I was having problems earlier. Did we set up a new thread? Hope all is well. Having b-day on Tues, but going out for it this week. Good news though--called clinic and obgyn's office finally sent over what they needed to-- at least that's one thing that's no longer on my mind.

Yeah!!! I am so happy things are back to normal with this thread!

LB and IrishHope - good luck with AF. I hope she gets here soon for both of you!

Mrs. G - I hope all works out for you. Good luck at your appointment today.

kbat - I am glad to hear the paperwork has finally been sent over and you have one less thing to worry about. Enjoy your celebrating this weekend!

I had my bloodwork done this morning and now I am just waiting for the call that all is okay and I can start injections tomorrow. DH went in for his liver tests today too. He is having an ultrasound and bloodwork done ironically enough. I am axiously awaiting those results too.

Happy Friday everyone!

Kbear, I am so sorry your cycle didn't work out. I hope this one does!

itsgottawork--how's the hubby?

JustJenis (what does that mean BTW), I think we will be very close in our cycles.

So, an update: got AF, went to RE, started my stimming meds last night.

It was awful. I was a wreck. I was so freaked out that I was going to do something wrong. The Follistem pen REALLY scares me. I am so worried that I will try to turn it back the wrong way and we will lose medicine...at $600/900IU, I don't want to lose anything! We stopped mid-way through both Menepur and Follistem to go and watch the video again. The Menepur was so hard to push in. You have to push it slowly b/c it is so thick. I couldn't believe how much liquid there was and that I didn't have a bubble under my skin. Ug. So, looks like my estimated ER is 2/17.

And, I have been a VERY good girl. I haven't run since Tuesday. I was kind of thinking about sneaking in a little run tonight....that would still keep my weekly mileage under 20....

Also, I CAN NOT stop drinking Coke Zero. Is everyone else totally stopping caffeine? I am going to have 1 coke zero today and try not to drink any over the weekend. wrong

So glad we are back to normal!

So update on me - AF came today - actually sooner than I expected. Just talked to RE's office and I go tomorrow for blood and scan and likely will start stimming on Sunday. Unfortunately she told me this time I will have to do one shot in the morning and one at night - last night I did them all together at night so it was only 1 shot - not looking forward to 2 a day. They are also adding Clomid this cycle. Should be interesting!

Kate - sorry the shot was so bad. I never found Menopur to be thicker - but it stung more for me than the Bravelle and it caused a reaction on my skin - a big red circle around the injection site - it didn't hurt though, was just red. I didn't do follistim and won't this time either - just Bravelle and Menopur. We were really nervous at first too and it took us forever (after watching the video twice!!) but I promise it gets easier! Also, I don't drink much caffeine anyway, but 1 diet coke a day is not bad. I am sure you already do, being a runner, but also drink lots of water.

Kbat - glad the doctor finally cooperated!!

itsgottawork - good luck with your shots!

IrishHope - I hope AF comes soon for you as well!

Have a great weekend everyone!

WOO HOOO!!! The thread is fixed! :D Welcome back to any of you who were lost in the mess.

RunnerKate ~ Wow! You had to wait sooo long for AF and now you're already stimming! That's great!!! You'll be ahead of us all, I think. Here's what my doc told me about the caffeine. She said that a little is still ok, you don't have to go off of it 100%, just try to reduce. I drink some 1/2 caff coffee in the morning and then maybe 1 other drink with caffeine per day. I have a friend at work who is pregnant...she drinks nothing BUT full caffeine drinks all day long! (OK, maybe she's not the best example). :)

LB ~ Congrats! You're lucky...only 2 shots per day. When I start my stims on Sunday I'll have to do 4 per day. :(

itsgottawork ~ Are you starting stims tomorrow? I hope DH's tests come back ok. Is he feeling any better at all?

I hope everyone else is doing ok. Have a great Friday!!

RunnerKate - I am sorry to hear you had a bad time with the injections. I think the Gonal-F pen gets easier as time goes on. I didn't like it at all at first and then it wasn't so bad. I am new to menopur this cycle though and you have me nervous. I hope your next one isn't so bad. Good Luck!

LB - congrats on your AF! Good Luck with the bw and ultrasound and stims on Sunday!

I got my bloodwork results just now. Everything looks good and I am all set to start Lupron tomorrow. I'll go back for bw and ultrasound on the 19th. Yahoo! I never thought I would be so excited to give myself injections. :)

Enjoy the weekend!

Hi ladies! Happy Friday! I hope everyone is well. I haven't been posting much (traveling for work), so I'll have to take a few minutes to go back and catch up, but I wanted to drop in while I had a sec at work. :D So here's where I'm at...I started stimming yesterday. I'll have my u/s on the 14th, and I'm hoping for ER on the 18th. I have to travel again this week for work (Mon-Wed) so that should make the time go by quickly. :P

hugs,

Morning all!!!

RunnerKate.. What does what mean? JustJenis? LOL It's my name. My name is Jenis.. so .. it's just ME! :)

I went in for day 3 bloodwork and ultrasound and the doc said that my lining is still a little thick and I have to go back in on Sunday for a repeat. So I don't start my Menopur till then.. which is fine.. AF Came 2 days early so that puts me right back on Track!! YAAAHHHH!!

Anyone else REALLY sleepy lately? I need some motivation to get moving. I think I'll go to lowes and look at tile and paint samples LOL! What an exciting life I lead.. I know. But atleast it'll get me out.

itsgottawork ~ Let me tell you this. I HATE needles, HATE them. I started Lupron yesterday AM. Last night we were watching TV and I actually caught myself wondering how much longer I had to wait before I could go up and take my shot! How's that for irony! Are we sick puppies or what?

corny ~ safe travels! We are on a very similar schedule. I hope everything goes well for you!!

Jenis ~ seems like I stay sleepy all the time. I could go to bed at 8 and be perfectly happy! Are you remodeling your house - no wait, you got a new house, right?
