Wow, I haven't checked the thread since Friday and its already grown so much! I am a bit ADD so I hope I don't forget someone!
Welcome all the newbies!!
As for me I started bravelle/menopur yesterday...the injection is the same as lupron but it does burn going in.
I was in church yesterday just fine and I started having a crazy hotflash (i guess from the rising E2?) and I thought I was on fire!! My DH said it was the devil sweating out of me. (haha) I am having some bloating and pressure in my lower belly but its not bad.

DrJen- My DH is a personal trainer too...are you sure we aren't long lost twins or something? I'm sorry that you have had such a stressful week but I am glad things are looking up! You work 10 hr days?! No wonder you have crazy stress! I work the normal m-f but my staff knows as soon as that last chart goes to the office I am out the door!

sameera- congrats on the successful ET! Sticky baby dust to you! That is too cute they gave you the petri dish....I would soo keep that for the baby scrap book!

Amber- good luck with the stimming! Its not bad at all, it stings a bit more than lupron but the needle is the same. what meds are you using?

Jeanie- good luck with ER!!

dri-jim- if you start that football thread let me know i'm sure my DH will jump on it!

I probably forgot someone sorry!! Ill try to keep up more often!
God Bless you all!

Amber28...I started stimming yesterday. I use a Follistim pen to inject the medication, I actually find it to be much easier than the Lupron needle. but all in all, the same. Best of Luck!

sameera wrote:Wohoo!!! I'm so happy today but cramping and bloated really sucks :( but I don't plan to let that ruin my enjoyment.

I went this morning for my ET at 8:15am they transfered two 8 cell embryos, which my RE said were awesome and good- so my babies are finally home and safe. Now all they have to do is stay cozy and stick, grow~~~ ;)

my RE gave me the petri dish that my babies were in this morning after my procedure - It brought happy tears to my eyes because, me and my DH both came very long way emotionally and physically with this IF journey.. and we were very happy with the everything!!

Now I join the dreadful 2ww lol but I am gonna stay positive and wish for the best :)

Btw FYI lol I am off from work tomorrow so you guys will be seeing me lurking around and posting like crazy on this thread, Hope you guys don't mind :)

How are all my girls doing??

Hi everyone! Tried to sleep in, but my DH and 2 boxer dogs were taking over the bed :)

Amber-did you develop the rash while on Lupron? Occasionally I develop a red, itchy rash following the Lupron injection. My nurse said this happens occasionally and if it worsens to let them know. I apply topical benadryl when needed. I would let your RE know. Last cycle after I got my BFN and stopped PIO shots I developed huge welts at the injection sites. They lasted for almost 2wks! Extremely annoying to say the least. My nurse figures I'm allergic to the sesame oil, so this cycle we are trying PIO with olive oil as the suspension. I'm normally not allergic to things, but I guess when you're injecting them it makes all the difference. Just thought I'd share my lovely, itchy experieces with you.

Welcome Stephane! Here's hoping and praying for a BFP! It's definitely your turn (as well as Donna and JesJes). I'm doing acupuncture, but not as often as some of the ladies. My RE says there are no contraindications, but he does not feel it will make a difference scientifically speaking. I'm not taking any herbs and going every other week for tx's. I may go more often as I get closer to ER. My RE uses 81mg aspirin b/c (at least this is my understanding) it increases the blood flow to the uterus. Hope that helps.

JesJes-Good luck with your ER. Keep us updated as you are able. I'll let you know my changed dates asap. Thanks for keeping track of everyone. You're getting that much closer to your BFP!

Courtney-Congrats on starting the stimming!

Jeanie-Let us know how you are doing after your ER today!

Chelly-Crazy similarities :) My DH no longer does personal training unfortunately. I was in such good shape when he did!! He stopped when we moved back to IL to a rural community b/c there is not much demand or $ in it here. We used to live in AZ. He has started his own business of repairing dental handpieces since we moved to IL. I'm going to work on handling my stress-sometimes I feel like my staff can't pee w/o me  :!:

Sameera-Hope you are resting!

I hope I didn't miss anyone. My boxers are whining to be fed, so I have to run for now.

Wow there has been a lot of activity here this weekend! I have so much catching up to do!! Sounds like everything is going pretty smooth for everyone, all things considered!

I was watching a show on the Discovery Health channel yesterday. There was a woman that had IVF done that ended up having 2 sets of identical twins! It was such an amazing story. I love watching shows about babies and IVF!

Anyway, Sameera, congrats on the ET!!! Sounds amazing!!

Welcome to any of the newbies I have yet to speak to. I was in Jamaica for a week, so I've been out of the loop!

How is everyone else holding up?! Hope all is well!! Guess I should get caught up with work now that I'm a little more caught up with my IVF buddies!!

Sameera~ Did you have cramping when you were stimming? It feels likes someone is pulling on my ovaries!!! If you did, did it get progressively worse or just remain the same until ER. Thanks!

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was too short as usual. I finally got AF which of course came the day I could of had the most fun without it. That's just life.

Congrats Sameera on your ET. I am sending you some sticky vibes.

Dr. Jen - Dr. Ratts' nurse is Mary, she is really nice and has been able to answer all my questions. I did three rounds of IUI so I have talked with her lots of times and she also did the IUI. I hope you got your AF and will be able to start stims soon. I go in on Wednesday to do B/W and U/S. Hopefully, then I will get more of a schedule so I will know when my ER and ET will be.

JesJes - thanks for doing the schedule, I will let you know my dates later on this week.

Dri-Jim - my DH is the same way, he won't even take aspirins. So getting him to take these antibotics will be worse then getting a 2 year old to take medicine.

Stephanie - 3rd time is a charm, I hope this cycle you get your BFP. There are so many strong women on this board, I don't know if I am strong enough to do IVF 3 times. I guess you never know until you are in that situation.

Donna - how are you doing? Any problems since ET?

Thanks to those that gave me feedback on exercising. I agree there is no definate answer to this question and will just have to follow my gut instinct. I am going to talk this over with my RE on Wednesday to see what she says.

To all the POAS addicts, can I join the club? I have wasted so much money on those stupid test.

Chris
