Also the adoption s/w called and she cant find our paperwork we sesnt last week but will call on Monday and make a date to visit us. Dont know whats in the air today but someone is FINALLY giving us some good luck.

Ok, am off to get some tea but will check in later

jen1 congrats on getting your appointment early!!! good old NHS for once eh!!! good luck in advance for tuesda hun x x x love and hugs x x

angel- the meds are prescribed by the clininc at Im for 2ww and before. When BFP'd you need to get a private prescription from GP. Some Gp will prescibe on nhs but they are in the minority. We acually bought some meds ( just in case) from the chemist over in Spain...so a bit cheaper then a privte prescription x x hope that bhelps and please dont worry about asking things here everyone is fab at helping x x

beckster good to hear from you hun...and thanks for the BFP wishes.

PeQ- well done for not POAS yet!!! I too have had cramps day 7 and 8 of the cycle and they are heavy. :? Know it can go either way ...good luck for tuesday hun x x just the weekend and mon to get through x x

ICSI loving your mad posts...as i said to peq above no peed on a stick yet...holding out fot test day at the moment if i can keep it up.

hi to everyone else x x xlove and hugs x x

Becky- :D Great to hear off you hun, sorry you're still feeling fed up, but you have had a lot on your plate recently. Take as much time as you need babe, were here for you xxx

Angel- :D Hope you are feeling better after having answers to some of your questions( I was given my meds at the IM and they were included in the price so I dont know how much they actualy cost, any extra meds I needed my gp would give me a private prescription), have you decided on a Nov/Dec cycle?

Hi to everyone else hope you are all well.

I had a fab time with my sister and nieces and the weather was great too .
I had a letter off "The Anthony Nolan Trust"(I am registered as a donor) telling me that I am a potential match to a patient who is in need of a bone marrow transplant and they wish to procede to the next and final stage of testing   I phoned today to say ok and now I have to go and give another blood sample to see if I will be the best match. I have a one in four chance of beeing chosen. I am very nervous :? but I have to do it or it was pointless me registering in the first place.
Appart from that nothing much else is happening at the moment, still plodding on  . Finished decorating too, so having a rest this weekend.
Take care
Lots of love

Hi ladies,

Su, i am so sorry, i hope they allow you to keep the Ds so you can have a break and start again in the new year.Hugs

icsi girl, wow you make me laugh, how you keep it up i don't know.

becky, glad things are getting back to normal for you, Hope you'r feeling happier soon.

Jen1d, so happy for you that your op has been brought forward, hope this is the turn for the better for you. You are already sounding more positive, good luck on tuesday. hugs

jenbabe, hope your relaxing well, glad your DH is spoiling you, sounds like a wonderful weekend, enjoy.

rachel and Shantala, wow your both moving along so fast, hope your starting to enjoy your pregnancies and not freaking out as much. rest up and take care.

peq, hope your feeling ok, hope your Dr can sort out your leg for you, enjoy the weekend off, even if you are practically housebound, better than being in work!!

carolyn, hope your doing ok, how are the patches going, are you on them yet? hope you start to take it easier soon.

Sorry to all the ladies i've missed, angel, carolyn, jackie, wishful, i am thinking of you all.

as for me, scan went well, lining nice and thick, transfer will be Tuesday, start the beloved pessaries tonight, and the aspirin the day of my transfer. Had Accu on thursday as i have had a really bad neck/shoulders (think its all the stress), anyway that did the trick, went out for dinner with DH, and he was sick in the night, some sort of virus so he's trying to shake it off so he can look after me next week. So i have got my PMA head on, this is the one!!!

take care ladies will post again soon, sticky baby dust to us all.

PS, this transfer is a day earlier than this time last year, which i am glad about.

Hi Ladies!

Jayne- sending lots of sticky baby dust for you!!! One question, what are pessaries? Are those pills or items inserted elsewhere? God I hope they are pills :?

Rachel and Shantala- It just seems like yesterday you guys got your BFO and now look you are moving out of the MS phase!!!! WOW!!!

Wishful/Carolyn- mad I tell you MAAAADDD!!!!!!   Me too, gonna try to do some laundry. Will be a challenge since laundry is in the basement and bedrooms are on 2nd floor though I can put more weight on my leg, it is slow goin'!

Gil- I truly respect your generosity in donating marrow! I always said if I knew of someone having a drive in my area that I would go register. I hope for the patient's sake that even if you aren't a final match, that there is someone out there for him/her!

JenB- how is it goin???? ICSI's "no one put's Baby in the corner" hahaha...makes me wanna join you guys for a Dirty Dancing fiesta!

JenD- Tuesday's almost here....be sure to let us know how it goes! If the SW can't find your papers, do you have another copy or do you need to go through all the troubles again :(

To eveyone else I missed....<<<<BIG WAVE>>>>

As for me....I suck, I suck I SUCK!!! Yup I know you all will be disappointed to here.... I POAS!!!!!! AAACCKKKK No food throwing please!!!! BUT.................. I got a faint pink line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I'm freakin out!!! I am still soooo nervous, I called the clinic (Sat morn but they are supposed to be there). I'd REALLY like to have a blood test to be sure my progesterone levels are high enough...remember after coming of B/C 4 months ago my luteal phases have been wicked short so we did clomid to help...so far so good, but I am still nervous!!!!

I guess I will just go veg in front of the tv for a bit....hey look Beverly Hills 90210 is on...Christmas episode....OMG look at the old school portable phone!! CLUNKY and pullout antenae!!! HAHAHAHAAHAHA About as good as putting Baby in the corner!

Trying to catch up. Such a lot going on

Jen1d - good luck for the hysterosc on Tuesday. With a general it is a breeze. Hope that it all goes well for you

JB- - hope that you have your feet up and chilling. I am so excited for you on Friday

Angie - what you said a way back is so true. Each time I try to not get my hopes up ahead of AF. Then she shows up and I always wonder why I could not have a miracle. Also totally get the wishing time away. Feel like I have been doing that for the last 2 1/2 years. Ever since we got married. It is such a shame

Shantala - you know we way too well. I am in cycle/business frezy of course although I am finding time for X Factor and the Dancing!!! Cannot believe that you are in your 2nd term. That is simply amazing. Are you relaxing and enjoying

Jackie - totally understand the diet thing. I try hard for a few days and lose a few lbs - only for it to go back on again and more. It is just too hard!

Beckster - so sorry that you are down. It is hard when everyone is pregnant around you. Look after yourself. Glad that Weslshgirl is back. That must mean that you are on your way back to tip top form

Aunty - think of you every day babe

Su - I am sorry that this is so hard. Sounds like you need to take some time out for you to recover. This takes so much out of us. Hopefully they will let you use the sperm for a little longer babe

Steph - you are doing so well babe. Try to hang on a little longer and not POS just yet. Crossing everything that you start a roll of good luck for this thread

Rachel - you are so organised for Xmas. Can recall you did the same last year. Just dropped some stuff into the charity shop and saw cards for cancer relief. Thought of Aunty and bought five packs. So I am starting to get organised!

Angel - if you need cheap drugs around the London area then I have contact details for a cheap chemist in Shadwell - East End PM me if you want. I only found out about him after a cycle or two but he was way cheaper than Hammermsith/ARGC so we bought a lot of stuff from him. He thinks that the clinics are wrong to make money on us ladies - there are some good people out there too help us. He saved me lots of money. You need a perscription which maybe your gp/clinic can help with. Lots of different views about afterwards. I have laid down for 3 days. I have carried on as usual. Do what stresses you the least as Shantala says. The embies will stick if they are meant too.

Gill - hope that you are ok babe. Hugs. Have you made a decision about your next tmt?

Eimear - so sorry to read about your -ve. Take good care

Hugs to everyone I have missed. Tried to catch up as much as I could.

We are busy. SURPRISE. Dh playing golf. Then we are off down to near Brighton to stay with friends. Video set for Dancing and X Factor of course. These are really good friends so looking forward to seeing them all. It will be lovely. Finished double bcps on Tuesday. Finshed antibiotics on Thursday. Started AF and patches yesterday. Scan Friday. Will keep you posted.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Lots of Love
Carolyn

Hey everyone - how's it all going. I had a meeting with the counsellor at the clinic yesterday - which was helpfull. It looks as if I have to get a hysteroscopy done before my FET. Hopefully I'll be good to after Christmas. I've only one frozen embie left so I'm praying that it'll survive the thawing process - if not it's IVF number 2 :( .
Anyway enjoy your weekend everyone.

Peq- Can't believe you gave in and poas (well yes I can actually) but what a result. No chance of stopping you poas now. Did you hear back about the blood test? I've got everything crossed for you :) A line is a line after all. Sounds like we've got our first BFP in a while :D

I don't know what I'm doing this month yet. I didn't hear back from the nurse yesterday and didn't chase her. Decided to just go with the flow - if I don't hear in time to do anything this month then its probably for the best. AF arrived this morning so if Im gonna do another medicated iui this month I should start injections tomorrow. I'll ring them again Monday and if its too late by then so be it. I need a break and am not sure I want to waste more money and energy on another iui anyway. I'm thinking it might be best to move on to ivf now.
It'll be interesting to see what my cycle does this month without meds. Anyone know if having had meds might kick start my body into a routine? Wishful thinking I suspect  (my body doesn't know what routine is)

I've got lots of questions about ivf, most of which I'll save for if and when.... but does it have to be started on a set day in your cycle? or does it not matter if they down reg? how long does a cycle take? could I still get a cycle of ivf in before xmas?

Hi Girls

Steph - So hope the pink lines shines through brighter for you, good luck.

Su - cycle of ivf starts on the day of your af, first with nasal sprays then the last 10 days are injections, it takes about 6-8 weeks.

Eimear - Will let you know how my op goes on Tue, will they knock you out for it? Try to stay positive for your little embie.

Carolyn - Enjopy your weeknd in Brighton, its a great place, hope the sun shines for you.

Gill - Hope your ok babe, here is you need a chat.

JenB - Hope your chilling and getting pampered.

Me and dh went out shopping today---meant to be for Chrimbo presents and we bought none---only clothes for us---very naughty.

Just taking a peek at the ticker, cant believe i go in for op on Tuesday.

Out on the lemonade tonight  for the first time in months, so should be intersting.

Have a good weekend

JenD- I did take another POAS and got another faint line so I am guessing I didn't imagine things.

Su- OF COURSE I gave in....I have no will power! They usually don't do beta's but since I asked for a check up on my progesterone levels, they are gonna do one of those tomorrow too. I should have the results in the afternoon (my time). I am still wicked nervous though! I hope you get some answers on your cycle...I know it is frustrating that they don't call back...I was beginning to feel that way earlier but then the nurse called me from home. Do they have a 24 hr line at your clinic or someone on call? I'd be buggin em!!!

Jackie- they will do the beta tomorrow...but they usually don't. I should know Sunday afternoon....plus I will POAS again in the morning :) I have 2 left haha

Eimear- When is you hysteroscopy planned for?

I'm gonna go grab some lunch and check on the laundry...super exciting day planned here!
