Had a boring meeting and several beers last night to be able to cope with 6 pompous twats(scuse my french) - just suffering today - well knacked .. but no more work until the 26th.... yipee .. wish i could do sparkles!!!

A bit of pre holiday opampering tom and then off to Gatwick sunday for monday am flight - off to cape verde islands if anyone has heard of them ???? - just want the sunshine and lots of sex on the beach!! ( i mean the cocktail - lol)

Jen1d – don’t apologise for needing space – we all do over time, this process is so hard on us emotionally and physically and we wouldn’t be human if at times we can’t handle it. I sure can’t ! Hopefully you can focus on xmas and have a great time with DH and then start the new year a fresh.

Pumma – good that your numbers are going down – looked at your profile and boy haven’t you been through it. I’m not sure I would have the strength to keep going like you.

Jen B – know exactly what you are going through and how hard it is – sometimes wallowing in negativity is also good for the soul. Hope you have a relaxing weekend with the in-laws. let it all out and you know where we are if you need a shoulder to borrow.

Carolyn – hope DH isn’t suffering too much – but ouch ! Twice !! Still nothing compared to us ladies!

Wishfull – I’ve heard of cape verde – apparently the in place to buy property in the sun –still cheap ! So jealous but can’t talk as had my hols in September!

Follies have been playing up today but atleast I know there is something going down there – scan again tomorrow so hoping that they have sprouted a little. Then off to London for the day to this show called Spirit of Christmas ie one big shopping feast ! Not like Rachel and being ahead of the game but more like shopping for moi!! Starting to turn cold and so need a coat.

Getting dead tired so early to bed for me – life and soul of the party at the moment.

Angie (icsi girl): how are you? hope you are doing okay, after what happened with your little kitty. i am thinking about you and hope everything is well. i talked to the nurse yesterday, and it looks like i may do my ER during the week of jan. 7th as well, isn't that your week? love to hear back from you.

nimble: yeah, i guess it has been a tough road. when i moved to the US last year i thought i would only do one more cycle and then we got on this warranty program with at first three and now four fresh ivf cycles (the last one is free, my doc wanted to take the pressure off me for ivf #3, so he gave me a free cycle--that made me cry), so i guess i'll be doing at least 2 more and perhaps DE after that if it still has not worked out. my doc said that he does not know why it has not worked yet, he is very hopeful and was concerned for ivf #2 that i would have multiples; wouldn't that have been great? we are also looking into adoption, isn't that crazy. anyway, trying to do whatever i can, just like everyone else.

Wishful, glad works over sorry for your sore head but needs must. Enjoy the holiday, sounds fab. Did not manage a foreign holiday this year (must try harder)but may yet go for a late one before christmas.

Sorry to everyone i've missed, am thinking of you all.

As for me, staff member finally came back to work, so today is our day off, was very tired yesterday but feel better after a good sleep. Trying not to read too much into symptoms but keep feeling a little nauseous at strange times, never felt sick before (good or bad?). Got the sore boobs and odd cramps/twinges but had them before. Feeling very scared as the date gets nearer, petrified its going to be another chemical, may do a HPT on Sunday (official test day) as i have never had a beta large enough to show up, and i think it may help me deal with it. Going to Trafford centre after blood work on Monday to take my mind off the wait. So will let you ladies know as soon as i'm home.

ICSI - You're so funny about thanksgiving. We don't celebrate it here but I do remember learning about it at primary school. I actually played the part of the statue of liberty in the school play - just had to stand still wearing a pale green sheet (I never was big on speaking parts).

As you say 'if only it was as easy' as DEMANDING a BFP I'm sure we'd all have done it long ago, but I'll give it a try

Thanks everyone for the follie dances, they're sure working. I'm not quite cooked yet so not ready for iui tomorrow but have got a 14/15mm follie each side plus a few others around 9 to 12mm so got another scan Monday.

There are no frosties BUT SHE WONT NEED THEM.
Donor is 21yrs, not proven and embies are grade 9, 9 and 8.
