Sept/Oct 2008 Cycle Buddies

Well ladies...here we all go again and I guess some for the 1st time. It is so nice to have ladies to talk to during this very difficult time in our lives.
My story:
My husband and I got married November 2006 and have been TTC for almost 2 years. We did 2 rounds of IVF last year and we did IUI earlier this year. In May we did our 3rd round of IVF and got BFP in June. By mid July we had a heart beat but we lost it on July 12th and I had a D&C July 14th. We did chromosome analysis and discovered it was a baby girl and she had Trisomy 16 which is not conducive to life. Our hearts are broken and I hope our 4th cycle will be sucessful also and give us the baby we long for.
I know it is crazy but I have had two physic readings and they both say a baby for us.
I know it is just for fun but here is what they say!
1st reading-I did a reading for you and I see
August or September as your LMP, conception, or BFP month and June as
your due date or birth month. This baby will be a girl!!

2nd reading-Thank you for being patient with me while I got back to your reading. They show me a baby girl coming your way and I see her connected to JANUARY so this would be either birth month, conceive month or the month you find out in.

I hope January is the month I find out it is a girl...the 1st one would be right on the money if we get preggers this time around...Sept conception and June 20th due date...based on my projected ER date.

Wow...what it is the world coming too...I guess these readings give me hope and boy I need all the hope I can get!!!

I would love to hear for all of you and maybe we can help each other though this journey!!!

Hey, I would like to say how sorry I am that you had to go through that...seems like we were going through the same thing at the same time just about. My only problem is tubal. dh is fine! of course the men always are. Anyway, I've had 5 m/.c. 2 tubal, 2 chemical, and a blighted ovum. I used clomid for 3 pregnancies. one natural, and the blighted ovum came from the IVF we did in May. I was 7 weeks when the u/s showed an empty sac. that was my 2nd IVF this year. I'll be headed to FET for Sept/Oct. I like the readings b/c it is cute, but I will not live by it b/c I know God knows the right time and that right child for me. Hopefully we all can join the ride together and get on the bfp train and stay there

Wanta-You are so right...only God knows but it it sure is fun...LOL

Boy I thought what I had been through was bad but your story breaks my heart! I know we will have babies in Gods time! Have you ever done a reading???

When do you start??? I go for my 1st RE appt tomorrow and they will tell me when I can start my meds!

Are you guys doing online readings? I did and online reading back in June. It stated that I would have a chemical pregnancy in Sep/Oct, then in January I would find out that I was PG and it would be a little girl. Well in June I thought it was all a crock because I was in a cycle at that time. Then my cycle was canceled, I started another cycle in Aug/Sep. Well didn't have a chemical PG just got a plain BFN. Now I will start again in Oct/Nov but I would know if I was PG before January so unless my cycle gets pushed back again, I would think the reading was all wrong. Where do you get your reading from?

Fun-Well here is where I went this last time...http://www.cheri22.com/ The 1st time was a different site and she no longer does readings.

I think the readings are not exact. They may be off by a month or two and you really need to have a very open mind.

yep i wouldn't live by it, but it is very fun to look at.

Yeah it sucks having to go through it, but we learn from each experience. It is easier to put the blame on God, than realize when we can be tested. I will definitely stick around to offer any kind of support. It doesn't appear to be many folks doing the Sept/Oct thing.

Wanta-You are right...there seems to be fewer ladies going through this right now. I hope if this does not work that I can time for one more before the end of the year. I think we will try DE if this cycle does not work.

What are you dates?? I start meds 9/13 which puts me having ER around the 26th and testing around 10/10.

Hi Ladies-

I will be joiing you at the beginning of October for our 2nd IVF cycle, as our 1st one in July turned out to be a BFN. We are praying that this cycle will be successful. We had thought about starting at the beginning of this month when I got my period but I didn't really feel it in my gut. But now I am def eager to start at the beginning of next month.

I'm hoping that we are all successful this month!!!!!

well I'm doing FET so I should be starting lupron sometime by the end of next week and the patches by the end of the month and my ET should be around October 15-18th not sure! well not until I start the lupron anyway.

Hey ladies,

I am not sure exactly when i am starting my next round of IVF but i am hoping it will be November, so i thought i'd come over and say hi....

Currently i am at the end of AF after stopping my progesterone after failed IVF #1

and i want to get right back into it.

I am trying to find a good RE in the area as we have moved (temporarily) because of DH work, I am still unpacking right now but if i can find someone i am comfortable with in the next few weeks, i hope i can start the bcp's on my next AF. How awesome would it be to be preg by CHristmas???!!!!

My main problem last time was not many embies (3 only) as i didnt respond well, so i hope we can jack up the dosage and get more so i can take a few to blasts. I did have one perfect embie and one good one though and my lining was 'perfect' so why oh why it didnt work i dont know - if everything was perfect last time and it was a BFN - where do you go from there?????

ANyway i didnt have a good feeling about my last cycle for some reason but i do have a great feeling about this one....

no i haven't. I just know i usually start lupron a week before AF. and AF will be here on the 25th. but i could be wrong.
