Renee-12 days is from ET...which is when the embies were fertilized. Most doctors wait until 14 days from ET.

Good morning everyone,

I don't really have much to say, but can't keep myself from writing! I am looking forward to all the BFPs that will be announced tomorrow (including Beta #2 for Renee).

I am now 4dp3dt and I woke up this morning with lower back pain on my left side. I have lower back issues and when they flare up I usually use heat patches and see my chiropractor. I know the heat patches are not advised - but am wondering about my chiro? Does anyone know? Of course I haven't had any trouble with my back in 2 years, and now that I'm in 2ww....it flares up! At least I have tylenol.

sprouthaus-I have no idea about a chiro...I bet a heat patch on your back would be OK though, just not on your tummy. Other than the back how are you feeling?

smatt - I wish I could put a heat patch on my back, but it does say on the package not to use if pregnant - and my RE said to treat myself as if I'm pt unless we know otherwise.

Other than my back, I'm feeling OK. I still have a lot of pain in the area of my left ovary - which is funny because it always seems to be the rt one that gets cysts. Oh well, small price to pay - right?

More importantly, how are YOU feeling? Looking forward to tomorrow? Have you POAS some more?

I am surprised they say that because my STUPID girlfriend went in a tanning bed pregnant because he doc told he you did not stay in there long enough to do any harm...so a heating pad on your back...I would think it is OK...have you called your doc?

I feel OK I guess...just not sleeping without Tylenol PM and a little crampy.
POAS...all the time...lol Yes it is as dark as it can get now!!!

smatti - glad to hear you are feeling ok. Are you having difficulty sleeping because of how you are feeling physically? Or do you think it is because you are anxious for tomorrow?

The heat patches I use are made of capscasin which is the thing in chilis that makes food taste hot. It soaks through the skin and into the muscle. I prefer these to a heating pad sort of patch because they seem to provide more relief. But, you bring up a good point. The regular ones may be OK. I'll look into this if I'm still in pain tomorrow. The tylenol seems to be helping too.

Renee - "2ww is a killer". You can say that again! I am trying not to obsess but it is all I can think about. I have calculated the best case & worst case scenario for when the HcG will be out of my system and I am already planning on POAS. We'll see if I go through with POAS though because I am terrified of a negative....Additionally, I keep pouring over the data from my 3 IUIs and failed IVF to see if I can 'self diagnose' my problem.

Also, since DH and I haven't told anyone we're going through this (with the exception of my BFF) - this board is the only place I have to vent! Thanks for having an open and kind ear, everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
