Tasha that is GREAT news! Congrats!!!!!!!

BecP welcome back! I feel your pain about the bleeds! I have had bleeding epesiodes on and off since I found out I was pregnant, but each time they have reassured me it is just my centitive blood filled cervix. I am sure all will be well, many woman bleed in pregnancy. Make sure you let us know how your scan goes :-)

Take care everyone,
Cowgirl

Hi Ladies,

This board was a wonderful idea. I am sorry I have not checked in over the last few days but I have not been feeling that great and have been just going home from work and trying to get some rest. I'm so excited that everyone seems to be moving along so well.

Tasha - Congratulations on the little girl! How exciting. I can't wait to find out.

As for me I am doing fine. I have had some stomach upset the last week or so and my head has been pretty stuffy so I finally bought a humidifier last night so hopefully that will help. My next appointment with my OB is not for another 12 days and my next Ultrasound is not scheduled until 2/8 (but hopefully I will be able to find out the sex at that point). I can't wait to see my little one again. In case anyone is interested, Babies r us is having a "Baby Shower" party this Saturday at a lot of their stores. They will have games and prizes. It sounds like fun. Also, my SIL gave me a book called Belly Laughs which was pretty good if anyone would like to read it I would be happy to send it to them just PM me where you would like me to send it and it is yours.

My due date is 7/3 if you can please add that to the list that would be great. Thank you.

Sorry for so few personals but I am at work and getting ready to escape. I will catch up over the weekend.

All my love and prayers to you all.

hi girls....

tasha- you were right a girl, awesome!! have you gotten the name picked out yet?? i know that you were down to 5 girl names right?? How big was the baby?? getting bigger every time... i'm looking forward to seeing our baby again in a week!!! can not wait!!

bec- hope that the sickness ends soon!!! i have a hard time finding maternity jeans that fit... i;m short and they seem to be long and i really don't have a butt to hold them up, so the lower rise ones seem to be falling down all the time!! my DH keep threating me with suspenders.. good luck on your scan next week!!!

nance- good to hear from you, sorry that you have been under the waether latley.... did the humidifier help at all??? i like the sudafed plugs... waterless vaporizer... they seem to help me.. speaking of belly laughs, my DH and i were laying there with his hand on my tummy, and he made me laugh, and my belly button popped out.... it was weird.... everytime i laughed it came out.... hopfully the wait for the scan will fly by.........

rachael- it looks cuter every time!! hope that your events go well, and your breathing is going ok...

cowgirl- take care....

Good Morning Girls.... well almost afternoon.

Colleen- yeah I was right... I just had a feeling. Well we've actually narrowed our list down to 3 names now: Addison Katharine, Aubrey Elizabeth & Olivia Katharine. I'm thinking we'll go with one of them that has Katharine as the middle name because it was my grandma's name. The baby was 10 ounces... still really tiny, but she looked so big on the monitor. However, in the book I'm reading (pregnancy week by week) it says she should be about 5 1/2 - 5 3/4 ounces.... sounds like mine is double that. I have a feeling she's going to be a big girl!

Well I can't wait to her about your scan next week... any way you'll cave and find out?

Hope you all have a great day/weekend!

tasha- i was so set on NOT finding out, because i was sure that it was a boy.... but i had a dream that we were at our US and the lady was measuring the leg bone and said, oh wow, i can tell that you are having a girl.... i said "no i didn't want to find out" she said "oh i thought that your DH said that you did want to find out".... so now that i had a dream that it's a girl, i'm confussed!! I always have dreams about what sex the baby is going to be, and they are alway right.... i do not know what we are going to do.... i think that i'm going to be creative, and let the US tech show us, but not tell us exactly what it is.... so that we have a good idea, but there is still surprise left, because we are not sure.... so that's my latest thoughts anyway.... i'm know to change my thoughts on a dime, so i think that we'll just have to see how i feel next friday..... my DH is going nuts, and still trying to convince me that we HAVE to find out.... maybe that's why i don't.... just because he really does....

SSL.... just in one of those moods!!

Colleen- well it would be great if you were having a little girl then your family would be complete (or at least that's how I look at it). I just have this gut feeling your going to cave next Friday and find out what it is.... and I can't wait to see if your right.

I think you're very brave if you don't find out. I'm going to have to I think. Although DH keeps muttering about not finding out... I want to be able to decorate the room though and choose a name! My 16 week scan is on Friday, I think they'll probably have a good idea then what the baby is, but because DH can't make it, I'll ask not to be told until 20 weeks and in the meantime convince DH it's a good idea!

hi girls... all is well here.. just counting down till Friday... i need to get a look at our little one, as it seems so long since we have .... still working on the finding out/ not finding out.... i'm trying to find creative ways to kind of find out, but still that there is a little "unknow" in the mix... we'll have to see....i'm actually hoping that the legs will be crossed and i will not have to say yes or no anyway..... so hope for me that the legs are crossed with no good look at the "parts"..

hope that everyone is having a good day..

becp-do you ever think to find out, but not your DH?? you still couldn't the room , but still you would know.....

Well, it looks like everyone survived the weekend. For some reason, I feel more tired after the weekend than before  Anyway, we had a great weekend. My son Daniel is now a boy scout and was officially accepted into a troop. He is going to his first meeting tonight (without me  ). Normally, I would take our younger sone to get ice cream when my oldest has an activity that does not involve all of us, but with the weather moving in, we would become ice cream if we went out! The ceremony in which my oldest son graduated in was wonderful expect it was 1 1/2 hours long and there was standing room only. Needless to say, I was tired and my back was killing me after that. I made it home though and even managed to finish most of my homework so tonight I can go to bed early.

We bought the baby's crib over the weekend. I got it at Babies R Us for $80.00 because they had it on clearance for 99.99 and they had an extra 20% off the clearance prices. I could not resist and I only wanted a simple traditional crib. I did that because with a C-Section the higher the crib, the less you have to bend over. The more modern designs are lower and make for more reaching. Plus we have always re-done the kids rooms once they were old enough to get a toddler bed. My oldest did the race car bed and my youngest did the fire truck. This means new beds and thus the end of the crib.

BecP - You are brave. In that situation, I would find out and then not tell DH unless he really wanted to know. This way you can begin coming up with names, decor, and other important stuff!

Racheal- glad to hear that you had a great weekend... the ceremony I'm sure was wonderful! Wow you bought the crib already.... I'm thinking we won't be doing that for at least another month or so. However, My Mom, Sister & I went to Babies-R-Us this past weekend for the baby shower event (which was horrible - the babies-r-us by me only had 6 tables set up and the people there had nothing to do with baby showers). So we just spent our time looking at all the things I want to register for and cute little baby girl clothes... I think we have our crib, dresser & glider picked out. Now it's just a matter of buying it....

Colleen- well I'm hoping that Friday comes very soon.... for your sake. Did you watch the Bears Game yesterday??? GO BEARS!!!!

BecP- like the oter girls have asked... do you think you would ever find out and not let DH know? This way you could start planning (like a mother needs to do)....

Hope you all have a great night!

tasha- we ABSOLUTLY watched the game as we are huge BEARS fans... my only comment was "where was our D-, we were ranked 1st in defense for how many weeks, now where are they??".... as for Rex, i'm still not a huge fan of him as he does not seem to look for other plays then the one they plan... sorry.... but we won, and that's what counts, right... it was a nail bitter. good thing i didn't check my BP during the game, as I'm sure it was high... i think that we'll take NO (sorry if there are NO fans)... i think that it's going to be the bears and indy in the superbowl..

good thing i did not go to babiesrus.... i have to go tomorrow... there is so much i need to get... i have a shower this weekend, and then one the next, and still haven't gotten there for a gift for my girlfriend who just had a cutie girl...

rachael- wow crib and working on the room... you are so much more ahead of where we are.... i'm still in the , not doing anything yet, as we have time... I think that it's going to bite me in the you know what!! I do not think that i could stand for 1 1/2 hours.... no one wanted to give up their seat for a preggo??.. we too do the room when it's time for the crib to go.... it's kind of sad to see the ababy stuff go... becasue that means that they are growing up so fast... and they grow up fast enough allready!!

how are the rest of you girls doing?? hope that everyone is doing GREAT

HELLO!!!!!

Hi gals...I had forgotten that you all had started this thread....when I wasn't finding some of you, I figured you had run away!

Anyway, I'm glad to have found you all!

By the way, my due date is July 6th--Just like Becky! However, with Twins they will prob. hatch early.

Wish I had more time for personals, but it's report card time for the teacher here, so I've got lots to do....ugh.

Glad you all are doing well...Nance, I was glad to finally hear from you--I was getting worried!

As for me, I actually had some weird pains today. I figured they were ligaments strecthing, but they were in a weird place--almost down at my whoohoo! I called my docs office, and they wanted to see me today. Turns out everything is fine, I guess they were round ligament pains. Oh well, I got to at least hear the heartbeats! Unfortunately, I don't think I'm getting an US until week 19 or 20. (I haven't had one since 12 weeks---argh!)

For all you gals finding out the sex.....I always swore I wouldn't, but I've been thinking about it....we'll see how I hold up! I personally love how it drives everyone else crazy--because they want to know soooo bad! :D

I'll write more later....when things settle down. I'm off to work and take some tums!

Take care!
