Hi ladies,

I'm a November girl too so hope I can join your thread. This'll be our first IVF ICSI and we've been through a real obstacle course to get here so I'm crossing my fingers for a BFP for us all. Just got my (long) protocole through - Gonal F + Ovitrelle - and am due to start injections at beg. November. Good luck to all.

Hi everyone,
I've been reading the posts for a while (which has been very helpful BTW) and I thought it was time to join in. I'm just starting my 1st IVF cycle. I start Lupron injections this Saturday. I've been pretty anxious about the whole thing but glad it's finally starting. It's been frusterating not knowing what we needed to do for so long but finally we have something to work towards! It's great to have a group of people going through the same thing.

Hi There,
I changed from the Cleveland Clinic to Reproductive Gynecology Inc. I didnt get the BFP on my fresh cycle at the new clinic, even though we have excellent embies. I really hope it works this time. We have 5 in the freezer. Do you live near Cincinatti?

Hi Jes Jes,
I am soooo sorry about your loss. I know that must have been devistating for you. I am praying for you. Welcome to the Nov Dec group! I hope this is my lucky time. This is my 4th IVF. I don't get why I am having problems...I had my tubes tied. Thats why I can't get pregnant now. I have 4 boys from a previous marriage. Everyone says, well atleast you have 4 boys. I am greatful for my kids, but DH and i really want one together. I will be 35 in November, so is it that I am older now?

How many embies will you be transfering? We meet with the DR on Monday. What type of protocol do you have?

I am going through IVF starting end of November through December and hoping to find cycling buddies. I have been through it before (last year) and have a 6 month old baby girl. Ours was a male factor but just found out my eggs are going bad and now they want to rush me on this one. I loved the support I received on the last one and this will be especially hard as my husband will be out of town the WHOLE time! Unavoidable three week trip, right during my whole cycle.

Anyhow, would love to join if I could

Hi Cath and the other ladies,

Personally I'm doing fine. Getting ready for my ICSI in Nov. Saw the anaesthetist on Friday. No choice, you get put to sleep for ER in my hospital. Also picked up my drugs - the needle for the ovary blocker one looks enormous .

Apart from that, feeling excited but a little nervous - normal really I suppose.

Anyway, wishing everyone lots of luck with their treatment.

PS. Cath, saw your thread about Wales- I used to live in Aberstwyth - if that counts

If it makes you feel better, I actually thought the retrival was my best part. I thought it was great that you got to skp and injection the day before and the day of. It was a treat to go to sleep ( I know that sounds weird but it felt like a break) and exciting to wake up to what is almost the final part of the whole procedure. Best of luck

It is so wonderful to see you girls here. I wish we were all prego but it is good to see you have not given up.

JesJes-You and I were on the same schedule last time. I though you got a BFP…what happened. If you do not want to talk about it that is fine. I am really sorry for whatever happened.

Donna-You and I have very similar stories…not sure if you remember. I had my tubes tied after my 3rd son w/ex and now I am remarried and my DH does not have any babies of his own and we desperately want one together….not greedy one would be great!!! I just turned 37 and wow I feel my age. Well after 2 failed IVFs and $25k wasted we decided to untie my tubes in May. My left one is now open and we have been trying naturally for 5 month…I am CD11 month 6. I have been on Clomid for the past 4 month…1st on 50mg and past 2 and this one I am on 100mg. They say I was not ovulating on my own and I am with Clomid…but still BFN. I am seeing a new RE on Wednesday and if we do not get pregnant this try we will start the poking and prodding train again. I use a Fertility Monitor and I ovulate around CD 15-17 and then on the 2ww. I should be able to HPT around November 17th, so I am a November Girl!!!

I know I am not doing IVF but I would love to join your group. I hope everyone is well and LOTS OF BABY DUST TO ALL!!!
