hi everyone i would like to join this board , Before i was with oct/nov cycle , I m getting ready for another fresh cycle i thinking to start in dec but becoz the insurance i have to wait till jan but still i m up for dec becoz we have to start with bcp and i dont think bcp cost more so i m hoping to start in dec

i wanna to share something about me , my sister living in africa yesterday its her birthday and I forgot her birthday but one of my cousin remains me thanks to her for that and she told me about mysister
she told me my sister had abortion 2 days ago i didt know that becoz i dont think they gonna tell me anyways , but i was so sad and apset not at her but i want baby so badly and i m not getting it and people like my sister doest wanna and they get it , it was realy hard time for me to understand why it happe to me,
i m sorry for all of this but i just wanna to share with somebody ,
I will be joining you guys as well. I'm meeting with my IVF coordinator next week but have to wait until Jan to start my cycle. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Can't wait to get the show on the road already.

Bei so sorry that you had to hear such news, its tough hearing someone get rid of their baby when we so desperatly want one - lifes not far is it!!
Arabscrool - hopefully dh will come round to the idea esp. since its a FET and less expensive.
So i had my consult with new clinic today and getting lots of tests done - got auto immunes today and AMH, and getting the Chicago bloods done on 8th Dec. as per name these are sent all way from Ire. to Chicago but it will see if theres a reason why i am miscarrying. In meantime i get to start bcps as soon as AF comes!! Think thats around begining of Dec its weird i have only had 1 AF since Feb due to m/c's!! Then start the sniffer on 31st jan, stims on 9th Feb and Egg collection 22nd Feb. I cant believe i have such a detailed plan my last clinic never told us much. Cant wait to get cracking, they will also put me on aspirin, herparin and progersterne till 16wks if i get pg and see will that help prevent m/c.
Keep the faith girls we will get there eventually.

Gi- I am so glad to hear your appt went well. Nothing like leaving feeling good and ready to go again. We did cycle July/August together, this will be our time I just know it! It will be for all of us!
I had my appt today as well. The Dr. said she couldnt completely explain it but they do believe the quality and growth before being frozen had something to do with it. They were not bad embryos but not as strong as the ones implanted my first cycle. She said my fresh cycle was perfect as far as stimming, lining and all that good stuff that the next time around they are not going to change a thing. The first cycle they just didnt implant for whatever reason. So once I get AF in January I will call, then start on cycle day 21 and from there here we go!
I am excited to get started but also think I can finally sit back and enjoy life again just as me and my husband and not wonder when it is going to happen again and what is next. Now that I know what is going on I am ready to relax and enjoy the holidays. It will be a new year and start to a new life for all of us!

Penny2 - i am glad you feel happy about your appt, it sucks when you dont get a transfer doesnt it - our 4th fresh cycle none of our embies made it too blast and it was heartbreaking as they told us we would never have kids so much to our surprise we concieved twice since then! So we are hopeful its just a matter of time before one "sticks" around - Please God soon!!!! Sounds like we will be cycling close together its Faith! J and i are also going to enjoy the hols before it all kicks off - i am sure i can drink on the bcps?? This will be our 7th cycle so dont get too disheartened you have a long way too catch up

We'll I think I'm officially joining this thread although I am really not sure about timing this round. I have had two canceled IVF cycles, and 4 failed IUIs so our new plan is to use an egg donor. We met with RE today and he said we needed to speak with a counselor and advised that we meet with an attorney before we pick a donor and get started. So many hoops but I'm ready to get going. I think I've finally accepted that it won't happen with my eggs so I'm to the point of just being excited to start this.
j&c-we are back together again :) This has to be a better round for us!
bei-I'm so sorry about your news. I try to get past the "why is life so unfair" but it always hurts when things like this happen.
gi, rikees, rosario, and jaydent-My heart breaks for you. I can't imagine the hurt you feel. You are amazingly strong women and we are all cheering for BFPs for you!!!!

Arabsrcool: 10 snow babies?!? That's great!! I thought I had a lot with 3!! If/When your DH warms up to the idea, do you think you'd cycle closer to Jan or April?
bei: Don't feel sorry for sharing at all. We can all understand how frustrating it is when we see the people around us getting pregnant so easily. It's just salt in the wound when those people didn't plan it or don't want the baby.

Yeah, 10 snow babies. I know only about 70% make thaw, but that in theory still leaves me with 7. I never even considered a 3rd child when trying to concieve my 2nd. Now I feel like its the right thing, to try again, and give these snow babies a chance to live. My dh and I really wrestled with what to do with them, I just really didn't like the options. it weird, now I really want a third child. If I am lucky enough to get pg again and have a successful pregnancy, then still have snow babies left, I will again look at my options for my remaining embies. Part of me feels really guilty because I have been so blessed with my two girls, like I am being greedy.
Sooooo, my dh just called and he is on board. GULP!! I left a message with the nurses on where to go from here. I guess I need to call on Monday and schedule a consult with my RE and then off we go. So, I am thinking I will start in January now. Holy Cow, I am so nervous.
Sounds like alot of you girls have been through some really tough times and had a really hard journey so far. I look forward to getting to know each of you and the support we will give to each other. I am going to do an early New Years Toast, BFP's all around!!

Arabscrool- I am so glad to hear your husband is on board and ready for another. I feel the same way about snow babies, I do not like the alternative routes so I would keep trying too!
Gi- I am right there with you....I am such a wine drinker. I bought a box the other day and have had a glass every night since. So I will enjoy it now and will LOVE not having any for 9 months too! And so will you!!!
Well my husband said last night about waiting until March for our next cycle. I dont think I can wait that long. I was pretty close to agreeing but something held me back and sure enough about an hour later after we talked and he let some of his stress out he said, "I think starting back up as soon as we can will be good, let's keep going" So I am still on board for January. He said he stresses over me doing the shots, it is just a reminder to him that we cant have kids. I said to him "But we can, I just have to give shots who cares" So I think it helped him feel a little better knowing that I REALLY am strong and can handle this!! So round 2 here we come! I am so excited and if we could start tomorrow I so would. But I think time to enjoy the holidays will do me good too!!
Oh are any of you writing a journal? When I started in the summer with my 1st cycle I bought a book. I write a letter to my unborn child everyday during the cycle. When it slowed down I would just write when I went to the Dr. or when I was thinking about it. I thought it would be cool to give to him/her one day. For him/her to realize and know how much we really did want them. So that day when they yell "I hate you, why did you ever have me" I can throw the book at them...hahaha

this calaender i found one the website so i m just posting it so u guys know how long it takes for to done this procesure , For IVF cycls where we use a birth control pill, we usually give 12-21 days of active pills and overlap the Lupron with the last 3 birth control pills. A period starts within a few days after the last pill is taken and we start ovarian stimulation injections soon thereafter.
Thanks for the calender, it is no wonder we get feeling a little crazy during a cycle with all the waiting.

Isn't it interesting that your dh just needed to open up about why he was thinking about waiting until March. Sometimes I think we forget how affected our husbands are by this stuff, because physically we take the brunt of all of it. Glad to hear you are moving ahead in January. Neat idea about the journal.

thank you for your kind words. Its kinda ironic that you asked about borrowing a few embies, because in the back of my mind, I was thinking that if I had some snow babies leftover, and knew where they were going, that I would donate them. I just am not ok with donation and having no idea what happened to them. It one of those struggles I never thought of when we started IVF. I just wanted a child and didn't give much thought to any leftover embies and what to do with them. It wasn't until I gave birth to my dd that I was really pondering what to do with them. So I will just have to wait and see how this all goes, maybe I will use all the embies (not at once obviously, no Octomom desires here) and still not have a viable pregnancy, or maybe I will, ARGGGGHH, it started already!!!. The uncertainity is getting to me already, and just today we decided to go ahead.
I am with you about the wine. Easley's makes a great Mulled Cider, that you serve warm. Delicious! So lets drink up and hope no drinks for any of us in the New Year.

gi, Penny2, Arabsrcool: LOL!! I also LOOOOOOOOOVE wine. I'm already thinking about how glad I am that I'm not cycling until Jan so that I can booze it up over the holidays. Hmmmmm.....perhaps I should be worried about that!
Penny2: I think a journal is such a nice idea. I would definitely write one if I had ANY talent or creativity. But, I don't, so my journal would sound something like this:
Day 1: Posted/Talked to my IVF girls
Day 2: Posted/Talked to my IVF girls
Day 3: Posted/Talked to my IVF girls and Daddy gave me an injection in the bum
Seriously, if I had even the SLIGHTEST writing ability, I would definitely do it too. It's such a great idea and would be such a thoughtful and sentimental gift to future children.
Arabsrcool: Glad to hear that you're definitely joining us! YAYYY!! It's true, the IVF journey is full of struggles. Just when you think you've been through them all, you're faced with MORE difficult decisions like whether or not to cycle again, what to do with extra embryos, etc. It seems like nothing's easy in this journey.
It will be for all of us!
