our clinic said it was ok to have sex 3 days after transfer...we didn't. i told my husband we had to wait at least 2 weeks...he bought it.

well yesterday i popped into see my GP.....i have pain in pit of stomach and im a bit stiff....she tested urine and that was clear....she also sent me over for a quick scan just to rule out anything related with the placentas.... scan was fine...babies are great!!!! one was lying back relaxing...and the other one was really active with his/her hand in the air....anyway turns out its a kidney infection and he suspects a pulled muscle aswell....
today im not as sore as ive been drinking like a fish but im still a bit sore to bend or straighten up right....

Hi kareen. so glad to hear everythngs lovely with the babies. i cant believe you have had your scan. im dying to get mine. so what did you see. was there a big difference than last time? do they look like babies yet. and did you hear their heartbeats this time. your next scan will probably be another four weeks, they might be able to tell you what they are.

im pleased you have had your scan and all is well. you must feel more confident. i cant wait to see my babies again. sorry your not feeling too good. make sure you get plenty of rest. the main thing is their ok

hi hayley....

even though they scanned me yesterday,i will still get my scan next week... .....
the scan was amazing....i was so surprised when i saw a little hand and the baby was actually moving around...the other baby was lying back as if he/she was having a rest....both heartbeats were very visable... i didnt hear the hearts but seeing was far better......both babies measured exactly the same and my due date is the 14th february 07....though doctor said twins can be delivered 2 or 3 weeks early.....

cant wait to hear how your scan goes next week hayley.... you will be amazed at the difference a few weeks does....

just a quick post today. Still have sore tummy feels like cramps in it. Had my blood test and it has gone form 267 to 793 so it is still increasing. To have next blood test on friday . I was hoping for a lesurly day as it is my birthday but no i have to go into London!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Maybe this is too much infomation but, is anyone getting up like 6 or 7 times in to night the pee. i cant sleep much cause my belly constantly feels like ive got a full blader all the time.Maybe one of the babies is lying on my blader i dont no
ps i cant believe im 12 weeks tomorrow another 4 weeks and i think i will be able to relax.

Hello Everyone

Hayley~~~ you are definitly not alone on the pee'ing issue, im up at least 5 times a night and get absalutely no sleep and hence the reason im so exhausted throughout the day. I was just told to drink all the water i need to around dinner time to prevent going to the loo all night long.

Kareen~~~ How lovely your little beanies are so active well one was anyway the other is just relaxing!!! He/She is probably thinking i;ve got my whole life ahead of me to move around, Im just going to relax where its nice and warm and with my mummy!!

Susan~~ Your numbers are looking really good!!! Keep it up and keep us posted so we can celebrate with you.

Kristin~~ how are you dear??? hope you are doing well.

Gigi~~ congrats on the BFP....how many embies did you transfer??

Gail~~ So glad you were able to see your first scan, it truly is a miracle when you see the little life inside of you.... SO happy for you!

Tammy ~~ how are you lovely? How was your scan yesterday? Were you able to see the little one move its arms and legs? Hope you give us the good news soon...

As for me i have an appoinment with a special doctor who handles high risk cases like triplets..I have my fingers crossed to make sure he says everything will be ok... The best thing that will come out of todays appointment is that i will get to see my beanies again that would be twice this week, i feel super spoiled.... Wishing you all a great day!!!

Hope the rest of you are doing good. When the time is right are you all intending to find out the sex of the baby/ies?

We had another scan yesterday. It is so reassuring to see the little heartbeat beating away like there's no tomorrow! Baby is the size it should be, nice and happy and everything looks great. We have now been discharged from the clinic. I have an appointment with the midwife next week.

My boobs aren't hurting as much now. Still hurt a little but have eased. I'm starting to feel sick every morning but don't know if that's because of my sugar levels - I have to keep them really low during pregnancy and my body's not used to it!

I'm still getting up every half hour or so to go for a wee! I think the baby is playing football with my bladder!!

The gestone shots are really hurting still. The sites are numb now and really bruised. The doctor said we can stop them at 11 weeks so only 2 weeks left!

It's so nice when you haven't been on for a few days and you see your ticker. I can't believe I'm up to 9 weeks already, it doesn't seem that long ago when it was only 4+ weeks.

My news is having a C@@P day. It is my birthday today which is making it worse. i turned up at cliic to have my BT at 9 am and they said they were expecting me at 7.30 as i was probably having iVIG today. I explained that i was not told that and that when they phoned on wed to say that my levels had gone from 267 to 793 i had to ask if my results were back from usa. tey said they were and that they were in range and that i might possibly need IVIG at some time but not at the moment. S

So i now have to wait around for results and they will phone me asap but it takes up to 7 hours for iVIG. Not what i wanted to do on my birthday!!!!!

I also hope it is not tommorow as i ahve a good friends wedding.

I am now getting worried that my body is rejecting them and they have got me panicy. I hate this waiting.

I will let you all know what happens. and do personnals later

Vita triplets it must be so exciting now you are over the shock, if they are moving about a lot now I can only imagine how active they will be in a few months. How did the appointment and scan go today?

Susan the Zita west books says not to have sex until after 12 weeks, I have probably upset your husband now!

Karen you made me laugh, not obviously the pain your in but your scan and one of your babies lying back relaxing, looks like they are going to be complete opposites of each other. Hope you feel better soon.

Hayley how are you feeling, I have been reading whats been going on here recently and it sounds as if you have had a tough time, hope things are on the up now. I go to the loo 3 - 4 times a night, I always thought that you would pee more at the end of pregnancy, but sadly I was wrong there and its started already.

Jo seeing the scan is such an amazing experience, wish I could have one every day. I always said that I would never find out what sex the baby was but that was before I got my BFP. I feel so sure for some strange reason that this is a girl that I think I will find out because if it’s a boy I don’t want to have spent the whole 9 months calling it she. Do you think you will find out?

I have my first midwife appointment next week which I am really looking forward to. it’s a bit early but apparently there has been a baby boom where I live so she has had to squeeze me in.

hope you's are all doing well......gailp...im a lot better ...pain is all but gone... recieved phone call from GP with results from tests regarding scan/urine ...it seems even though they suspected kidney infection although urine was clear....they think i had a cyst on my ovary and it ruptured.....OMG!!!...said its common,people that have had ivf treatment some tend to get cysts....and the fact i suffered from a cyst in the past though it was on my tube.....anyway...they said i will be fine and thats that...right i better get back to my cheese&ham&tomatoe toastie....mmm mmmmm mmmmmm

Kareen glad you are feeling better, doesn't matter what they say it was as long as the pain has gone and the babies are ok! Your toastie sounds nice. I'm snacking on a pot of olives - seem to want lots of them!

Gail I'm definately going to find out the sex, we've got two girls. Emma (who's 4) wants a girl and wants to call her Minnie Mouse or Dora the Explorer. Jodie (who's 3) wants a boy called Nemo. I think we need to find out to give them time to get used to it. Being diabetic I will be scanned every week to two weeks from about 30 weeks so I can make sure the sex hasn't changed each time we go! Also, we haven't got anything. I know you can have lots of neutral colours but would be nice to get a bit of colour. I need to be prepared. Both Emma and Jodie came 5 weeks early.

I've got the midwife next week, it's so exciting!

The clinic has phoned me and did not have to do IVIG today( medicine for immune problem and coats natural killer cells) My body rejects embryios with out it. My HCG levels have also risen to 1856 which is more than doubled again so they are pleased that way. To have next BT on sunday .

So i can now enjoy the rest of my birthday. DH is taking me out for diner.

Hi everyone Ive made it to 12weeks . im so happy today. i get my scan in 11 days and counting i cannot wait to see them again.

i went for my first appointment today with my consultant. she is really nice. not too keen on my midwife though i met her about 3 weeks ago, she seemed a bit dizzy which is a little worrying.

anyway.......the doctor checked my weight, blood preasure, urine and everything. she said everything was fine, though i was a bit concerned about my weight i was 8 stone 2. im usually nine stone. with my scan being ages away i asked her could she try and listen to the heartbeats to ease my mind. she said i would probably end up worrying more cause they probably wont be picked up.
she tried anyway and she was gob smacked herself. first we heard one then the other. she couldnt believe how loud and strong they were.
IT WAS ABSOULUTLY AMAZING. I cant wait to see what they look like now only 11 days to go
