I just found out that I am due Feb 3rd. So I thought it might be fun to start a new tread for anyone else who is due in Feb or pretty much for anyone that is going through the same thing that I am going through at the same time...a little support group I guess.
Here is where I stand...
I had E/R on 5/13. Transfer on 5/16. Frist Beta at 17 days after ER (5/30) Beta was 566. Second Beta 20 days after ER on 6/2. Beta was 2020. My first U/S was 28 days after ER on 6/10. Two heart beats...111BMP and 109BMP = Twins. Officially 6 weeks and 1 days pregnant today. Due date Feb 3rd. However, was warned that it will most likely be moved up because its twins.
If anyone is close to my schedule I would love to meet and talk to you!
I just found out I am pg as well. We are close in our time frames. I had my e/r on 5/29 with a five day transfer on 6/3. I had seven eggs but only two were good (we put both back) . I had my first blood test yesterday and my LH was 137. I guess this is high but I really have no idea what that means. I go back tomorrow for a second blood test and the beta reads.
I know its a bit early to be excited but after some many negatives its hard when we finally have a positive. But is everything goes right the due date should be mid to late Feb.
I was waiting for the past week for someone to start the Feb 09 thread and here I am.
I am not a regular visitor so I would not be a good host to the thread...
I found out on Memorial Day that I am pg, VERY surprisingly, as they put 3 "non-viable" embies in me on 5/14...But here I am.
I had my 2nd ultrasound today, this time not only a sac could be seen but also a yolk. It is so exciting! Next week I am hoping to see a little heartbeat!
My due date according to the FET would be Feb 1, but since my embie was a slow little fighter at the beginning, they gave me another due date today based on the size of the sac (or the yolk?)- Feb 10, 2009!!!
I have lived with the thought of being pg for over 2 weeks, it didnt quite sink in, and actually I sometimes forget about it... LOL. But any time I remember, it brings a banana smile to my face
Cookinggirl and Gennessa- it is nice to meet you and CONGRATS!!!. Twins? OMG, that's great! I am sure more BFPs are on their way over here.
Maybe you can help me figure out which week I am in right now...??? As I am confused. Do I count from the transfer date (or rather 2 weeks before that) OR is it established by the SIZE of the sac (or yolk?) Any thoughts?
On another note, do you think the chickens are yellow b/c the yolk is yellow? I was just wondering today
Hi Ladies! Thanks for joining this tread. It is so exciting to have someone to talk to that is in the exact same stage as I am.
unexplained infertility - good luck on your U/S tomorrow. Keep us posted. I am not scheduled for my second until 6/25. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow.
Gennessa - As for how far along you are...if they told you that your due date is Feb 10 based upon the size of the baby then you are 5 weeks 1 day today. If you use a regular online due date calculator use May 6th as the date of your last missed period. But the size determines how far along you are. For instance based upon my dates I should be 6 weeks 3 days but based upon the size of the babies I am 6 weeks 1 day along.
Good luck ladies! I am so excited for all of us!
Hi ladies!! I too recently found out the good news. My ET (3 day) was 5/15 and first beta was 2 weeks ago today. I had my first u/s last week and we saw the sac. I go again this Friday and hopefully we will see the heartbeat - I am 6 weeks, and the online calculator I did said due date would be around Feb. 2. My RE has me go in every week for u/s - I guess that is good but it still freaks me out waiting each week.
I don't think it has all fully sunk in - is anyone else paranoid over every twinge they feel or scared something could still happen? I have definitely been having quite a bit of nausea so I hope that is a good sign!
Typing the greeting made me blush since I am so "aged" compared with you all, but since we are having the same schedule and I guess you won't mind that I butt in?!
My brief history is shown in my signature file and if you have more questions, please ask. Here is some additional detail:
on 5/14. 5 frozen embryos (collected on Nov. 2005) were brought to live.
on 5/16, all 5 survived and put back in.
on 5/26, 1st bCG = 101
on 5/28, 2nd bCG = 284
on 5/30, 3rd bCG = 597
on 6/16, will be 1 U.S.
This pg is my second and I am still nervous like a first timer, plus the fact that I am already 45 years old. I am very worried about carrying twins at this age. I won't know until 6/16, which is next Monday.
I usually post on "the over 40 crowd" thread, however, recently that site has been very quiet which is understandable since too many failed ivf cycles that our "aged" people have gone through and my success story alone just not enough to lift the spirit up there. Anyway, I am very happy that you ladies started this site so that I can stop lurking on other sites such as Jan 2009 babies or Dec. 2008 babies.
Well, this is a long introduction from me. thanks for listening!
BTW, do any of you have already morning sickness? I started this Monday, which is not good!

Cookinggirl- I think you mixed me up with Gennessa. I am the retarded one who does not know which week she is in Isnt it weird that I had ET 2 days before you, but I am 5 weeks and 1 day and you are 6 weeks and 1 day...I guess my non-viable embie is on the slow side...
LB- CONGRATS! I was paranoid till the first ultrasound, after that I calmed down. I dont really have any symptoms except for sore boobs. I had cramps in the last 2 weeks but they are gone now. And the sac is growing as i could see today. I cant wait for next week and the heartbeat...
Children- welcome and also congratulations! I am glad you joined us here, we are in the same boat.
I dont have any morning sickness, which I am not sure is good, as it would keep me sane but my nose got very sensitive and I can pick up on a lot of smells now and they all disgust me
Its great to read all the replies. The whole thing on how far along are you is so complicated. I guess i have a while to find out as I only had my first blood test yesterday. I go in tomorrow for the second. I have not had my 1st u/s yet.
Children its a pleasure to have you in the thread and congrats to you.
Ill keep you all posted on my progress and I hope to hear about you as well. I dont have much to share as of yet but I am sure once everything sets in I have so much to ask.
Well, I was going to wait until my first US but was so excited to see you guys here I couldn't help myself. Big Congrats to all of you. I am sure you are like me and feel so lucky and fortunate to be knocked up!
I too am paranoid about something going wrong. So paranoid I took another HPT. How crazy is that?
Unexplained - I am like you, no morning sickness. I too think it might make me feel better just because I would know it was working.
My US is on the 17th and I can't wait to see those sacs.
Again, congrats ladies and I am excited to have some gals to share this with !

Its so exciting to have so many people on this tread already. Its really comforting to know that we are all in it together.
Children- Thanks for making the list. That is great!
kimmysq - I took 1cc of PIO every night.
I am also a little paranoid. I wouldnt say that I have rally experienced morning sickness. I just feel sick to my stomach for a few seconds every once in a while. As long as I have cheerios to pop in my mouth it usually doesnt last long. If you arent experiencing anything yet I wouldnt worry because everyone react diferently. My sister in law actualy has a morning sickness disorder (I cant even say the name let alone spell it). But she is 12 weeks pregnant and has been out of work for 9 weeks because of this disorder. And then there are others who dont ever experience any signs of morning sickness. So try not to worry about it to much.
When I went in for my 1st U/S the nurse made it a point to tell me that there is a 12-18% chance that we could lose one of the twins between now and the next ultrasound so I am very nrvous about that. But I'll stay positive and I'm sure everything will be just fine.
Question for everyone:
What is everyones throughts on when you are going to announce you exciting news? No one knows that my DH and I had IVF so we are knd of unsure as to when we should announce it. Its hard to keep my mouth shut but I know its probably for the best. What are your thoughts?
Children: If you want to put my info on your chart, my first beta was on 5/28 and was 128. My second was 5/30 and was 448. My first u/s was 6/06 and we saw the sac. My second u/s is tomorrow, 6/13, and hopefully we will see a heartbeat! They want me to go in every week, and I will stay with my RE through the first trimester.
Kim - I am on PIO shots (1 cc) and nightly suppositories. The RE mentioned last week that I might be able to stop the shots as of tomorrow, which would mean tonight is my last one - that would be great!!! But if it is helping the baby, I will do what I have to.
Cookinggirl - our immediate families and a few close friends knew we were doing IVF this cycle, so they of course know the result. As for everyone else, we are waiting until after the first trimester, although I have almost slipped so many times! I have my cousin's wedding next weekend, and none of them know, so it will be difficult to explain why I am not drinking!
Hope everyone is doing well! I had a bad day yesterday - no vomiting, just constant nausea. I am definitely not one of those women who "glow" during the pregnancy!!
Hi Kim - Welcome. I am currently on two different types of progesterone - Endometrium 100mg in the Am and Lunch and then a different estrogene/progesterone in the PM. I do not know the name but it has to be kept in frig. The endometrium is not that bad but the night time one is the pits. I hate to be gross but I have to ask do you ladies have a problem with them leaking a lot. I feel like I should take out stock in Maxi Pads.
Anyways I had my sec beta test today and I should here back from them this afternoon. But like unexlpained and Rubylee I have no signs yet. I do not feel tired or have any sickness feeeling yet. But knock on wood it is only the very start for me.
