Rmsm--
This is probably the hardest part of the whole thing--just waiting to see what the results are. In my case I got AF about 2 days before hand, so it was anti-climatic. I know that I wanted to be guarded a little bit just it case. But I have a good feeling about this for you.
I am hoping and praying that you get a BFP!!!! I'll be thinking of you and praying that you get good results.
Well, I'm back from my retrieval....21 eggs!!! It was not bad at all. I dont remember anything that happened once I got my IV My RE said they would be in touch tomorrow to let us know how many embryos we have. I am so excited and cannot wait to hear back on my little embryos

Jill what a great number I amd so happy for you I am sure you will have a nice fertilization count. Thanks for the wll wishes trying not to get to excited until the Dr. confirms but it gives me something positive to focus on for the rest of the week, Saturday can't come soon enough!

That's great you have so many eggs. Hoping that you get lots that fertilize!!!! Glad to hear that things went well and that you don't remember anything that happened--oh those drugs can be helpful. I'll be thinking of you the next few days. Finally in the home stretch!
I drive up to stay overnight tonight, have my retreival tomorrow. Only expecting 3 or 4 eggs, but I'll take whatever I can get. Will let you know how things go in a couple of days.

Hey everyone. I just took my first PIO shot and didn't even feel it. I am sure the site will get sore as the night goes on or even tomorrow morning when I wake up. Just wanted to let you all know that it wasnt anything like I expected Hope this eases others awaiting the PIO not to stress about it like I did

I had me ER today - only three eggs, so I guess I won't get my hopes up too high. And, I am sore, even my belly button is bruised - they must have had to work for the three eggs.
The problem was supposed to be my DH - but apparently, I have a problem too. I will not take my PIO shot for another couple hours.
Jill - congrats on your numbers - that is wonderful.

Snowseven, don't get too dissappointed...it only takes 1 and with 3 eggs, I am sure you'll get atleast 1 good embryo
The PIO shot is not that bad...still no pain. My ovaries are cramping a bit, but I guess that is from the ER.
Keep us posted on your embryos as soon as you hear. I will keep you in my prayers...as I am sure many others will too!
Just try to relax and take it easy.

Snow, I am sorry you are hurting but I am with Jill it only takes one with three you might have triplets! try to stay positive get some rest and take care of you right now.

Thanks so much Kbat. Unfortunately I got the bad news today with very little understanding of what went wrong. My doctors are both on vacation and I don't know what to do next. I don't think I have it in me to do this again right away. I'm 34 and have some time, but I can't dilly dally forever, especially with a history of endo. EVerytime i feel a little better about it...think of the positive things in life....I face the reality that's it's over for now and get really sad. I"m not with my husband right now and just want to cry in his arms. So I guess it's back to caffine, exercise, and fun vacations for now.
RMSM, so so sorry to hear the bad news I can't imagine what you are going through right now but you have all of us to talk with, try to stay stong I hope your DH gets back soon, lots of love and prayers.

RMSM - I'm so very sorry to hear your news. This is just one try of many and your baby will be here one day. I can't imagine what you are going through. For a normal couple conceiving through intercourse, they only have a 25% chance each attempt. Our odds are a little higher each time we try, so just focus on the fact your odds are greater with each attempt. Your BFP is just around the corner! I'm thinking of you during this time.
