Cath Sheen,

I know this may sound crazy but I thought EC was my favorite part. I thought the puzzle was about to be solved and the end was near. You get a one day break from injections which feels like the best XMAS present and you are out for the surgery (at least in Colorado you are). It was a treat to be put under and to wake up and have it all done. I slept the rest of the afternoon.

You will do great.

I hope all is going well for you!! I need everyone to send good thoughts that my cyst will go away because if it does not, I will have to cancel my cycle and my insurance that pays for it ends!! I have two weeks before I know if it goes away.

Best of luck to all you ladies, it will go fast and all be worth it when we are holding our babies

Hi Everyone, I have been reading post on this site for over a year. i have posted questions couple of times. This board has amazing ladies with experience to share. I have been trying for 6 year and has two miscariages and one ectopic in january this year all natural. i have tubal problem and starting my first IVF this month and would like to join this tread.

I hope that is alright with everyone,

Well here I am…we met with a new RE last Wednesday and I guess it was positive. He told me that if he can not get me pregnant in the next 6 months then it is not going to happen. We are going to try 2 IUIs and then one final IVF!!! Hopefully we are pregnant right now naturally and this will not even an issue. I am on the 2WW now and can test on November 17th approx…maybe sooner. If AF (that *****) come then I will start BC that day and start drugs a day or 2 later…10 days later IUI. They are putting me on drugs so that I will produce 3 or 4 eggs…take a trigger then IUI and hopefully one or more will fertilize and implant…Fingers crossed!!!

Baby Dust to Everyone!!! Hopefully we will all have BFP for our Christmas presents this year!!!

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone's well.

As for me, my first IVF adventure has just begun - had my injection of decapetyl on Monday. It's weird, I wasn't sure what to expect, but thought I'd be feeling a bit moody or having 'flushes' by now, but in fact I feel completely normal, no twinges, nothing.. A relief in some ways but now I'm wondering whether it's working

Anyway, no way I can know before the 1st u/s and bloodwork in a week's time..

Let's hope we all get our BFP's soon

Question to those who have gone through IVF...

This is my second time and the first time I went through was quite easy as it all happened over summer and I have summer's off. I will now be in throws of my work and have a 6 month old at home.

When you go through all of it, did you need to take any time off of work besides for EC and ET? I remember being quite tired but not sure if it was because I was allowed to be tired due to my laxed schedule. How did it affect your work? Did you have to tell people at work?

Good evening Ladies...I hope you are all well. The 2ww sucks...1 more to go. I could test maybe Thursday or Friday but I am not due to start until Sunday. I will try and be strong but I have not been successful doing that in the past...LOL

Donna - I was with you on the Sept thread. I got a BFP with my first IVF cycle, but overstimulated and had a chemical PG. I am now doing FET this month. They put me on BCP, I have been on Lupron for a week now and today I started my estrogen pills and cream tonight.

Here are my stats:

baby_or_bust - (Donnell)
2nd IVF
FET – November 30th
HPT - (yes, POAS addict) December 6th
Beta – December 12th???

I hope this thread bring lots of BFP's and healthy PG's!

Welcome to this group! Sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy. I hope you get the BFP this time! How many embies are you transfering? I started Lupron this week and next week I am adding the estrogen patches. My ET date is Friday December 7th,

I find out Friday but had to go in for another reason and they said my cysts looks like it is going away. I start injections a week from today.

What is your schedule?

that's great news! My first cycle was cancelled because of a cyst. I went back a week later and it grew instead of going away! So that's great it's going away. Keep me posted.
