Not sure whats wrong with me but can't sleep - maybe too much relaxing in the week .. for you ladies across the pond .. Champneys is a health spa .. where you go to get totally pampered .. my lovely parents thought it would cheer me up after BFN .. so relaxed when got back but due to bad planning had to work yesterday - feel like never been away now - oh well four more days at work then off for 2 weeks - and my week in the sun to look forward to

Eimear - Jen just had a hysterocsopy and I have had it done twice now. The procedure is fine and it is good to know that they are getting you in top top shape for yoir little frostie to come back home

Angie/ICSI - I am with everyone else. Love your posts. But you are barking mad!!!!!!!!!! Long time ago but managed to get tickets for my dh to go to the Amercian Football at Wembley. I decided not to go. Not really my scene. So he could take a pal., Even more brownie points for me!!!! And boy do I need them when I am mad hormonal lady most of the time. Good on you for kicking arse at work & beating up the men, You are clearly the ight woman for the job and that is all that matters. You go girl

Phew. Glad it is the weekend and a bit of a chance to recharge batteries. Last weekend with friends was good fun. They asked me enough about tmt to be bothered but not so much that it was over bearing. If only everybody could get it right for us. Busy week at work as you all guessed & have felt totally fine on the estrogen patches. Scan yesterday was good. Lining is at 8mm and no sign of any follicles or cysts. So all good. Send off mail to IM but no response so guess that I will hear nothing now til Monday. Trying to juggle work is a challenge. Have prepared them that I shall need some time off. Have some meetings over the next couple of weeks but nothing that cannot be cancelled/moved or they will just have to manage without me. Being realistic, I expect to hear the first half of the week, be over there by the end of the week for donor EC and my husband's TESA extraction (crickey). Then I expect ET will be around about next weekend. Sadly acu lady in Barcelona is away next weekend so trying to see if I can find someone else but may have to do without So bottom line is that you may hear very little from me for a while. We will only have 24 hours notice to get all flights and hotels sorted so all going to get a bit frenetic. I shall keep you posted through texts to the wonderful IM girls (Jen1d, Gill and JB) who I am sure will let you know what is going on with me, That said I shall probably still be posting next weekend!! We'll see. Just taking a day at a time and feeling grateful that I have this last chance thanks to someone elses kindness.

Hi everyone else, I will have to do other personals later. I am beat!

Just a quick (well quick for me ) note. I told my mom on Friday. It went well!!! Now she seems excited, not freaked out but not jumpin up and down screamin I'm gonna be a grandma...THAT would have freaked ME out haha. But it was good. Shocked at first, but then we sat down looking at quilting books looking for baby quilts, she kept telling me to eat my fruits n veggies all weekend, questions about the donor and other things. The funniest thing to me was we were talking about the plans I had for the room I'd use as a nursery...currently my guest room with a full size bed ("her room"). I suggested my parents take the bed (since most cribs convert) for their house...technically my old bedroom and at first she like that. Then she thought more and said hey you need that bed...where will I sleep when I come over to help!!!

She suggested to wait til I was further along though to tell my dad. Ok, so I will. But I feel good despite waiting a little while longer.

Ok I am ready for bed? I'm beat!

I still can't quite believe it BFP!!!!My beta of 13 dp fertilisation was a low 20 so bloods have been taken again this morning...I now have another 2-3 day wait until i find out if beta is doubling...
BUT...as I have been here at this stage twice before ( tho not in the womb) i know its a waiting game and stressing aint gonna help...
I HAVE SO MUCH HOPE and FAITH in this fighter embie...we are gonna make it x x x

You guys are truely fantastic thank you ...

Peq well done on informing your Mum...we are gonna wait until we get 1st scan over with... well donr hun x x i too am feeling tired all the time (TATT) s rest up while you can x x x
