Tammy – I have been silently cheering for you on the other board and will certainly do a little dance to help get you started again!
Image

Moorebaby – YAY for shooting up!!!! Thanks for updating and you can change me over to AF has arrive and BCP begins tomorrow!!! Thanks. Image

Michele – Double Lupron! WOW! I amazed that you are able to function at work. I remember doing a lot of crying and having a very short fuse with my students. But at least things are looking good and moving forward. Just believe that you will not be delayed. Image

Heather – Welcome. I am sorry for your loss and will cheer you on to a spring BFP! I also have PCOS and borderline diabetes. My RE put me on Metformin about 6 weeks ago and it was really rough going for a few weeks but I seem to have adjusted as long as I’m really careful about what I eat. Are you on any diabetes meds? Image

Pumpkin – I have followed you and the other ladies on the other board and am glad to have you and your PMA join our group. Spring is your season!!! Image

Blissful – I am happy that you and DH are so in sync about adding to your family by any means necessary! DH and I started with IVF and after 2 disappointments decided to become foster parents in hopes of adopting. When we met our DS we new he was meant to be ours forever and every time I look at his smile I know that as sad as it was to lose my angels, they left so he could come. Now we are working on making him a sibling! So follow all paths to mommyhood and your family will fall into place. Lets start with a BFP !!! Image

Babiesgalore – Welcome! Congratulations on the DD! Here’s hoping you get to make her a big sis soon! Image

Cherry5 – WOW! I totally think that Jackson is psychic and has predicted the future!!! Maybe you can ask him what he sees in my future. Image

Mom4sure – Glad you are feeling better! Now it’s off to Cape Town. I could find the orange undies either so I opted for orange flip flops!!! Now go get your Image

Blairwh58 – Great that things are moving along! I can feel the momentum of al the BFPs coming on this board!! You just gotta Image

Jenmink – Please keep your PMA and remember that the issues from the past help the RE to figure out how your body works and make adjustments. Image This is your time!!! PMA! PMA!

Defttonemo - This is certainly the BFP special board! Spring will bloom with BFPs from these ladies! Image

Blaqdymun – You are on your way! YAY!!! Image

Team Orange (and green) – so I opted to get orange flip-flops since the orange undies are hard to come by. Also, since I usually spice up my spring wardrobe by adding in splashed of color with new t-shirts and flip flops. This year I will add in orange and green as my new spring colors!!!!

AFM – AF arrived today, 7 days earlier than expected (thanks to acupuncture for helping to regulate my cycle) so tomorrow is my SnS and then starting BCPs. GAME ON!!! GO TEAM ORANGE!!!

Sorry if I left anyone out… you are all in my prayers!

Lee- Ive been on Metformin since 2008. Yes, its very rough on the digestive system! UGH! I was on Insulin while pregnant with my DD and then stayed on it until last month. Ive lost a total of 45 lbs, and doing a good job of still maintaining it while I wait to get bloated on stims LOL I lost enough weight to be taken off of it and to be placed in the borderline type 2 category. YEAH! I"ll be honest and say I cheated losing the weight, because as alot of us know its damn near impossible to lose weight diagnosed with PCOS. I was medicated and watched closely and still did a high protein diet and stayed away from carbs and not much exercise and watched my numbers. My A1C is down to a 4.8. Its been painful! My doctor wanted my blood pressure down and my A1c down in order to even be considered for another cycle, so Im very thankful its finally happening! Ive also been on DHEA since November, so I hope that has helped. My antral count at baselines was 28 follicles on the left and 30 on the right. Ive been doing so much reading on antral counts. Could be some interesting reading.

http://www.advancedfertility.com/antralfollicles.htm

Thanks for the warm welcome!! Im very excited to be on the same cycle as alot of you! Its hard having DH in Afghanistan and him being asleep most times after I get done with a dr appt and want to scream to someone whats going on. LOL We dont share anything about our cycle with anyone but my sister and parents. We grew tired of hearing those tired words "when are you going to try again" So now we just keep to ourselves, so Im thankful to have you ladies to share with.

Lee Those graphics??? I LUV THEM!!! Especially the one of my crawling baby. :D :D :D . I am sooooo going to Cape Town to get my baby.
AF came 7 days early? Wow, thats great! Welcome to bcp world. I love the orange flip flop alternative to undies. If i dont get a pair of undies i'll get something comfy, like an orange tshirt, tracksuit, nighty etc to wear while i cycle.. Orange undies problem solved :D :D

Tammy Welcome... It must be a relief to know they solved the reason you where loosing your precious babies. Now you can look forward to a BFP this cycle. Am doing the AF dance for you.

Moorebaby Congrats on graduating to injections... You're on your way... See you soon in injections world. :) Bcp world sucks, been here toooooo long.

Deftones Welcome to the group and looking forwards to us all having BFPs.

moorebaby- WOo hoo for shots!! Its sad that we get so excited to give ourselves shots but thats the life of infertility.

heather- I think its much easier not to tell anyone when you are "trying again". We have about 3 people who just know we are dealing with infertility but dont know the details of any of the treatment. Its just less stressful for me without people always asking how we are doing or if it worked. Its bad enough when people keep insisting that I should be the next to get pregnant....If only they knew how much we agreed!

lee- Love all the blinkies you added in. And congrats on AF coming 7 days early!!! Its so nice when you feel like your body wants to cooperate. Congrats on BCP and getting start things.

sunshine- we did an IUI with follistim last may. It was unsuccessful but I know many a people who have gotten preggo from it, some with multiples. Its also a LOT cheaper than IVF. If you have a shot of it working its definitely worth it. I think I had 6 follicles when we did the low dose of follistim so 5 sounds right on track. Best of luck!!

blaqdymun- Congrats on getting start up your injections too!! Its good to get things started and feel like you are really going towards that BFP!!

deftones- #4 is the cycle to go for!! You, me, and bliss are all on cycle 4 so I think thats our lucky #. Good luck!!

bliss- How are things going? Big game friday night...I am just hoping I can stay awake long enough.

Well a quick update for me- I probably am going to be both March/April Cycle. Went back today for US and BW and have 11 follicles all 8-10mm as expected after 4 days of stims. Nurse just called and said my levels were fine but they want to increase my follistim to 250 IU for the next few days until I go back on Saturday for another US and BW. As of now we are looking at an ER on 3/30 and an ET on 4/2. Will try to catch up on personals soon.

Okay ladies. I need the AF dance! I had to take 2 months off between fresh cycles, and now I need AF! Some spotting today, but not enough to call with day 1. I have ordered my orange and green underwear from Victoria's Secret, but they haven't arrived yet. The only orange they had in the style I wear was orange giraffe  I guess it will do. I have Monday off of work, so orange pedi on Monday :D

Congrats to all those starting injectables!

Good luck Blair!!!

Michele- LOL, I didn't see that you posted an updated calendar. I also added Sunshine as an IUI. So, how was your early dismissal today? I'm so jealous! I'm sure you'll have a delay tomorrow....or maybe a cancellation! Either way, enjoy it! How was DH's TESE consult today?

Cherry5- PMA, PMA, PMA...this WILL work! That was so generous of your MIL to help you guys out financially!

Dallas- Does your clinic have you do a med class for every cycle? I just switched to a whole new clinic (4 cycles at the other one) & this one didn't even mention it. I was kind of surprised....I know I have experience, but you would think that for liability they'd have us take one. Wow...as I'm typing this I just realized we didn't sign any consent forms or anything like that. Hmm....that seems odd to me & it totally slipped my mind. I'll have to ask my nurse.

Wishingandhoping- Come on AF….I’m doing somersaults for you!!!

Jmbella- Welcome! You’re part of the list now! I’m so sorry about your M/C from your 1st cycle. April 4th is a good day…DH’s b-day!

Blairwh- Great report! 3/30….that’s next week!!!

Mom4sure- You’re almost there!!! Just about a week left!

X0Heather0x- Welcome! Congrats on your weight loss…that’s awesome! You’re 1 strong woman going through this while DH is in Afghanistan & after everything you’ve been through! I admire your strength & perseverance!

Sunshine1576- That is fantastic that DH’s count went up! If your RE feels that you should try an IUI 1st, I say go for it…especially if you’re feeling optimistic! I say go with 5! This is kind of a stupid question, but is the 17% chance per follicle?

Deftonesmo- Welcome! So sorry about last month’s BFN, but I love your PMA!

AFM- Not much going on here. On my 2nd day of Lupron. I have a question for you ladies who have some experience with Lupron. I’ve taken Lupron once during my last cycle, so I’m still fairly new with it. However, I do not remember this the last time I took Lupron. All day today, I had ovulation-like pains (more of them were on my right side). The last time I didn’t have this, but I was on a lower dose…5 units per day. This time I’m on 10 units per day.

Cherry- one thing about our clinic I don't know if you know it or not but they have a high success rate with frozen embryos (blasts) then many other clinics. Actually they are the highest in our region. Our embryologist are wonderful and very successful! I chose them over going to Atlanta because they are more personable and the one on one time during visits you just cant find anywhere else. Ive never left there and thought I couldn't call and ask anything and Ive never left feeling that Dr. Long didnt give me all the time in the world. They run late I"ll give you that but its because they are very thorough. You really are in good hands! But I know your worries and concerns. Its a VERY scary time! Much baby dust to you!!

moorebaby- Thank you very much! Its been a long hard road but Im doing much better. Just praying DH comes home to a newly pregnant wife LOL I dont know anything about Lupron. Ive just heard it called "***** juice" LOL I just pray it does the job for you!! :)

jmbella- Welcome! I just joined myself. It helped me to go back and read the 17 or so pages to get up on everybody LOL Good luck!!

blairwh- trying sucks! LOL I guess Im going to call it OVERCOMING LOL. You know this process is so stressful! Its frustrating to know crack is so cheap and easy to buy, the women on it get pregnant not even thinking about it and the last thing they have to think about is stress being on it. We have it completely opposite. Its a cruel cruel world! But I hold out hope that Karma will come back to us. Praying your follies grow grow grow!!!!!!!

Where is my update dang it! After I posted the list I wrote some personals and an update and now it is gone! I hate that!

So I basically said-

Moorebaby- thank you so much for helping update the list. We have so many people now, I don't know what I was thinking when I thought I could keep up with it, considering my insanely busy schedule. And yay for first lupron. Welcome to ***** town! lol And I can't believe we are on the same exact schedule! We are going to do this together, get pregnant together and then our little girls can grow up as CT friends! (That's right, we are both having girls!) :D t ask RE just in case. And you are on 10 huh? I started on 10 and he doubled me to 20. I think I will be on 20 for at least another week.

Lee- Love the graphics! Especially the teacher...lol...totally looks like me by 2nd period!

Tammy- BOOYAH! So we cycle together again! So glad you are joining us. You know I have everything crossed for you girl!

Ok, my update was good today. E2 dropped to 72 or 78, which RE said was good (even though it is not down to 50 yet). No need to repeat bw on thursday. Just had to go in on Tuesday for pre-stim-start bw and u/s. They will likely order my big ol' box of meds tomorrow. DH went for TESE consult today. His dr is willing to work with us to plan an emergency backup tese the day of my retreival if need be. He told dh today that he has started giving some men with azoospermia hcg injections 3 times a week for 3-4 months and some have started having sperm in the ejaculate again. Too bad we didn't see him months ago. So the hope is that our one frozen vial is enough, if not, emergency tese. If I get delayed or bfn, maybe dh will try injections so he doesn't have to keep doing tese. Poor dh, this will be his 3rd time if needed!

OMG, only 9 days until stims!!

OMG Michelle - how exciting! I have everything crossed for you that it works this time!!! I am glad your E2 is on its way down. I remember how you kept getting delayed last time. thank goodness - not the case now!! and good news about the HCG injections for your hubby if needed as the las resort. always nice to know.

Tammy - here is to a successful cycle for you and me to get pregnant with siblings to our Zachs! Oh - i would love that so much! i am the only child and i would love love love for Zach to have a brother or a sister to grow up with. Heck i would love for him to have 2 - but in my position a girl cant be greedy. i would just be super grateful for one more.

this coming monday i am going in for my "reverse beta test" :) i am calling it that. waiting to get the HCG from the - dont even know what to call it - was it a chemical or a MC? - waiting for the HCG to go down so that i can cycle again. i am having the longest AF ever after i stopped the PIO after the U/S showed not much there. so hopefully that means the HCG will be out of the system.

My embryologist is insisting on having an SCSA test for my DH - supposed to assess sperm dna fragmentation. she says it will help her decide how many to transfer on the frozen round - 3 or more. so we are going to do that and give her that data point.
