caravan

Aunty - hope that all the prep for your move/new house is going along well for you & dh. Check in when you can - miss you

Jackie - hope that you are having another great weekend. The weather yesterday was awesome

Angel - How are you doing? Hope that you are feeling better

Melissa - any more pie making?? They sound so good that I would be even fatter as I would be eating them all the time

Gill - sounds like you'll be off to sunny Barcelona before too long. The sun shine does seem to help my mood too. Easier to be positive about everything

Jen/Gill/Rachel - thanks so much for geeing me up. I had a wobble last week after the clinic visit. It is such a lot of ££££ and with 3 negatives behind me, it is a big step to go again at the new clinic. I was even wondering if I should go back to Hammersmith who know me and where it is much less expensive. Dh and I wrote down a list of all the things that are different with this treatment approach. There was enough there to persuade me that we are doing the right thing. It also made me reaslise how much he wants me to try again. So we are back on track. I am now on the OPK waiting for the surge which will likely be the end of this week. Then I need to get bloods done 4-6 days later to see whether I ovulated. Then await AF. Bloods again on D1/D2 and then see whether they will let me start and whether I can fit it in with my work/travel. No point worry about it now. It is at least 3 weeks away.

Great day at the races yesterday with friends. Even managed to win some money by following Frankie Dettori as he is so cute  Then we went to freinds for supper. They live in the middle of nowhere and I managed to drive through a pot hole and puncture a tyre. Dh was mad but I looked tearful and he kept his cool (just). Had AA out and they helped us put on a spare tyre. Left house at 11pm with about an hour + drive home. We get about 1/4 of way and tyre gives up. AA have to be called again. 1 1/2 hour wait at side of road for them to come. Cannot fix us again. So we have to go on a tow truck. Get home at nearly 3am, with winnings spent on getting us home! ARGGHHH That is before we need to pay for the new tyre. Not the best end to the day but at least we ended up laughing about it. What else can you do.

So I am catching up on Josephs and Grease today from video/dvd!!! And catching up with all of you too.

Hope that you all have a good week.

Take care lovelies.

Carolyn - So glad your feeling better, seems you have talked it through and are back on track, which is great.
I have been the same, wondering if we are doing the best thing as its so expensive and i cant find a bl**dy hotel, they are all sold out, dont know what to do, any ideas??

Well after my 2 spots on Friday night, there is nothing. Thinking the 15th is creeping near and dont know if we will make it. B keep saying its fine as long as they get the paperwork within a day of us visitng but ??????????

I did ask my GP but for some reason she can do all the other blood tests free but not the blood group test, am phoning her tomorrow.

Hi to everyone else, thinking of you all but off to chill after my social weekend, still feel tired----old git
