Gennessa
Looks like we are due one day apart. I am due Feb 17th. We did our ET on 6/2 and my beta was 235. I go back Monday for another blood test. I can't wait to see if we are having twins. I really hope we are! I am soooo excited about being pregnant. My DH and I will be married for 11yrs in August and we have been trying for a baby for about 5 years and I am just so excited that we are finally going to be parents.

I wish everyone the best and pray your pregnancy is great!

Hi all,
Thanks for your messages. Unfortunately I started bleeding and apparently one of the placentas is a bit dettached, I am in bed rest, good news they did a new ultrasound and both babies are still in there and they actually found the heartbeats this time! Dr said there is nothing to do but wait, it could correct with time or it can be a possilbe miscarrage I am still bleeding but not heavily so it is very hard to wait, I hope the baby hangs in there, next u/s to check how things are going unless i start having heavy bleeding is next Thurs. 6/19
Sorry for all the drama but it feels good to share with other due feb moms to be!
Cookinggirl - It is neat that we are due the same day!

Rubylee- I hope you can see the hb next time, good luck!

Children- thanks for having the list! my missing info is

crogers - congrats! after 5 years trying what a great feeling

Genessa-Keep us posted on the u/s the wait is not easy!

Have a good rest of the weekend, i am stranded to bed for now!

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a nice and relaxing weekend!
Valen03- I'm sorry to hear that you are on bed rest. Although, I must admit that in a selfish way I am jealous because I am sitting at work right now so tired and exhausted. Anyway, I'm glad that you saw the heart beats! That is a great sign. Hang in there and rest up and get yourself better. Try not relax and not drive yourself crazy while you are home in bed.
Gennessa- I completely agree about enjoying the replies. Its hard not to tell anyone the news so this site has become by release. Thank you all for being so active. I cant wait to see what the next 8 months brings for us!
ftg- Congrats and welcome! I love to hear that your DH is so excited. I think my DH is still in shock...hopefully he will get over it soon and enjoy the experience.
I have to try to get a little work done today. I'll write back in a little while!
Take care!

Hi all,

Yes, trying to enjoy the bed rest! and getting not too bored. thanks for all your words, my DH has been spoiling me so much because I cant do anything that i am going to get used to it!!

Genessa - i was constipated about 2 weeks a go, it was awful! the Dr told me to buy a -stool softner- which you get over the counter. It is not effective immediately but it did help after a couple of days. Try to eat things with fiber and drink water. Hope you feel better it is not fun!!

Happy Monday!!

Valen-hang in there and I am sure this is just what the dr. ordered...both the spoiling for you & rest for the beans!

Gennessa-yes, I too (the normal daily eliminator you can set a clock by) have been extremely constipated for the first time in my life. I am a very normal water drinker, vegetable, fruit, and fiber eater. I'm got so sick of it, this morning I tried this concoction: blueberries with yogurt, oat psyllium bit cereal, and a heavy teaspoon of Fiber Sure mixed in it. (this is natural vegetable fiber). If I have ever gotten close to having any constipation issues, I've usually used the most natural way to get rid of it. I'm sure with our hormone changes, this may be here to stay for a while! I also don't want to strain too hard, so am starting to bring in my book.

Hang in there and try a few things to see what works for you. I'll have to say this morning's concoctions seemed to help more than just food/liquid alone

Take care all.

...and cookinggirl too...I hope you're hanging in there. I would have to imagine it may be double anything that I'm encountering right now if you're dead tired, nauseated, etc. Please keep us posted!

Man oh man 1 hurdle after another. Here we go I went for my FET on 5/11 BETA all good went for 1st u/s on 6/2 sac looked good Dr. said I was a little over 5 weeks & way to early for HB & to come back today. We go to & after 15 minutes of jabbing & different machines the Dr. said this is very weird your sac definately grew & he could see the yolk but & a very big but the heart beat was against the wall. He was very concerned. We did see the heart beat but he couldn't get a reading on it nothing. The Dr. said the fluid is suppose to be all the way around the heart & its not. He said I was due 2/4. So I'm thinking its too early but then again he said we can only wait till next week for another try.
Very heart breaking. It doesn't look very promising.
The Dr. seemed so out of it like this shouldn't be happeneing. he said even if I did blood work it wouldn't matter this is going to take time to see if it works.

Anyone ever hear of this????

Gennessa- I bought my DH a father's day card too. He was so happy!!

I wanted to update everyone on my second beta (my 1st was 235). My nurse said that my numbers should be 963.4 tomorrow and it was 2718 today!! I feel so much better because my mind was starting to play tricks on me since I don't feel much yet. We have a u/s scheduled for June 30th. I can't wait to see what the u/s says!! Good luck to everyone and please keep us updated!

Hi Crogers - What great numbers!!! Its funny how we had our transfer just a day apart but our Dr.s have us on a different schedule. Did you do a 5dt or 3dt?

I have my 1st u/s on 6-18 I cant wait. My numbers were definitly not as high as yours but I still am hoping for two little sacs in there. And I to dont feel any ms yet. Just tired and sore boobs but nothing out of the ordinary.

Congrats again Ill keep you posted on my appt.

DNT - so sorry to hear that. I am praying that everything is ok.

Valen - try not to worry (easier said than done, I know) and enjoy the bed rest. Praying for you too!

Crogers - great number! Maybe more than one?!

I got my DH a card too - actually from the dog, but then wrote also from Baby! My parents came and brought the first baby gifts - bibs that say "I love Grandma" and "I love Grandpa" - do you think they are excited?! I keep saying it's early but they insist - sometimes I think my mom and sister are more excited than I am, because they don't have the constant worry!

RE took me off my estrogen and dexamethasone, but unfortunately decided to keep me on the PIO shots and suppositories - oh well, as long as it's good for the baby, it's worth it (though still not fun)!

I did a 5dt Gennessa. We ended up only having the 2 embryos that survived. They originally got 10 but the other 8 slowly became nonviable.

LB- Glad you were able to be done with you estrogen and dexamethasone. I still have to do my progesterone shots every night. I am pretty sore from them. Oh well only for a little while longer.

LB- I know what you mean about it being too early to get any gifts...but isnt it great that they are so excited!! I told my mom if she feels the need to buy anything she can not bring it to my house. I feel like it will jinx everything. I am very supersticious about silly things.
Crogers- Great numbers. Maybe we'll have another set of twins on this thread!!!
DNT0809 - I am sorry that you have to go through this. I have never heard of that happening before...but I'm not very experienced in the pregnancy department. I'll be thinking of you and the baby. Please keep us posted!
Gennessa- I live about 10 miles north of Boston. It has been a very exciting season and a great time to be a Bostonian! I'm hoping that we can win it all tonight! I cant want to hear the results of your U/S tomorrow. Good luck!
