Stephjim: sorry your cycle got cancelled. i had a large cyst, 20 mm, when i started this cycle but it was "non functioning", meaning my estradiol levels were normal, so they started my stims anyway. when i went in for my follie count, they then could not tell anymore if it was totally gone or one of the follies. now, i am on my 2ww and will test on monday. all my hormone levels seem fine, but initially i was really worried about the cyst, but again, in the end it did not matter. not sure why they cancelled your cycle, perhaps your hormones were slightly off?? i am really sorry, but i pray that you'll be able to start again soon.

hello to everyone else. sorry i have been pretty busy here at work, but i have been thinking about all of you and stopped in to read your posts.

Merry Christmas and i'll keep you posted.

HI GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!! can you believe that i actually had the patience to sign on from home???? (where - for those of you who don't know - i only have dial up internet and is SUCH a pain in the arse to just log on and READ let alone post!!!) but here i am!! settling in for the evening and just had a burning desire to come check on my lovelies

awwwww nims --- didn't mean to make you feel old --- i sorry  was only teasing.......really i just loved the "tut-tut-tut" part....is yet another thing that we don't say over here and another reason i love your reads!!! can i just say --- HA-HA!!!!! no supermarket for me tomorrow!!!! i'm already done with that!!! yeah-for-me!!!! oh yeah --- as for the 3am bit, is just kinda "our thing" --- ya know???? sometimes if i don't get it THEN -- it may be weeks before i get it again and we wouldn't want that now would we??????

steph --- oh what fun --- a new puppy!!! and a rottie, wow....BIG doggy!! whats his name??? that will keep ya busy on christmas day! can't believe you did the dog show circuit thing!! wow!!! is pretty cool if ya ask me.....hell even if you DON'T ask me - i think its pretty cool!!! we have an airedale terrier and he's 75lbs and i call him moose dog (murphy)---- and i'm sure the new rottie will outweigh him!!! ok --- now down to business already --------- where is your AF??? this damn wand better start doing what its supposed to else i'll have to turn it in for new one come 08!!! ***SWISH-SWASH*** bring it on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i went for my baseline us/bw today --- this is really the most exciting part of the whole treatment....all the anticipation....the excitement..... is the BEST!!!! anyway...........my uterus lining is "beautifully thin" just as they hoped it would be  and i'm starting all my stims tomorrow!!!! dh is quite pleased that he gets to start poking me again!! :P

ok --- gotta go......not like steph at all in regards to being a night-owl --- no-sir!!! i'm quite the opposite actually........turn into pumpkin at the stroke of midnight!!! ha-ha-ha-ha!!! is the "calm before the storm" right this moment..........tomorrow starts the excitement that will not stop til after christmas --- SO, will try my best to pop in!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Ladies-

Glad to hear everyone is getting all their Christmas preparations completed. I just got home from a little shopping... geez. I'm not a fan of shopping, especially when there are so many people!! I get germophophic like crazy. Spritzing hand sanitizer every 5 min! ewh! Plus, people here are just RUDE (I'm a southern girl by birth, still getting used to the DC way of life) :?

Stephjim - Hon, so sorry to hear about the cancelled cycle. I wish I knew more about the IUI process. I'm with Nimble, though, is there anything they can do to help it sort of move itself along, absorb or otherwise go away? I'm still so amazed by all the things they CAN do, it somehow seems like they should be able to do that, but maybe I'm just wishful thinkin'. Maybe you've got a little women's intuition going on and a natural BFP is on it's way!! I love that you got to experience that with your step-daughter!! I bet that was a cool experience for both of you. I have 3 stepsons... different story. Unfortunately, we told them about pregnancy before the m/c, we didn't want them to feel left out, plus I was nutso with M/S and hormonal... and they didn't/don't know anything about the IVF procedure (unless their crazy mother has told them - speaking of nutso). ICSI, I'm 100% jealous of your good relationship with the ex. Mine is certifiable. Girl, the stories I could tell would (as my mom used to say) make your hair curl. Not pretty. She has a tendency of teating the boys as if they are her peers ( ) Frightening. So, that being the case, we told her BEFORE we told them, so that she wouldn't put thoughts of infidelity in their heads since she's obviously aware of the vas. Anyway, in the stepkid/ex-wife department, I hope you all are much more fortunate than I. I wouldn't wish that on ANYONE.

Steph - I was the one who wrote about The Office :) The girl you saw was Meredith, and I seriously hope you're nothing like her, she's kind of the office alcoholic/drunk slut  Not at all how I've pictured you, my friend! Kelly is a little ditsy and materialistic, but the more appealing overall of the two. ;) I LOVE Office Space. That movie cracks me up everytime. We have a guy in our office whom we've dubbed Milton (the stapler guy) because he keeps getting booted to a worse and worse office. Now, he's in the most distant corner office of the building with no windows, it's practically a broom closet. Poor guy. Very cool about the new pup!!! Moose is a GREAT name! I'd love to see pics!

ICSI!!! Congratulations on the arrival of the witch! She finally showed her wicked face! YAY!! If early morning business works for her, I may have to keep that in mind in a few weeks!! My DH used to get up that early, but he works evenings now - he'll be just getting home from work! Enjoy your Christmas while you're starting stimming. :) :)

I went in for my 2nd post D&C beta today. Good news, it's down to 46 (from 500 1 week ago). My nurse was encouraged. I won't go back until Jan 2, so I'm hoping for an "ALL CLEAR" by then. Then I can get on the AF Dance bandwagon! Doc says we'll wait for AF when we get to <5, which she anticipates will be about 4 weeks from that point. We'll see.

This may be my last post for a few days also. Tomorrow, the craziness begins! My stepsons are arriving as well as my SIL from out of town. Then we'll travel to my folks house and back to our lakehouse for Christmas day then back to my folks to help care for Sassy for the week after Christmas. I sometimes feel like all we do is travel! Unlike the 5 min distance you have ICSI, dh's ex lives 3 hours away. Fortunately it's 45 min from our lakehouse and 2 hrs from my folks, and it's on the way to both. I'm looking forward to Christmas, but a little sad too. I had one of those days today that I saw babies or preggies everywhere I looked!! I thought, is it in the freakin' water and I just can't get a drink!?! I'm going to visit with an old friend while at my folks that I rarely see, and she's pg too. She had a m/c over the summer, so she's totally understanding, but it's hard b/c she's due 2 weeks after I was. As you all well understand, I'm SOOO happy for her, it's just sad sometimes. :( Oh well, I'm not going to sign off on a sad note...

Here's to a wonderfully blessed and merry Christmas to each and every one of you!! (I feel like Tiny Tim) And may 2008 bring us ALL BFPs AND beautiful, healthy babies!!!!

You won't believe this but his name is MOOSE!!! hahaha tooo funny! They are calling him Mo, but I'm calling him Moose. And my Corgi's (yup the Queen's little heel biters!) is MURRAY...close to your Murphy hahaha We are long lost sistas!!!

So glad your baseline is good! Creeps me out to think of shoving that thing up there during AF...you SOOO couldn't pay me enough to do that job! Trust me...I'm working on the AF thing, but the cursing isn't working so I better try something else!

I'm freezing my tatas off and need to go to bed....it is past Angies bedtime! HAHA it was past Angie's bedtime hours ago. I'm so jealous of all the girls out of work now for days...I still have 22 hrs of work to go :( booooooooo

I wish I could make really cute bling blings on here....so this will have to do

MERRY (OR HAPPY DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE) CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Gooooooooooooooooooood Morning lovely ladies :D

Hope u are all doing well - glad to see this is still the busiest thread on the 'NET'
This is just a quickie to wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year lol - dont want to confuse u all with Happy and Merry - sod it - have a good one anyhow

I finished work yesterday - untill 21st Jan - whooooooooooooooooooo how cool is that!!!!!! But i do have to go into hosp for a small 'op' on Jan 3rd, so wont all be a bed of roses lol ....

So yesterday was my last ever day at work (as u know im moving to a new place in the new year) oh it was sooooo hard to walk out the door, i go sooooooooooooooo many prezzies i was gobsmacked, i got vouchers, smellies, more smellies, tins of sweets, wine, and some of the stuff i havent even opened yet - just placed under my tree - and then this morning i was woken by a bang on the door  Only Inter bloody Flora man brining me the hugest bunch of christmas flowers i have ever seen, wishing me luck in my new job, with love from everyone at work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am gob smacked (funny for me lol) It's lucky they didnt give them to me yesterday, or i would have protested and chained myself to the office door lol. Im really gonna miss working there :( But as they say (in the next breath) onwards and upwards ---------->

Last shopping day for me today - i wont go to the shops on a Sunday (day of rest and all that!!) and Christmas eve im staying in and having a pj day to sort everything out for my dinner. We have the inlaws comming and DH's brother, so i was watching (and writing everything down) Jamie Oliver last night - OMG! I hope my turkey comes out like his - it looked lush, oh and the mince pies he made - phew, to die for! So im gonna be busy lizzie today, tomorrow and xmas eve, if i dont get a chance to come in ladies, i just want to wish u all a Fantastic Christmas, i hope Santa brings u all what u want, im truly blessed to have my family here with me, i am so grateful for that - have a wonderful time whatever you are doing, will be thinking of u all .....

Thanks guys for all the encouragement. I will give the doctor's office a call next week after the holidays and see if there is something else we can try. They will probably, at this point, say wait until next cycle and if it is there, do something. I will definitely demand some kind of hormone check at that point.

I am so glad to hear about AF's arrival ICSI. Steph, I am sure Santa is going to bring her down the chimney to you tomorrow night.

BFP's for all!!!!
