Hi all,
I have been busy trying to get things ready for the Holidays and for the big birth event...before my doctor tells me to go on bed rest, which is a great possibility. I missed our group! Today we gave our big dog to a nice retired couple. It is still hard but it was the wise thing to do considering the work we have in front of us.
Stefanie, good luck on your anatomical...the wait will be worth it: it is a long exam and you will see a lot of your babies. My husband got so tired he slept a little bit

Is it going to be this week, isn't it? And thanks for the book recommendation!
KB2131, welcome both parents! It seems that both of you are threading with us - never to early to tune in with the IVFers having multiples. What helped me with naused was to eat at 4:00 a.m. so I wouldn't get hungry in the morning; an emply stomach invites nausea. I did eat A LOT of mango and other ice cream bars. I went to the supermarked and sniffed things that didn't make me nauseating and bought them...no matter their nutritional value. At this point, we just need to be well hydrated and rested! Good luck!
SilverAngel679, so glad you've passed the 22 weeks line...your babies and more and more viable every day - move even because they come with the genetic gift of getting big and fat sooner than most! Get ready for heavy cooking - they will be eating polenta at 6 months!
Stephjim, so nice of you to continue checking on us! I'd love to know what was the most important skill you had to develop after bringing them home...the books may say a few things but you must have precious first hand clues for the rest of us!
Jenniferpd, my thought are with you, Michael and Sophia. I think we are all telling you the same: breathing in and out (if you don't do that, it is the the time for a crash course on relaxation/anxiety control breathing, no matter from which shool, yoga, etc), keeping your body plenty of water, trusting and praying for the professionals that are looking over you and letting your body do the work. Do you need suggestions to keep your mind less anxious? Let us know! Even videogames help tuning your fearful brain off a little bit! I wish you the strength you need to carry your babies until they are viable and ready to make you the happiest mom in the whole world!
Have a nice week, everyone!
