I think it's interesting how much RE offices vary with proceedure, schedules, etc. Dr Thomas likes to transfer 2 at day three, but I guess it comes down to what the eggs do. I didn't know that some practices let patients decide how many to transfer. I think this whole world of IVF is fascinating
Does anyone plan to POAS before their beta? For like, a day, I'd convinced myself that I'd be able to wait. HA! Especially because our beta is estimated for Christmas Eve, I'd REALLY like to find out before then.
Oh, and I'd just like to report that I just gave myself my first shot EVER. For me, that's freaking HUGE. See, when I was a kid (ok, lying...this was through my 20's, too) I was TERRIFIED of needles. When I was a kid, they'd have to round up 5 nurses to hold me down. When I got older, I would get HORRIBLE nausea. Dang near panic-attack state.
I've been getting allergy shots for the past 2 years, and it's such a breeze now. I don't even flinch. That said, I still never thought that I'd be able to give myself a shot! And tonight, I totally did! I even fished out a sparkly, glittery bandaid to slap on my thigh
Ok, self-congratulating is over now
