jackie --- you doin the diet thing too???? i am.....(trying anyway).....decided after bfn in august -- that before round 2 in january --i wanted to lose atleast 20lbs........went and bought new digital scale ( ) and new tennis shoes always seem to get me motivated INITIALLY.......so i went w/ what works --- got new tennies.....been trying to stick to a work schedule that allows me to get out w/ enough time to get home and have dr. phil (talk show host) on while i'm on the treadmill --- i'm on week #3 -- so far, so good!!!!

as for Donnie osmond my sis (37 years ago) loved him ...he made a come back here when he did Joseph on stage...and has been about on t.v. ever since. He was interviewed by Piers Morgan a few weeks ago and i actually felt for the guy. He had a very pressured childhood and a breakdown in 20's. haven't watched the dancing thing so know nothin about Marie. Good lcuk on 2ww hun x x

Rachel - I can't believe you've still no car. Hope you get it sorted very soon. Glad you're feeling better now.

Well this 2ww is driving me crazy. I'm still feeling nauseous and don't know why. Surely its too early for m/s but its a week since my last dose of menopur so shouldn't still be that. Had a lot of cramps this time too.
Anyway, enough moaning. I'm now a GODMOTHER! Had a lovely time at my nephew's christening Sunday and the weather was more like August.

Hi girls

Just a quick update and will do personals when i get a big stronger. Am thinking of you all and thank you for your good wishes for us, its so lovely of you all.

Am still struggling and get quite tearful. Went out today for the first time to tescos, couldnt cope with the new babies so went home. Cant even manage to talk to anyone on the phone but today my good friend called and we had a chat, i managed to keep it together---just. Then J (my ex keychild) who is like a son to us, rang me to see how i was and that was it, i got tearful but he did the talking so dont know if he suspected anything. Poor thing sent me a tx after, saying he has missed me and not to worry as i have him. We are fortunate to have found each other but ----and i feel terrible saying this but we want a child of our own. I love him like my own but i want to be pregnant.

Anyway my consultant from home and my Dr from IM rang and looks like i will have a hysteroscopy either 9th Nov or Dec, this will be confirmed Thur or Fri then ET can go ahead after this. At the moment i just feel its a waste of time but we have to be grateful we have 2 embies, so have to try.

DH is being a rock and we are having lots of chats and cuddles, would be lost without him. He keeps reasuring me that he would rather have me than a baby but keeps saying we will try as long as we are both strong enough as we want a baby together.

Anyway thats about it. Back at work tomorrow and dreading it. Keep getting headaches and not sleeping well, probably stress. Dr wanted to sign me off work but whats the point, i would love to hide away at home but it will make me worse and i could easily become depressed. Maybe after a few days at work i will be ok, if not i will take the line from the Dr.

Ok going to watch bringing up baby and sob the night away or get mad at them moaning------dont know how lucky they are.

Hi ladies...I should be going to bed so I can work in the morn...Love the 2-10 shift to turn around and be at the 8-4 shift the next day!! LOVE IT!!!

Jackie- I am heading back home to California on Friday (now I live in New Hampshire) for a few days for a friend's wedding and to see some family. Gonna be a fast trip with a return on Tuesday, but I don't have to be back to work til the Saturday. It will help pass the time, at least a week, but the 2ww will always be on my mind!

ICSI- sticks evil, I get it...but I have only met step 3 of my 12 step "I will not pee on a stick" program...I'm not quite there yet I love to pee!!!! I did IUI so they only put 50% of the dna in there, I hope to pop out the other 50% soon and together that adds up to one super cute kid But right now they are just swimming to their destiny!!!

JenB- hopin that donor hurrys up!!! and that your lining grows...what is the "goal" lining thickness?

Su- yeah!! pukies??? you are at day 7 right? That could be good! Hoping it is so...not that I hope you barf and stuff, just sending you the positive baby vibes and I think that means I hope you get the pukies! PS American Princess is a show they take a handful of American girls (the farthest from princess material) and make them into princesses...of course it involves voting one off each week until the final 2 go to a ball and get to dance with a prince...blah blah blah..I'd probably never make it past week 2...I have no desire to learn to make tea or host a dinner party where the place setting has 42 knives, forks and glasses per person!!! But living in a castle would be fun

JenD- Sorry to hear you sturggling. But it really does sound like things are getting better at least from what I get in your writing. They say time heals wounds...it sucks, yes, and of course easier said than done, but I hope you keep us updated. We are here for ya!

Ok, I REALLY should go to bed. I'll just let ya all know I'm not supposed to POAS til 10/30....yeh right, I'm outta control!!!

Jen, I am so very sorry. You are going through such a difficult time and I can only imagine the hurt and anger you must be feeling. But I also admire your strength to go on and do more tests. Like you said, you do have 2 embies. Please feel free to rant and moan all you like on this thread. And take as much time off as you possibly can. You need to recover properly both emotionally and physically. On the positive side, you have a loving and supportive DH. Please don't ever feel you are holding him back. This is a true test in your marriage and you have done well - you are a strong couple and that will carry you far.

Beckster, so glad to have you back. I;m sorry you had to go through all that, no one needs it especially as the whole point of being part of a forum such as this is that you can rant to people in the same position as you and therefore more understanding. You are very much valued in our eyes!

Pequele, you sound as mad as beckster!!!!!! DO NO POAS. you must put stickies all over your house esp in the bathroom to remind you. If you have to, please wait until at least 2 days before your test time.

Su, hang on in there. Test date will come soon. Try not to make anything of the symptoms either way.

ICSI girl, you seem to be doing well with your diet and exercise routine. Keep going. Our treadmill is too heavy to move around so unfortunately can't exercise and watch tv. I keep on saying to myself that I would probably exercise if we had something in our living room excuses...excuses....

Jackie, hope you're enjoying your break. What have you been up to?

Beachbaby, Gill, nerms, wishfull, hope you are all ok too. Sorry if I've missed out anyone.

I just seem to keep on going on a roller coaster of emotions from to . Feel really sorry for DH who is trying hard to cope himself but has to end up consoling me. Was doing well with weight loss, now seems to have gone haywire. We're just at that stage where we don't know what route to take and have more questions and answers. Keep on getting set backs. We haven't even been able to start one cycle of IVF yet - had that many set backs. My eyes are burning from all the crying. Thought that I wouldn't have the capacity to cry anymore but my eyes just keep on flooding.

Anyway, enough moaning. I know you're all going through the same sort of thing. Like Jen, I cannot bear to go out and see women with bumps and others strolling around happily with their little ones.

Jenbabes, wow way to go your linings thickening nicely, i'm close behind you, start pills tomorrow(fingers crossed) for thickening ready for ET. The beauty of yours is you get a few days in bigB, and i get a few hours in misreble Leeds!!

Everyone i've missed so very sorry, baby dust to us all.

As for me been sick since last Friday, spent all weekend lying around, got some virus, feel much better today, almost normal(debateable ha ha) anyway go for my check tomorrow that i am all shut down and if all ok will start the oestrogen tablets to thicken my lining, so fingers crossed. Also have had the councillor leave me a message she ahs a slot on Friday, but i have a staff member off that day so will only be able to do it if its in my home town, as i will leave us a little short staffed for an hour. Have not mananged to speak to her in person yet, we keep leaving each other messages.
Anyway got to run, work beckons.
