Best of luck to all of you in your third trimester ... healthy and speedy deliveries! Remember to make the most of this moment by going out by yourself and with your hubby as much as possible ... you'll truly miss that once the baby arrives =) Everyone told me that, but we were too preoccupied to get out. Now I wish we would have. A simple trip to the grocery store alone is the equivalent to going to Disney World for me now =) Sounds crazy but it's true.

Hugs!
Kelly

BigJ, So sorry you are feeling so yuky. It must be wierd to feel so bad and so good all at the same time! WILD! Yes, I will keep you company, even though I feel a little awkward over here.

My sweetie asked me yesterday how I'm feeling about everything and we had a long talk about how I am keeping a tight grip on my excitement. He has been thinking that I was feeling dread and I corrected him. I've been reserved about the possible reality of being pregnant in a few weeks because I'm afraid of disappointment if we fail. Come to find out, that hadn't even really occurred to him - failure.

He got teary eyed when I explained about some of the heart-wrenching disappointments some of my IVF friends have endured this past year. We talked at length about how any of those fates could await us and how would we deal with it. It was a good heart-to-heart.

I think his eyes are a little more open now. Might not soften the blow much, but it can't hurt for him to be better aware of all the possibilities.

Another reality that hit him was that if we get lucky and get pregnant this first round, I will be 45 when the baby is born - 45!!!! It's like he still thinks of me as 39 (the age I was when we met).

Okay, enough from me. I'm not even pregnant and I'm rambling on and on over here. Is it really just down to you and me, BigJ, on this board?

Seeing as I should really be over here by now if it hadn't all fallen apart, I might pop on from time to time to keep you company...

Congratulations to Alette - giving us hope that it IS possible...

Well hello Randa, BigJ and Debbie,

I just couldn't resist having a peak to see how everyone's coming along with their pregnancies/treatments. Suddenly, reading your posts has got me all excited, especially for you Randa as your transfer date gets ever closer. :) It's been a long time coming, hasn't it but I will keep that PMA going for you across the pond and wish you and your DH all the very best for Feb 3. You were superb company on our Over 40 Thread last year for me and many other ladies. Hugs x

Big J - happy pregnancy days to you and good luck with your scan coming up. Take care.

Debbie, hope the pregnancy is going well for you. I read an earlier post that your due date is in April. All the very best to you and your DH.

Much love to you all
Sharon x

Hey BigJ,
This thread has grown way too quiet don't you think? My fear is that it will continue to be only you for a few more days yet (come on Debra), as I feel HUGE af signs.
I had my premenstrual migraine yesterday, which is the surest sign AF is on the way.
I am surprised at how okay with it I am. I'll still test on Friday, but I'm already geting my mind around round #2. :D
My goal is to join you before you give birth - how's that?
Debra, however, is hot on my heals, as you know, and will surely be joining you on the 21st!!!!
How are you this week? Everything still okay?
All My Best,
Randa
