Good morning!

I hope everyone is doing well today.

I guess most people aren't having too many symptoms yet, but I have been having nausea on and off for two weeks. The last few days it has been much worse, although I haven't actually thrown up...yet. I also get some stretchy cramps from time to time. They always make me worry but my doctor assures me that they are very normal. Oh, and this morning when I woke up it was like my breasts had doubled their size. I am really wondering who they belong to!!!! Yikes! I am feeling a little moody/crabby all of a sudden too. I guess that is from all the meds. Anyone else having symptoms?

Counting down the days until my u/s! I think we will begin telling people after we see the heartbeat. I want to wait until after week 10 when I go off the meds, but I know I won't be able to last that long....

Have a great day!

Hi girls! I figured I'll stay in between posts for October... I am still very cautious  I really don't have many symptoms, no nausea, little dizzy spells, no sore boobs just sore nipples. Huge belly but that's it, I almost wish I had more symptoms just to make sure. This wait for the u/s is a killer, I wish they took betas in between! My betas were 67 (10dp3dt) then 127/304/627 every other day. I am hoping for twinsies even though my betas aren't very high.

Congrats to all of us!

Hi Kellim, thanks for inviting me!

Hi Gecko girl! You are not alone with symptons. First off let me start by saying I am the one who posted asking questions about a 6 day blast! My dco told me i needed donor eggs and i will nvr get preggo, called me on day 5 said all of my 7 eggs arrested. Got a call on day 6, saying i havea blast! and what do you know he/she worked, my 3rd ivf try!
On 7dp6dt, I began feeling dizzy! this was also my beta day. So i did my beta and went to work to await for the results, and went to Duane Reade and what do you know! WAM! I almost dropped it in the tub! Beta came back at 50 on 7dp6dt and then on 9dp6dt it went to 321! I am no awaiting for my March 3rd week 7 ultrasound. I have the dizziness from time to time. Mt breast on some days are so so hard and and sore that i have to take off my bra. They feel like hot irons are on them... I dont have an appetite, but i have cravings for anything in vinegar..I feel like im a gag but never make it there. My mouth gets that watery feeling! My symptoms come and go som days are worse than others but so far things have calmed down. I actually wish they would stay, becasue for some weird reason i think the more symptons you have the better,( i know my reasoining sucks!)

Hi Everyone!!!!

I am sooo nervous & excited!!!! I keep asking my DH, "Is this really happening?" He smiles and says, "Yes, just like I told you it would!" It's just so hard to believe everything that's been happening inside of my body!

So far, my symptoms have been:

- VERY sore bb's & nipples, they feel VERY heavy & the veins in my bb's are bulging out...my chest looks like a road map of blue veins (sorry for the TMI!) And then the pain will stop for a bit and come right back again. (I've never looked/felt them sooo much in one day! LOL!)
- Migraines
- Extreme exhaustion, I'm lucky if I make it until 9:00 and I'm exhausted throughout the day.
- My mouth started out really, really dry right after the transfer and now it's been watering a TON!
- Aversion to the smell of coffee (I'm not a coffee drinker but DH is)
- All of a sudden I'm starving and I'm eating regularly.
- Dreaming in VIVID color like I've never dreamt before. It's like I'm having dreams in HD!!!!!! LOL!!!!
- Nausea/gagging the last 2 days when brushing my teeth.
- Twinges on both of my ovaries and uterus (dr. says it's completely normal).
- Gurgling noises from my lower abdomen.
- Watery discharge (sorry TMI)

I go for my 2nd BETA tomorrow morning and I'm nervous/excited.

I'm glad that I found this website because it's so wonderful to have an outlet to express everything that I'm feeling. And since I've found this site, I KNOW that I'm not alone and it's very comforting.

Prayers and baby dust to all of you!!!!! I'm looking forward to chatting soon!

Mbre- I am glad to know I am not alone with the weird symptoms! I have to laugh when you say you feel like your bbs are like hot irons! Mine are exactly the same. Ouch! Are you getting any cramping. That is what scares me the most.

Hey There!!!

Glad to hear that there are quite a few symptoms floating around - that is a good thing!!!

I am still feeling a bit nauseous but nothing to the extent of gagging when brushing my teeth - yikes! My boobs are getting sorer by the day - perhaps because I am poking them all the time. And I too am exhausted - 9:00 is my new bedtime. I splurged last night and stayed up until 10 although today I am a walking zombie.

Acapulco - good luck on your beta tomorrow. Have they scheduled your u/s yet?

Mbre - glad you found us!!! have you calculated your EDD yet?

Rio - I think twins pop up in high and low beta numbers so don't presume that possibility is gone! They definitely could still be in your future. I guess you'll find out next week!!! I am hoping for twins too!

Geckogirl - I agree with you, I was hoping I could wait a little longer to tell people, but I think after I see the heartbeat(s) I'll want to announce it to the world.

Do you all get referrals from your IVF clinic to your OBGYN? or do you have to find one on your own? Since I did IVF overseas I have kind of fallen between the cracks. My old IVF is doing my betas and u/s but then I think I'll make an appointment with my regular doctor for my referral. I suppose I'll wait until after my u/s so that she knows whether I should go to a high risk OBGYN or a regular one. Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Hey Kellym

Thank you for the good luck wishes! I'm very nervous! I'll find out tomorrow when my U/S is. I'm very scared/excited about it. I think all and all, I'm just one big ball of nerves in general right now.

As far as my OBGYN, I have been going to the same one for a few years now and my RE said that after the U/S, they will send info to my OBGYN.

Okay, I have caved. I wasn't going to make the leap until I had U/S confirmation but I am so excited about what I am reading. Plus I really feel pregnant.

I have less than a week to the U/S and things are going well, so I am going to have a PMA. I have decided that posting on this thread is definitely NOT a jinx. It's more like KNOWING I am really pregnant and not being afraid to get excited about it.

So, I hope that I am welcome over here, but will still be posting on the other side. Hopefully to help those who were nervous like me get excited!!!

Have a great day girls!!

WOW - it is great to see this post thriving! Soon we need a list of u/s dates and singletons/twins/triplets and due dates!! :D Anyone been to the "Jan / Feb Cycle buddies" post can see I am the list girl! Otherwise it is hard to keep track of so much good news!!! Reading about all the symptoms I kinda wish I had more symptoms! Crazy, I know! I am just so excited to share this amazing time with you girls.

Jumping ahead - have you girls decided on amniocenteses or just doing Nuchal?

Much healthy pregnancy dust!

Hoekey- Great PMA!!!!! I too was a little nervous about jumping into this thread but figured all is going to be well so I should just start enjoying and trusting it.

Acapuco- Good luck tomorrow with your appointment. Let us know how it goes! I know what you mean about being a big ball of nerves. I feel on edge quite a bit too. I think it is because of all we have gone through to get here. Think positive!

Kelly- I am using a clinic that is affiliated with my regular ObGyn so I think they just send all my info to my ObGyn when the time comes. I will get a calendar when I go to my u/s on Tuesday that shows when my second u/s is, when I start to taper off the progesterone and estradiol, and when I should start seeing my regular doc. I am not really sure how long I will be seen by the IVF clinic.

riogirl - As far as amnio, I don't think we will need to do this. I used donor eggs and my donor was only 23 years old so the chances of downs is very low. I am thinking that we will only do the nuchal test. I am not really sure how many tests they do or what they are for. I am in totally uncharted waters now!!!
