Well girls, I made it in to work today. YEAH!! It's a good thing I work for my DH :) . The MS eased up a bit around dinner time last night. I still feel quite nauseous but nothing like these last three days. I hope this means it will be going away or at least subsiding a little. We have planned a cruise for Spring Break so I am praying that the MS continues to get better and does not get worse. I will be in the first week of my second trimester at that point so I should be okay as far as MS goes. I made sure to get the okay from my Dr. before booking the trip too.

I feel so behind. I have been looking in on all of you but have not been keeping up.

Hope everyone is well. Have a great day!!

21Bat- My symptoms come and go every day. Last night about 3 am I woke up to some cramping in a different spot, so it freaked me out. I finally went back to sleep but when I did, I kept having nightmares about going to the bathroom and seeing spotting. I would keep waking up and telling myself it was just a dream.

Geck- Yes, this is my first ultrasound. They have been testing my patience...lol. I'm with you...I need an ultrasound probably every other day to help me sleep better. I told my husband that we need to sell some stuff around the house(his stuff) and buy one... :D

So i was afraid to weigh myself because I just knew I had gained weight since my clothes look like they belong to someone else with the added stomach and I probably went up a couple bra sizes. I busted the zipper on my pants yesterday. When I got on the scale I had lost a pound or two...suprise. I guess my belly is really growing. I am not far from maternity clothes ladies...and it's killing me since I didn't want to start wearing them until like the 5th month. With my dd, I didn't need them until like the 5th or even the 6th month.

Thanks again for letting me share with you guys......

cincinnatidreams I have bad dreams like that all the time!!! It's awful. But, I wake up every morning and everything is okay! WHEW! I have bought bella bands. My pants aren't really fitting me too much differently but they feel different and buttoning and zipping them increases my nausea. I am wearing one for the first time today. It really is nice. Try that before you go to maternity. They are cheaper and you can wear them for quite a while into the pregnancy and also after the birth before you can actually fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes. They cost about $26-$28 a piece and come in all sorts of colors. I have two that even have a little lace on the bottom. I do need to get some new bras though. I hate bra shopping. I am already a big busted girl, I will have to go up to a DD now I think. They just don't make them very pretty at that size. You have about 60 clasps in the back and the straps are a foot wide  !!! I myself have actually gained about 4 lbs. I think it is all in my boobs  !!

Hoekey- I understand the bra dilema. I was a DD before pg. I will try the bella bands...I didn't know they made them with lace.

weezie- where have you been?
tammy- I saw a HB at 6w2d so I think you should be able to see yours!
21bat/tammy- some days I don't have any symptoms except maybe cranky, sleepy and some food aversions. My boobs aren't huge or sore. I think we carry over the 2WW habit of over analizing our symptoms! I wonder if non-ivf girls do this too?

anyone looked at maternity bras yet? Because my belly was so swollen I went straight for maternity clothes. So I think that I missed a step in there cause by the time the swelling goes down, I will be showing more!!

Rio: I didnt get to go to the clinic 1 day early due to the big snow/ice storm here in NE Ohio. It is an hour drive on good roads each way. We felt it wasnt worth our lives to risk it. So back to tomorrow. What is 1 more day? LOL I was having headaches, heartburn, acne, sore bb's, acute sence of smell, food adversions, etc. Now nothing. Just some crampiness, and moodiness. I feel more positive today, however, and think that everything is probably just fine. I am praying for healthy heartbeat(s) tomorrow. I ordered online some maternity clothes too and hope they make it in today. I am feeling pretty bloated still.

Hoekey: I bought a new bra last week. I am a DD now and think it is gonna be a Z before it is all over. LOL

Cincinattidreams: Did you guys get some of the lovely weather that we got here in the NE Ohio? I am so ready for spring. I, too, have been having such vivid dreams and crazy scary ones too. I hear they get worse as the pregnancy progresses.

Mbre: Friday is almost here. So exciting.

Tammy - I am so sorry you couldn't make it to your u/s today. What a bummer. It will make tomorrow all the sweeter though!

riogirl- I wish I needed maternity clothes! I am so excited to go shopping but seem to be fitting into my clothes just fine for now. My jeans are a little tight but I have lots of sizes (since I just lost weight) so I think I will be able to wear them for quite a while.

Hoekey - I am glad you made it to work today. You must feel better when you can do your normal routine. I sure do. And it keeps me from obsessing more than I already do  !

21bat - Don't worry about not having symptoms. Mine come and go all the time. I am told that is normal.

So I got my test results back from my 1 hour glucose test and it looks like I didn't pass  . The glucose level needed to come in under 139 and mine was 141! I get my test results on line and so far my RE has not called yet. She will probably discuss what this means at my next appointment next Tuesday. I think she may send me for a more detailed 4 hour glucose screening but am not sure. I am worried though. If I am already borderline gestational diabetes, what will the next 7 months be like?! I am forseeing a super strict diet and lots of extra doctor appointments.... Does anyone know anything about this?

Hi Everyone

Sorry I haven't been around lately but it sounds like everyone is doing pretty well.

Geckogirl - I hope that things are okay and that your high test results were some weird fluke. I know a friend who had gestational diabetes and she was absolutely fine - as you said, just a strict diet which she was okay with.

Tammy and Loopie - good luck tomorrow on your u/s. Let us know how it goes!!!!

Hoekey - glad you are back on your feet albeit with nausea. That m/s is a killer!

Cinci - A few times I have had the 'spotting' dream where in my dream I am convinced it is all over because I wipe blood. Then I wake up and thank the lord it was only a dream - of course I still get up and check!

I am anxiously awaiting my u/s appointment tomorrow. I can't wait to know how many we are blessed with so that we can start planning!!!

My symptoms have been up and down. Yesterday I hardly had any symptoms - other than being tired which is a constant for me. Today my left boob is incredibly sort and my right one barely sore (weird). My stomach is unbelievably itchy which my DH told me is because my skin is starting to stretch. I don't have to run to the bathroom as much anymore although I still get up once or twice each night. The nausea is sometimes there and sometimes not - mostly in the morning and afternoon (not in the evening). After tomorrow's u/s I think that these symptoms will become less important to me, except in so far as they impact my daily life.

Hope that everyone is doing well.

Kelly: Sam ehere with on and off symptoms!

Gecko: Oh I am sorry hun youhave to worry about this - I have no idea what it will mean - I assume a strict diet - maybe post a separate thread and see if anyone has experienced it so early.

Tammy: I am with you on smells. I was at the grocery store waiting in line and the next aisle over there was a mop and a bucket of cleaning solution and bleh it smelled so strong I thought I was gonna faint!! Cant wait to hear how tomorrow's u/s goes! I was 5wks 6 days - I could see a fluttering of the hb - but the RE wants me back in in 10 days.

Rio: No maternity clothes for me yet - I am trying to wear a couple of jeans that I have that were a bit big on me already and tose are working. For now I have 2 bras that I use when AF is here so those are wrking.

Hoek: Yeah I am 34 D - and i t is awful finding pretty bras! I cant wait to see my choices when I get to the DD size

Cinci: yeah I keep going back and forth between 2lbs every other day - kinda weird..

Well I have felt awful all day - light headed and nauseas - but happy! It took me forever to cook dinner cuz the smells! I am feeling guilty cuz I dont have a job and am doing nothing except cooking! I need a maid. I went and got a pedi and mani - feel soo much better :)

Hi Girls
MBR my first ultrasouns is on the 10th of march which seems so far awaymy doc likes to leave us longer to ensure we can see the heart beat
HOEKEY glad things are easing alittle for you boy a holiday would be nice wev'e booked a couple of days away at easter time over at frazer island which should be good my ms with ds went a away at about 11 weeks so not much longer for you now oh the bra thing you are so right i'm not small by anymeans either and i tell you it can become dangerous black eyes make sure you get strong ones you made me laugh with you discription of the bras so true so true
CIN love the idea of selling hubbies things to buy an ultrasound machine i think i would break my with over use but great idea i didn't really show until about 6 to 7 months either the belly bands are a great idea and helps keep you in some of the regular clothes for abit longer
TAMMY ultra sound today is that right hoping the best for you are you feeling better
GECK just something to keep in mind for when they test you next make sure you don't have anything particularily sweet to eat or drink before your actuall test it can give you a false positive my sister had had a couple of barley sugars before her test and it came back that she had it when she was retested she made sure she didn't have anything sugary and the test came back negative just something to think about goodluck
Kelly your dh is right about the itchy skin its just your bump getting bigger and the itchiness gets worse as we get bigger not unbearable though thankfully goodluck for your scan tommorrow.

Sorry ladies have to run will post late sorry if i missed you

Hi Girls,

Well the past few days have been uneventful (I think that's good). After my meltdown last week not much had been going on. I'm looking forward to the u/s on Thursday.

The weather in IL must get better or I'm going to gain so much wait very fast.
