Angie, I suppose the nearest we have is the 'january' sales which start on Boxing Day (Dec 26th - do you call it that?).
Yes, I think the 2ww is harder than the treatment itself - too much time with nothing productive to do. I like to be doing not waiting
38,single.ttc with iuid
3 cycles 100mg clomid-BFN
2 cycles menopur-BFN
Nov 07 menopur-BFP!!
Ist scan 13/12 - 1 perfect heartbeat

nope - no boxing day here in the states :? which, for ME - is a good thing i guess as i think boxing sucks!! (no really - want me to tell you how i REALLY feel????) ha, ha, ha

and yes --- more on the 2ww.........i'll tell ya, i had the BEST PMA ever during my whole stimming process.....all the leading up to part of it all -- and i'm a pretty emotionally strong gal 8) not to say i don't have a good cry every now and again --- but i'm USUALLY able to keep my emotions in check at ALL TIMES.......i literally FREAKED OUT :? around 10dp3dt --- sobbing so hard/loud that i could not even catch my breath - my dh was so worried.....it's like all my bottled emotions just POPPED  i just knew it hadn't worked (which - i really DIDN'T)....is awful...... so how many hours til test time for you??? it is currently 3pm'ish in the afternoon where i am in the states....on monday.....and you???

It was about 10dpiui that my pma deserted me and its been really tough since then. No tears though - just feel like I want to scream and hit something every so often and really couldn't be bothered with work today

Jayne - thats fantastic news. You both must be over the moon. Congrats, and enjoy the next 8 months.

Su - best of luck for tomorrow. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Angie - that was some weekend huh? All set for Christmas already. Suppose you got the timing right though cause now you can take it easy and only have to think about your next cycle.

Nimble - hang on in there. You don't have too long to go before your test date.

Wishful - how was your first day back to work?

Jenbabes - you and DH seem to have done a lot of thinking. You've been so brave so far. Best of luck with your next cycle. You know we're all here to give you moral support.

Jend - Did you have a good weekend?

Carolyn - haven't heard from you. How are you holding up?

Steph - hope you feel better soon. When do you start your next cycle?

As for me, finally got the medication sorted after a long stressful journey!
My AF is due anytime now. I'm so apprehensive about it - especially the injecting. Looking at the syringes and needles makes me feel queasy. I'm kind of looking forward to it as we finally have started a cycle, but also nervous.

AND WE'LL ALL BE WAITING!!!!!!!   i still say YOU*GO*GIRL on the PMA....you've done so well.....and if not - then you've certainly put on a good front in your reads for us!

nimble - keep up the pma

Su 1 more sleep ..thinking of you and hoping for that much deserved STRONG BFP for ya x x x

wishful and Jen 1 thanks for the support..unfortunatly it is not just my age and adoption that is the problem ...its me!!!! i am a nutter...lol NO am joking... I would honestly be rejected from adoption as majorly i am unwell. I have multiple sclerosis an auto immune disease and i would be rejected on that factor ..i was in a wheelchair 2 years ago and could be there again , at any time so NO WAY would i be excepted on adoption scheme. Just cos i can be stable with my health. I would work with it and my own child. But i couldnt put that burden on a saved child..if you know what i mean. It isnt fair. x x
as a PS DH will not adopt... so whatever health wise i was we would not be doing adoption.

We will work it out our path and find a way through

love to everyone else
and thanks girls for your support x x x

hi gals, just a quick one as have in-laws here for the night and they will probably think I'm being rude!

Jayne - that is unbelieveable TWINS so exciting......whoopie!!!

ICSI - you are seriously mad woman!! 4am to shop - that beats me hands down.

Jenb - it sounds like you had a good weekend clearing out the cob webs and putting your hearts on the table - sometimes its good and atleast you know where you both stand however DH is right, your health is more important but also know where you are coming from if you don't try once more.

Carolyn - hope the gym worked well for you - I'm missing it like crazy but know it is for the greater good of a BFP!!

Angel505 - hey you will be a dab hand at all the injections etc in no time.

Su - come on babes, one more day - although know how you feel, I woke up yesterday feeling really tense and thought OMG its is PMT rather PMA!! Feel better today...and you girl, will be bringing some long awaited good news tomorrow.

STeph so glad you went to see the DR, it will get easier I promise - just hangin there (((((((HUGS)))))))))))

CarolynB - I won't ask how you are, as I probably can guess but hope your day at work wasn't too bad xxx

Hi to everyone I've missed - sorry this is a little rushed but you shall my undivided attention once again tomorrow, once they have gone :D

Hugs

ANGIE NOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CRUSHED MY HEART!!!!!!! I just got chest pains!!!! I love hockey too granted I no longer have a favorite team since Forsberg is home in Sweden, he just doesn't understand my heartache I guess! He also doesn't seem to understand my DS (donor sperm) request either....strange???

ICSI GIRL wrote:they've got me on loestrin -- which, until this round - i had never heard of before!!! doc's office actually gave me "sample packs" of those - i'll be on 1 full pack, skipping what would be normal AF week/pills and going directly into new pack for about a week (thus allowing them to manipulate my cycle around THEIR schedule -- gotta love it  ).........stop taking christmas day, wait for af to arrive and set appt for baseline scan..........and find out from there when i'll start stimming!!! 8) MAYBE WE'LL BE ABLE TO CYCLE TOGETHER!!!!! any idea on when your af is (maybe) supposed to arrive????
sorry I couldn't get past the hockey part...had to go back and reread :) yeh loestrin is purty popular, I was on it once but didn't really like it...you see the commercials for that loestrin 24 fe....that is THE one that gives you a 3 day or less AF....but there are older formulations. And it totally makes sense to do the back to back packs...when I was on BC I actually did that all the time...made my own Seasonale ( that is the one with the 4 times as year AF??) You really can do that with just about any BC so no it isn't weird...and it is great to manipulate around vacations too :)

I have no idea when AF will show up...I think i need to stop bleeding from this D&C first hahaha. They told me to expect it 4-6 weeks after, that is pretty normal....ok so it will probably be here in 2 or 12 since I'm so NOT normal!!! I did go pick up my clomid today though so that when it does start I am ready. I'd love for it to be here before Christmas...all I want for Christmas is AF...how is THAT not the oddest thing to ask Santa for???????

Nah Su we don't have boxing day...Canada does though. Personally I jokingly celebrate it though...only because I love hockey and hockey is Canadian...so maybe Angie does too hahahaha she claims to be a hockey fan
