I'm so happy everyone is doing well. Im actually being seen by a high risk OB right now (out of my own choosing) because of the subchorionic hemorrhage. I continue to have brown spotting which is annoying but I do hope its just old blood. The bleed seems to be decreasing in size on U/S which is good but im still terrified of going into PTL or losing the babies altogether. Just have to take one day at a time.

I am only 13.5 weeks but have gained maybe 3lbs. However, I did gain a lot in the past year so Im not too worried. Im not a petitie person either, so I think if I gain anywhere from 30-35, I should be ok. I already have bump, but its not too bad. I started with maternity clothes already just because they are more comfy. Plus my friend just gave me a ton of clothes from when she was pregnant over a year ago.

The doc tried to find out if we are having boys or girls at the 13wk visit but unfortunately, their legs were crossed!!! Hopefully at the 15wk visit we will know. Wow, so many b/g twins on here! Anyone having anything other than b/g? I would personally LOVE two girls. :-)

Good luck everyone and keep us posted!

Meds- yes for the past week i have been having headaches too the feel like sinus headaches.

I aslo had the subchronic bleeding to in the beginnig and then went to brown spotting and I was having brown spotting until about 2 weeks ago when my doctor put me on baby asprin and now its gone so I would ask your doc abut that.

I would not mind b/g twins but I think same sex is is good to so everything could be easy to do.

MedStudentMom, I went through the headaches. Luckily they do subside after awhile. I was having them non stop for awhile but now I can't remember the last time I had one so hopefully relief will come to you soon :)

aims, kicks are getting stronger. More like a tumbling gym class lately . Hip pain is kicking in for me too.

london wrote:Hello ladies

I probably will nit find out until another six weeks but I have a sono this Friday where I will be 15 weeks and 3 days so I might find out then I hope so.

I have had like three nose bleeds and sinus headaches

I just pray that my babies are just healthy babies and growing on target

I cannot wait to find out so I can start decorating myself that is the best!

Good luck ladies on upcoming appointments
London, I have a question re: the brown spotting that you said you had because of the SCH. How long did you spot for? I have been having brown spotting for nearly a week now, every day and its a bit frustrating. I will ask my doc about aspirin, but just curious if I should expect to get this brown stuff for many more weeks. Thanks a bunch!

Hey ladies- I have been having a dull pain on my left side between my hip bone and belly button that leasds to my lower back on the same side. It started this morning, and after an hour of resting it had not gone away. I called my dr office & spoke with a nurse and after a bunch of questions (I guess eliminating possible issues, no spotting, no tightness, etc...) she felt it is most likely round ligament stretching. Just wondering if anyone else had experienced this? Also- I go in the morning , so she told me unless it got worse, they could check it tomorrow.

Oh and BTW- I think we will find out tomorrow what we have, 2 boys, 2 girls or 1 of each:) Anyone else find out this week?

faith, my round ligament pain stays in that area you described in the front...either on my right or left side between my pelvic bone and belly button. It never goes around to my back and only lasts about 2-3 mins. When I do feel it, it's pretty intense though! I don't think I could stand it for an hour. I did read that it's different for everyone. So maybe mine are more intense and shorter and yours are dull and last longer...who knows?! I feel mine a couple times a week and lately they've gotten more intense as my belly gets bigger.

MedStudentMom, I was told with my SCH that I would either spot/bleed until it was gone or my body would absorb it. Lucky for me my body began to absorb it pretty quickly so I think I only spotted a couple days. BUT I bleed really heavily with clots on the first day so maybe I just got rid of most of it up front.

Thanks cymplicity and London. The spotting seems to have subsided a bit which is nice. I go in next Wed to my OB for another U/S so hopefully most of it has resorbed. I would love that!

Faith, I have been getting pain on my left side as well. sharp pain, similar to how cymplicity described it. It doesnt last for more than a few seconds at a time and usually occurs when I get up suddenly. I assume it is round ligament pain and am not too worried. Im sure yours is very similar.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks for the help concerning the pain I was having yesterday. I ad my appointment today, and everything checked out fine, so DR is not worried, therefore- I will not worry. Just normal pregnancy pain and changes.

Onto the more interesting news.... It's a boy and girl!!!:) We couldn't be happier, all the testing and anatomy looks great and the dr seems to happy that we are progressing as expected.

Hope everyone else is doing well!

London, welcome to the cerclage club :? . How short had your cervix gotten? Must have been pretty short for them to do it so sudden. When I was down to .59cm they were still debating whether a cerclage would be beneficial or not. I got it placed 2 days later and by then had dilated .5cm .

All I can say is that things have been holding steady for me since getting it at 17 wks and I'm so glad we had it done! I was pretty sore and crampy for about 3-4 days afterwards so I kept popping the pills they gave me. My braxton hicks contractions kicked in around that time and have been with me since. After about the first week I felt fine. Now my cervix is measured about every 2 weeks or so. I've met a lot of women on the web who've gotten cerclages and a lot of them return to normal activities, going back to work etc, after getting one placed. Because it's twins and I started to dilate a little they have me taking it easy at home. I move around quite a bit but try to relax in my recliner as much as possible and leave the house a couple times a week.

Although I feel pretty good the docs still seem to be a little on edge and hope I get to 24 weeks at least. They definitely don't get my hopes up although I'm pretty optimistic anyway. I have 11 days to go! They'll set a new goal for me after then, probably 28 weeks. If your cervix wasn't as short and you have some length now to work with I'm sure things will be fine. Feel free to ask me any question you have!
