belinda!! of course i remember u, i remember when u were still pregnant with your baby - now lil annie is 10months old?!!! WOW time does fly! i was in qld visiting my sister a few months ago, i love it!
em, sorry about your failed icsi, its so hard... the only thing different this time (apart from the doc/hosp!) was that they put me on antibiotics just before the procedure and 5 days after the procedure to prevent the same disaster happening again. the antibiotic thing is not something they do here in australia whereas i think its compulsory in other countries... apart from that the whole experience was different mainly coz i didnt get violently ill like last time altho i must say my attitude somehow changed.. for example... last time i read heaps as well, kept lighting candles and just being neurotic about it (like thinking i couldnt sleep on my side coz i'd squish the embryos and thinking i was going to pee the embryos out etc eek) whereas this time i pretty much carried on like normal and treated it as a 'natural life event'... of course i still watched what i ate etc...
people told me that i'd get there, but i never believed them and now, so far its true so Em, think positive and altho we have a lil help in the process its still a natural life event and i dont see why it shouldnt work for all of us!
ellie, my goodness, and i thought i was the only one - u know how rare it is to get septicaemia from this! i take it they didnt give u antibiotics? where are u? so glad u survived it as well, did u have an operation and a drainage pipe etc? how long were u in hosp? hey, i wish we had the same odds with the lotto lol which in a way we did coz getting pregnant is like winning the lotto!! congratulations on your twins - double wow!!
randa, of course i remember u too and your good wishes when i was sooo down, again thanku
