bluemoon and narly both have beta coming up soon ...fingers crossed for the bfp,s . i like to think that us june buddies are extremly lucky this month !
Lisa - i am so curious have you taken another test or taken the digital yet?
are you ladies still resting <or just taking it easy in general,that is what im doing ,just nothing to stressfull or strenuous ..not sure how to spell that hahaha.
tdf - how are things looking have you taken another test?
afm- i had to go pee in the middle of the day and that dang digital ept just jumped right in! well of course it was neg for now...still too soon.silly me i just cannot seem to stop ....mayby we should start a hpt annonimous support group...hehehe

Millersmommy - I did use my digital HPT this morning and it said PREGNANT. I am now 10 dpo and I am suppose to have my 1st beta on Tuesday the 22nd, which doesn't make sense my clinic waits to do it 17 dpo. I think I am going to call my regular ob tomorrow to get one and then do it again on Friday. I really need to know the numbers are rising. If the numbers were doubling, then it would feel more real. But in the meantime I will keep poas since I am an hpt addict and I should probably join your support group

TDF - I had my ET on Thursday the 10th with 5 day blasts.

Can't wait to hear updates from those who will be poas/doing betas this week!!!

On another note...I just read that taking pepto bismol is bad for you when your pregnant and I took it over the weekend when I was sick. So now I am scared I did something that will cause this to have a negative outcome. If it's not one thing, then it's another thing to worry about in our crazy infertility world.

lisa - first of all yyyaaaayyyy on the +++++ i know you dont feel like you are out of the woods yet ,but that sure deserves a great big WOOHOO ! it is definantly always something we should or shouldnt do, some of these things i read just seem so out there though...no pepto bismal ,and is that for all ladies trying to get preggers or just us ivf ladies?
that is so crazy that you RE is waiting that long my goodness i have never heard of that long of a wait .mine is 11 days!!
anywho congrats again. oh btw how did you break it to the hubby? last time i had a pos test i was just so excited it was pos that i couldnt wait to be creative and just sent him a phone picture of the hpt.
this time,god willing it be + i want to try to do something a bit creative in telling him

any of you ladies have any creative ideas for telling the hubby its a +?
i thought about buying a cake ...ice cream cake of course and having them write on it >>happy fathers day ,btw you have more on the way<<<

Lisa- that is so great. so happy for you and your BFP!!! you have me so anxious to POAS. I think you and millersmommy have talked me in to it. im gonna wait til friday when my hubby is gone. if its positive then i want to surprise him in a creative way. not sure what, but something memorable.

annpage-strength and positive thinking will get you through. it has gotten me through 3 failed clomid cycles, dealing with my pcos diagnosis and everything else my cycle has handed to me and my husband. every needle poke, blood test, ultrasound and procedure. keep us posted, it really helps to connect with other women who know exactly what you are going through. have faith.

lisa! Congratulations! How exciting for you.

I am curious, how many of you have or will have a 3 or 5 day transfer? I'm going to a new RE that usually does day 3 transfers but the last place I went did day 5. I personally am more comfortable waiting till day 5. Anyway, just wondering what you will all be doing.

millersmommy- You asked about ways to tell DH...I thought I would chime in from the May board. DH already had an idea because I was acting very unlike myself, napping a lot which I NEVER do. Anyhow, he was late from work and I got bored and POAS. It came out BFP immediately. I put the stick in a plastic baggie and wrapped it in a box with cute heart wrapping paper. I got out our best crystal rocks glasses and set out a bottle of Jack Daniels. I had the present, the crystal and the Jack all sitting on the kitchen counter when he walked in the door. He loves presents...I mean who doesn't? So...that's how I told him. I poured a Jack and coke for him and then let him open his present. He keeps getting more excited by the day. It's been 11 days since I gave him the stick. We got our first beta the next day. I know a lot of people say not to POAS but I just wanted a little bit of normalcy in what sometimes (for me) feels so clinical.

Millersmommy - the pepto restriction is for everybody. There is something in it that is also found in asperin (which is a huge no to women pregnant). What I read said it increases chance of miscarriage and birth defects. I know there are alot of things we are told not to take...but when I read about something that I took just as I'm implanting, it scares the hell out of me. As for suprising DH. The last time I didn't do anything creative because I ran out the bathroom screaming with the BFP on HPT. This time I promised...and promised....and promised myself I would do something creative...and again I did not. I was too excited to wait and just basically let him see the stick without anything more. Oh well!!

Mellow - My first IVF I did a 3 day transfer because the embies were not doing well, dying fast and dividing slow (they were surprised with my bfp). This time, they made me go 5 days because on day 3 they all still looked good. I have mixed emotions because I wanted them in me as fast as possible, but then again, it was nice to know which one/two were clearly the best by day 5.

lisa, I am right there with you on the transfer days. It's hard to know what is the better way to go. Also, I have wondered about the aspirin, why do they prescribe it for our cycles if it's bad to take while pregnant, it's baffling. Anyway, looking forward to getting the show on the road, starting stims tomorrow. On a low dose at 150 with a menopur each time, anyone else on a low dose? I am notorious for OHSS, so they keep me low.

AFM - I am still taking it easy took another test yesterday and it was negative I will admit I was very sad about it I know it still can be too early but not sure what to think!!!! So scared to get another BFN!!! I have talked myself all day out of taking another one...will try again tomorrow!!!!

Mellow - I was told that many doctors will not prescribe aspirin for people who are trying to get pregnant and if they do, it is the really low dose kind (also referred to as baby aspirin). My REs and regular OBs avoid it if all possible. From what I understand, it can really affect implantation, as well as other things.

TDF - I am crossing my fingers for you. I really want you to see the + on the next hpt you take. Baby dust!!

lisa, that is so strange. I am on a low dose baby aspirin starting tomorrow, I don't know for how long. My last IVF cycle I was on baby aspirin for 10 weeks, and my OB told me I could stop taking it. I don't really know what it's for either...maybe I should ask. Ha, novel idea!

mellow - i too am on baby aspirin. started on day 1 of stims and supposed to continue thru beta, had not heard that aspirin could be bad???

just wanted to give a quick update - first stick & stir today and e2 came at 332 - they only measured follies that were > 7 and I had 8 on one side and 6 on the other, but they saw a total of 22 including some smaller ones. grow follies grow. still on my same regimen, 3 vials of bravelle, 2 vials of menopur & more to come on fri (and i received all my meds today, yay!).

Hi ,ladies
I had my ER yestarday 24 follies,but 5 were not mature,then 15 fertilise and now i wait
Tomorrow they will call me with updates
They didn't say anything good ot bad? how the embies are doing usually?do u guys know? when they will know which day will be the transfer?and my linning is kind of thick anyone have the same problem?
I am so excited for all of you getting the positive HPT and betas
What is your experience with the progesteron shots?
