Carolyn, I just saw from another post that you may be birthing your babies any day now.... I wish you the best of luck with your natural birth plans - hopefully that goes well. Regardless, thinking of you over the next week or so.... check in when you can!

How's everyone else?

I am still hanging in, just getting the regular, somewhat painful BH tightenings - more and more frequently. But, baby is still soooo active. I thought it was supposed to be running out of room, but it shows no signs of that... ;) I don't sleep much during the night anymore, though. That's pretty much permanent. :) I don't mind, I can finally nap during the daytime here and there!

Hi Ladies!

I can't believe that none of us have babies yet! It is going to be very busy here at the end. It does look like we may have some activity soon!

It won't be me though. I am holding steady. Nothing new, no dropping. I feel huge, but I think my little guy is just baking away. The entire pregnancy I have not had one moment of sickness until the last two weeks. I had the 'lovely' stomach bug going around my area. And now I have a screaming sinus infection. I should count myself lucky though.

Sleeping is a challenge. My hips and pubic bone hurt so much that it is really hard to get comfortable. Doc says it is just my body getting ready for the big day! My little guy is also so active. I have my Strep B test next Friday, then I start going once a week. Nursery and his clothes are ready. I plan on packing my bag this weekend. Getting so excited!!

I am pulling for all of you to have fast, painless, joy-filled deliveries!! I can't wait to hear all of the good news!

Hi Ladies!

SHE"S HERE!!! Mesa Alice was born yesterday (Feb 4) at 8:22am. She weighed in at 7lbs 1 oz, 20 inches. She's perfect! I have to admit, I can't believe how easy the c-section was. I'm ready to go home now and it only been 30 hours. I feel soooooooooo blessed! She is a champ at breastfeeding and is helping me figure it out (I didn't b/f with my first because of my kidney failure.)

Big brother Hendricks has been wonderful with her. Always wanting to hold her, asking tons of questions, imitating her every move. It is priceless. DH is doing great too. He's on diaper duty and "keep mommy happy" duty.

Anyway... sounds like you are all doing well. I pray for your safe and healthy deliveries! It will be so soon for all of you. I can't wait to hear your news!

Julie - congrats on your baby girl!

Sabi - I hope everything goes well for you this week.

As for me, I'm still holding steady. Will be at 36 weeks tomorrow. Baby is already estimated to weigh over 8 pounds, so OB has been preparing me for a C-Section. We have another U/S scheduled for 2/22/10 to check his size to make a final decision assuming he does not decide to come before that. I just can't believe I have made it this far. We are getting so excited and just can't wait to meet our little boy. He is still very active as well. I don't feel near as many big jabs, but I feel alot of what I would describe as controlled movements. He also has one heel that he likes to use to push against my sternum/ribs.

Sending best wishes to all of you as we near the end of this journey. I hope you all have smooth deliveries and perfect, healthy little babies.

Good luck Wishfull. Just think of those beautiful babies on their way to meet mummy.

sabi - hope all is well with you. Let us know.

Julie - congratulations mummy and daddy. Lovely name.

I can't believe everyone is having babies already. I am finishing work in 3 weeks and can imagine this one being late but we will see. I have just started to do my hospital bag but the list the hospital gave us is huge and now the bag I was going to use is too small, uhhh! DH is going into the loft this weekend to see if we have any other bags.

Good luck all, hope to see some pictures soon of your precious babies.

Congratulations Julie!!!

And.... Sabi? And.... Carolyn?

Please update us!!!

I couldn't access the internet for a few weeks and look what happens in the meantime!!! Wow!

Angie, I am with you.... my LO is happy to just hang and keep enjoying the great food and view (?). I, equally, am quite happy to have it inside me still for a few short weeks instead of outside me - so many things are still so much easier right now!! I do have pain and haven't really slept in weeks and weeks, but that's okay. Somehow, being so close makes it much more bearable! Baby is in great position, still flipping, kicking my ribs (ouch!), poking and tickling quite a bit, and lower but not engaged fully. This stage is kind of fun. Hahaha.... of course, I can say that knowing it will be over soon, too.

Best to all the rest of you - please update with stories and pictures as soon as you can, and positive labour thoughts to all of you out there!

I am sooooo bored waiting on this kid! I am out of work and feeling too big to do much around the house. Everything is ready to go - just need the baby! Do you think it is bad that I am going to beg my doctor to strip my membranes Thursday?? I just feel like I am getting bigger and bigger and I am scared to death of pushing a huge baby!!

How is everyone else doing?

Daisy - I don't think its bad at all. In fact at my 39week appointment I have been told I will have a membrane sleep to try and bring on labour, so don't worry.

Someone walked into my front today quite hardsoI have been being monitored at hospital most of the evening. everything is ok though so thats a relief.

Hope to hear some updates soon
