Nims: good luck for tomorrow ... it will be a bfp!!!!!

As for me, i went back to the doctor's office yesterday and instead of having 2 large cysts i only have even larger one, but i guess it's non-functioning so i got the go ahead to start stims on 1 december, with a tentative retrieval date of 10. dec and transfer on 13. or 15. december. my test date however will be 24. december. omg, what do you think about that? i am not sure, perhaps i should wait till th 26th, but not sure if i can. i am pretty excited but also scared since i am not sure if everything is optimal, but i guess if the doctor thinks so, it is ....

sorry for the short message, but i just wanted to update all of you real quick.

Yeah we have the 12 days of christmas, but yet again, wise words of from across the pond, didn't realise the 6th was called an epiphany or is that an elephant??! God (sorry no pun), weren't they late showing up on the 12th day with the pressies, christmas had been and gone by then!

Jend - promise to keep my pups to myself ! LOL. Have fun at the candle party if you decide to venture out to the cold - personally i would keep pj's on and stay inside!

Pumma hey 24th test, what a christmas pressie to see that BFP. Excellent that they are starting you on meds.

Can't wait to hear your BFP!
Know what you mean about the bbs, I was prodding and poking mine a few days ago. They just feel like they're on fire now  No danger of getting cold - I've got my own built in hot water bottles
I'm confused by facebook too. I think I must be missing something as my friends rave about it but I just don't get it :?

Pumma - so please you got the go ahead to start. Know what you mean about testing 24th but what a fantastic xmas pressie to get a BFP :)

Wishful - Oh to have a job where I could work at home. I'm so jealous. Hope you sleep better tonight.

Steph - Thanks for the info on Boxing Day (no sport involved OK ICSI :D ) I've called it that all my life and never even thought about why its called that. Guess I just thought its 'cos you have so many boxes to get rid of by then
I only did one iui per cycle, my doc doesn't believe in doing 2. The only difference with this one was I had 2 follies and both were bigger than ever before. I definately think my state of mind had a lot to do with the result too - I felt really well both physically and mentally right through this cycle. The combination of meds, homeopathy, reading 'The Secret' and listening to relaxation cd all came together perfectly.
I'm on facebook too but a bit confused. How can I find you?

Jen1d - congrats on finishing the svq. Now you can really relax over xmas and focus on the adoption stuff and your next cycle.

Rachel - Good news about the scan. Not that I had any doubts but it must have been a worry for you. Now you can relax and enjoy the next few months

Becky - where are you? we miss you

Shantala, Jenb, Carolyn, Gill, Angel, Jayne and anyone else I've missed Image

You'll be pleased to know I've helped the poas manufacturers to stay in business and tested again this morning. The line was as dark as the control this time so that was reassuring.

I told my line manager as there's things at work I can't handle - she actually ran/skipped right around the dispensary  Everyone else thought she'd gone totally mad and I just had this huge grin on my face (again). Also, told a couple of friends at work that have been there for me throughout this so I've got a few volunteers I can call on to deal with the toxic stuff and lift things for me. I just need to avoid all the bugs going around when you work in a hospital  I can see myself getting through bottles of alcohol gel

I haven't told my parents yet as they've been so weird about me ttc. I really want to ring my aunt as I get on with her so well (and she asks how its going unlike my parents) but would feel bad about telling her before my parents so not sure what to do at the moment. My sister is thrilled - said she's looking forward to being able to enjoy a new born baby without the exhaustion of it being her own  I didn't bother to say that any of us on here would be more than happy to have that exhaustion.

Well first I was going to say they were late because they couldn't get a taxi, but then I thought maybe I'd say they were late because the elephant was slow...hence they didn't want to call it elephant day because the wise guys were so P.O.ed at the elephants I dunno maybe the fruit cake spoiled on the way?) they decided the elephants didn't deserve a day named after them....but Hallmark already put it on the calendar...good thing back then they didn't have spell check! Have I messed with yur mind long enough hahaha

Can't wait to hear about the BFP tomorrow!!!!

Su- I will send you my name for Facebook via PM. I think you can search by name under find friends...most of my friends there though don't know anything about my "secret" life haha, so just don't mention anything on my wall ok :) Anyone else on Facebook??? LOOOOVE IT!!! Good luck with tellin the rents! For me it was hard only because they didn't know what I was doing, I'm sure yours will be just as excited to hear!!! Definitely stay away from those Cat X at work!! Luckily there aren't too many, but it is scary. I inspect all the packages before I touch them- it is hard for me to pass off my work on someone else haha. I just immeaditly (dang I can't spell) scrub my hands after (I have a PCN allergy too so I am well versed in getting the cooties off haha). And you gotta love the germs...you are probably better off than most people since you are around the sickos all the time haha.

Pumma- sooo awsome they said you can start stimming!! You are on your way!!! OMG you are asking if you can WAIT 2 days to test!!!! Do you have WILLPOWER???? OMG I can't keep myslef from not testing 2 days EARLY and you ask if you can test 2 days late!!!! If I had your self control, I'd weigh 95 pounds!!!!!

Rachel- seeeee told ya!!! did you get another pic for the fridge????

Carolyn- I can't believe you let hubby win with the tree thing!!! There was one year while I was still living with my parents we went to cut our tree down....I picked out one, oh he was soooo cute. His name was Warren. Welllllll that was the last year I got to pick out the tree! Apparently my eye made it look a little smaller than well let's just say the door frame and the ceiling....ooops. I learned a lot of choice words that Christmas hehehe.

To everyone else hi!!! I'm so glad tomorrow is Friday and this is my weekend off! Of course the excitement of cleaning, laundry, putting up the Christmas decs (wooo lights and tree!!!), ooo and sleep! Just 7 more hours of work to make it through til I get there

Steph - found you on facebook and sent a friend request. Of course I won't mention your 'secret life'. The same goes for me please as most of my friends don't know either.

Have to say you and nims have totally lost it  Where did the elephants come from? I thought they rode on camels :D

So, I wake up at 5.30am this morning and needing a pee so much, tried holding on but couldn't so woke hubby up.....don't think i should have to go it alone...... and low and behold the line came up quickly and really strong.

Know that this the 1st step and we've got to get through the 1st scan, which unfort historically has not been good for us. No bloods for us so like Su in a way, might have to go and buy more POAS sticks just to make sure for the next day or so!!

However, that hasn't wiped the grin off my face this morning!!

Steph - may be they did take the elephants but didn't realise that they were slow walkers and they drank the wine on the way and spelt it wrong!!

You called a tree Warren?? :? How did you know he looked like a warren or for that matter it was a male tree??

Su, yep it's true we have lost it...but keeps us amused!!

I'm sure your parents will be over the moon about your news - perhaps they were reserved out of concern.

I've PM'd you both with my facebook name but same applies to me about this.

Carolyn - too right you should go back and get that tree, since when to they have a say in xmas trees - mine gets overruled every time!!

Jen how was the candle party - did you buy much??

Jenb - is it another shopping expedition this weekend with yr sister? See that you guys might be getting some snow this weekend.

Working from home today so no doubt will be back later.

nims xx
