Chriss: I haven't heard anything, yet. But I am pretty confident will get it . Thay seem desperate!! The pay is crappy, but I think I will enjoy it. and it is only for 4 months!

OK - so question for my personal pharmacist.....am currently taking "FOLGARD" (not a generic) -- but new insurance will not cover FOLGARD....is there a comparable/generic Rx for it???

you can always just get the folic acid and B6 and 12 seperately...most insurances don't pay for supplements so that was nice your old one did...most won't even pay for prenatals! Are you on 2.2 or just regular? I get my folic acid otc (800mcg) I put that on top of my Centrum which has 500mcg. I don't have any underlying condition to use more..way cheaper for me that rx stuff and I use reputable companies (not store brand crap haha).

I see everyone is on top form, and not a thought for little ole me (well - not so little - not as little as Mia anyway

) painting away in DD's bedroom - blasting my music (Garth again im afraid!) and thinking i wasnt missing much! Huh!

steph --- ok, so there's an Rx called "FOLTX" that seems to be folic acid w/ the b6 & 12......that IS covered under my insurance --- is THAT the same thing???? comes in 2, 2.5 & 25MG.......oh and my current folgard is 2.2MG...is there REALLY that big of diff between "2.2 and 2.5"?????

folgard has 2.2 FA, 25 b-6 and 1 b-12
foltx has 2.5, 25 and 2

so I'd say you should be fine...for the most part you pee out extra B, but if you don't pee out enough you could become toxic...but you'd probably have to take in a buttload more to become anywhere near toxic...i'd say talk to the doc and get a new rx

I agree with what someone (Chris, I think) said about the opk's. I always used clearblue digital and they are so easy, you're left in no doubt about your surge.

Gees, how much folic acid do they recommend over there? We're told to take 400mcg a day while ttc and for first 3 months. How long do you take it for?

chriss --- you got a long weekend being a school teacher??? kinda funny actually cuz isn't it "martin luther king day"????? and so that my kids school is all "PC" (politically correct) --- they have the day off, but for "teacher in service" --- it ISN'T because of the "holiday".........OMG -- crazy shit!!!!!!!

i'm feeling ok.......have a smashing headache at the moment and quite accustomed to grabbing the giant advil bottle in my desk drawer --- WOOPS!!! can't do that anymore!! so i've been trying to suck it up..... think is just cuz i'm so crushed tired..........been an intense week and my body is telling me so!!! hasn't really sunk in yet to be honest.....guess it will feel "real" when we can tell the boys.....can't wait to tell them!! is something they've "nagged" at us about since getting married 5 yrs ago:P they will be thrilled!! thinking EASTER will be the "big announcement" -- assuming all goes well up to that point...... been playing phone tag w/ docs office all day trying to figure out appts and meds......i THINK nurse said 1st us will be 2wks from yesterday -- which would be around Feb 1st or sometime that following week.....great -- another 2ww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
