AFM us on saturday didn't go too we'll i have 1 dominant follie on the right side measuring 17mm and about 4 others around 10 mm and she couldn't see the left side so stimmed till monday us hoping for better results otherwise was looking at cancelling. Went in monday morning the dominant follie is much bigger but the other 4 have grown alot more. Saw the left side and theirs 3 good sized follies with 3 more smaller ones. So was more promising to my re so stimming till wednesday. trigger wednesday night ER on Friday 13 woohoo am very happy. On another note Re trying me on embie glue this time round cause i have had so many failed transfers i have mixed feelings on this but hey have to try it anyone else tried embie glue. I asked ghost and his/her clinic don't use it.

cheekyone - My RE also does embie glue but I have heard mixed reviews on it. Most RE's say it doesn't help.


AFM - Had ER on Friday, they retrived 7, 7 were mature and 6 fertilized. Now waiting on my day 3 report. I am thinking I will insist on a day 3 transfer. Last time I waited till day 5 and none made it to blast so I didn't have any to transfer. At this point, I just want to put them back in and see what happens.

Wow you ladies sure like to type! It seems like a whole lot of you all will be all doing ER at or near the same time. How exciting! I sure hope that all of you have many healthy eggies retrieved! I'll wait til tomorrow to update the list, since Lou will have some very exciting news tomorrow!

afm ITS HERE!!! haha wooohooo my baby in a box came! yay!! i'm not sure if i'll take pictures again, but i probably will just to send to my family so i can freak them out again and get some sympathy phone calls haha. thanks to everyone for cheering on its arrival haha
soooo when i got my box of course i ripped it open and started sorting it out. so i decided to open that one drawer in my fridge, and that one shelf in my cupboards where i angrily threw all my meds when my cycle was canceled last time, and have been ignoring them ever since. well when i looked through everything again i realized my PIO from last cycle had expired!! my nurse never ordered me more because she said it should still be good from last cycle. well i just trusted her and didnt bother to look until now. THANKGOD i looked now and figured it out! what a waste of all of that PIO i never got to use. so luckily i saw that there were refills left on it before i called my RE's office and had to deal with THAT again. i just called my pharmacy and ordered a refill of it. so much easier!! so i'll get another surprise in the mail sometime this week. i dont need it for awhile so i'm just happy i rechecked that! yikes!! is it just me or do your nurses expect you to be an expert on all of this stuff?? up until this year ive never been on any meds (unless i was really really sick) and ive never had to order from a specialty pharmacy so i'm learning as i go. the nurses all act like its no big deal and i feel they think i over-react about things like my meds, but i think they forget i am very new to all of this and it can be very overwhelming at times.
so tomorrow is my last day of BCP's woooooohooooo
wednesday DH and I both have a day off together in the middle of the week for veterans day so we are going to enjoy it. i told him we have to go have sushi incase i hopefully wont be able to have it for 9 more months!! does anyone else do that?? eat everything bad during pregnancy right before IVF starts? i also need to have my fill of lobster!! sushi and lobster....haha its gonna be an expensive week!
well i'm off to the store and gotta clean the house. its beautiful out here today so i might put off cleaning the house and take the dog for a walk instead!

to_have_fun08: WooHoo, congrats on 6 little embies. I agree with the 3 day transfer. I read it somewhere online 3 days has better success rate than 5 days, embies seem to grow better in us than the lab. Got everything crossed for you! GROW EMBIES GROW!!!

Me2009: Do not worry about the size of follies, I felt the same way when the Nurse told me first that I only have 2 follies and forget to mention they didn't count the small ones. It's a good thing that you don't have to worry about leading follies. just imaging one of them is going to grow into a beautiful egg and then a little miralce later.

Hi Katie

Sorry to hear that your nurse like of new to the job. But I don't think it will complicate things, but just beware and put more attention to all the details by yourself, double check everything and so on. Things can work out.

My ET is great, I think the RE has great skills, I can feel nothing during the whole process and no cramping or spotting @ all. But just wonder, may be it is because I have only 1 to transfer and it is pretty easy for them

My DH and I already kind of know the result since only transfer one has very slim chance to sucess unless miracle happened. During this 2WW, it is pretty easy for both of us since outcome is pretty sure already just like I said. We both put our mind off this topic for now and focus on others.

But I will keep browsing this forum and keep you all posted.

10bear you are PUPO!!!! keep up the PMA girl!! dont loose hope now! there have been amazing success stories on here that would blow your mind. please relax during the 2ww and know i am crossing my fingers and toes for you and DH to get your BFP!!

Turtle-thanks for posting about your PIO expiring because I will now have to check mine as well since I too did not use it last cycle and they did not send me new medicine!!! My mom was at my house when my package arrived and she was appalled at how many needles/medicines their was and she only saw the Lupron/Follistim/and antibiotics!!!

10Bear-Don't expect the worse!! One embie still has a great chance of implanting so PMA girl!

cheekybone-glad to hear that your other smaller follicles got bigger and this was not a canceled cycle for you!!

Boy, some days I just cant stay away from here! The amount of support, advice, PMA, & infertility sisterhood is unbelievable! glad that we are all here to get through this together!

10Bear -Dont give up hope! I know of at least 3 ladies who only had 1 embie to transfer & are pregnant right now! Keep your head up!
When is your beta? (pregnancy blood test?)

Lou -I've got everything crossed for your beta tomorrow! I know that was the LONGEST 2 weeks ever!

Lulu -Your attitude is infectious! It helps us all keep staying positive!

Franny -yay for the end of BCP! (I hate those things, they make me moody) Good point about checking the expiration dates! Both of my cancelled cycles I went through the box & brought the nurse a list of what I had thats still good. EEK! I hate to be stuck with too much! Hope you & your puppy had a great day in this warm fall weather!

Claud -Isnt is insane how many meds we will go through in a cycle?
my first time I had to show my friends how BIG that box was! Well as long as we all end up with a BFP, I guess it doesnt really matter

hi everyone. i went for my first us after i started stims on the 4th of nov. i had about 12 follies between 6 and 8 and only one 11 (it is likely to be my cyst which is going away). RE said that he would have expected them to be bigger and increased my dose from gonal f 225 to 300... looks like im a slow responder... anyone else had similar experience? im going in for another us this wednesday and then again on friday. RE thinks no ER this week... i hope they will grow.

10bear - congrats on your ET. please stay positive!
turtle0619 - good job on sorting out your meds! its funny i asked my DH to go out for sushi (he normally doesnt like it because they dont feel him up ) on the day i started stims and my reasoning was the same. i think you were asking about spotting earlier. i had that on lupron and RE said it was okay... it stopped now that i am on stims.
me2009 - congrats on your follies, we are very close in our timing it looks

Thanks for cheering me up here. The reason why I am saying that is the embryo we transfered is a 4A on day 3 transfer. Grade A means shape of the cell is perfect and even.--> very good , BUT, 4 means it only have 4 cell instead of 6-8 cell---> very bad

I totally understand what you are going through. Within recent years, all of our relatives and friends keep asking us when to have a baby, I just found out they are so annoying........and couldn't stand it anymore, so we just told them I am not ready... I don't like kids etc..... Well, I am just more than ready, but .....can't make it happened.

10bear So glad to hear your ET went well. I've scoured the internet and found plenty of success stories with only one embryo. If this cycle doesn't work for me (beta tomorrow), then I will do a FET with my one lone frostie. I have everything crossed for you. Don't POAS during your 2ww... bad karma!

to_have_fun08 So glad to hear you had so many fertilized eggs. I hope you get some beautiful 3 day embies to choose from. My clinic will only go to day 5 if you have 4 or more. I had three. Two were transferred on day 3 and the third is a frostie. Good Luck!!

AFM -- As you all know, my 2ww is over tomorrow and I go for my beta test in the morning 11/10 CST. I have NO IDEA what the result will be. I POAS at 5dpt (too early, I know), but the negative was such a bummer I didn't do it again. The day after my transfer, I had a tiny bit of brown spotting. I thought it was early, but the nurse at my clinic said it hopefully implantation. I had cramping like AF was coming for 2-3 days after ET. Then it stopped and I had nothing but sore bbs up until a couple of days ago. Now I have a different kind of cramping that started 2 days ago. It's more of a "pulling or stretching" sensation and is totally different than AF cramps. I also got up SIX (yes, SIX) times last night to pee. WTH? Early pregnancy symptom or side effect from PIO? I am sooo hoping for a good positive beta number tomorrow, but this is my first IVF and it seems rare that the first time works. I'm prepared for a negative and to move forward if that's the case. Part of me will feel guilty with a positive beta because so many ladies on this board have been trying for so long that I feel like I should have to put in my time and deal with my share of disappointments before reaping the rewards. I wish you all the best and I will update you either way. I'll be at work for a long day tomorrow, so don't think anything of it if my update doesn't come until Weds morning.
