Hello Ladies
I'm knew to all this. I've just put info re me on the Introductions. I guess I am around the same time as you? I am on day 9 of Lucrin and awaiting AF. Denise are you similar timings to me?
Any tips to stop the bruising where I put the needle in? I think I may have sussed it out - all the leaflets say grab / pinch the skin then put the needle in - this morning I didn't and just stuck it in - no bruising so far!
Also does anyone get a teeney weeney air bubble in their syringe - even at the top after flicking syringe - I guess this is ok?

I still freak when I go to do the injection - the other day I put it in and pulled it out again - whoops! I know I know it doesn't hurt its just in my head!

When do you guys normally hop on and check posts etc. I'm in NZ so totally topsy turvy times. Hope we can travel along this road together?

Hi Jag,

Welcome to the site. I'm doing IUI, so I'm in kind of a different cycle then you.

Some of the girls ice the area first, and that seems to help.

I prime my needle first so I see a little liquid at the tip, so I know I'm not injecting air. I think the psychological aspect of sticking yourself is worse than actually doing it. It gets easier with time though.

The girls check the messages at all different times. I'm in Canada, so I'm in a totally different zone than most of the girls anyways.

Hey Nicki
:) Its good to let go once in awhile.. only you regret it so much the next day and swear off drinks completely :D Be as naughty as u can till af happens and then switch to being goody goody!!
I'm not sure drinking is good for a pregnant woman so have not indulged.. Too scared to ask the doc-Am sure will get a negative response anyway so..
Its been raining here in India- feel very low cause dh is not with me and the weather seems to bog me down..will be ok though!

Don't worry Smita, we'll toast one for you. Actually, not me anymore because tmt has started. But I'll enjoy through Nicki, she's almost starting too.

Yup, ticker is cycle day 5. I wanted to have something totally different this month for my ticker.

DH and I have spent the last few days at a concert festival. More his type of music, but I've been enjoying too.

Anyone else find a Scottish accent very sexy?

p.s. Today is needle day 3!

Hello Ladies!
Aaah...First things first, I am pretty much anchored now in Sunny Singapore 8) , where the weather is fantastic all year round. I was pretty much a rampant traveller and i must say, i've always had a spot in my heart for London, my home for some good years.

Ah well, I just started on Puregon last night, and i think the pen-syringe thingy is quite a cool device. Like always, it requires some getting use to. Emotionally wise, I think i'm doing ay-ok :P . However, i do get tired very easily most of the time now. No more late nite movies for me.... My appetite has gone down too...I find myself NOT craving for chocolates..yeah, CHOCOLATES!...me, a professed and condemned chocoholic!...Yipes!...Ooohh! .... Get a grip, Chanteq.

Hope you girls are doing better.
Love,
Wisecrack&SlightyLoopy Chanteq

Hey Nicki,
India is HUGE!! So there are parts where perhaps it doesnt rain as much..Again not too sure on that..think it rains pretty much all over during the monsoon.
We're(me&dh) both Indians- born and brought up here- but been in the middle east(in Bahrain)DH has been there for abt 11 years and me for almost 8 years now- after marriage- not too sure abt ivf etc there- as in about how good the doctors are..they kind of diagnosed my TB as a throat infection when I was coughing like crazy.. so, I came down to India(bangalore)where my parents are so I'll have support.
OK enough of life history..
So hope u all are ok.. Denise how goes it?
Chanteq- me chocoholic as well!!But I love the dark choc kind the best..and fruit and nut as well!ok- this is getting me drooling:)

Got a scan tomorrow.. keep wondering if the baby is still inside- I dont know if its a crazy thought to have!

Hello ladies hope u are all doing good. Ooh fruit and nut yum yum - nothing beats a Cadbury's dairy milk though! I do miss UK dairy milk chocolate - it tasts different to Kiw D Milk!

Smita thinking of u for your scan - exciting times!

Denise what was the concert festival? Good to have a break thats for sure.

Its been gorgeous weather here today - we had some more snow on the mountains so the ski people are happy.

Off to bed now to dream of mountains covered in dairy milk - fingers crossed for AF tomorrow then I know when I can take the gonal-f.

Take care ladies - have a good day!

Hello ladies!

Jag - the concert festival was classic rock - ZZTop, Randy Bachman(the Guess Who), Glass Tiger, David Wilcox, REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, etc.

More DH's thing than mine, but I had a good time too.

Smita, your english is fantastic - I just assumed you were part of the UK gals.

Chanteq, I use the Puregon pen too, very handy. The needle tips are so small, much easier than giving blood.

Nicki.... you're almost there!
