I've found that this thing is pretty addictive- I mean I want to say something in response to every post!
I've promised myself this'll be the last one for now..
Alison, heres wishing you loads and loads of luck for a BFP- i know the feeling- being superstitious abt every little action..and checking the nether regions everytime.. its good to hear I'm not the only compulsive checker here!
I guess we'll all sleep like babies after our test dates!
this 2ww is driving me up the wall!
Good luck to all of us!

Thanks Heather and Nicki for the insomnia tips. Its reminded me that DH has Bill Clinton's autobiography somewhere which is also apparently a very dull read, so I might look that out to keep handy!

Hi Smita and welcome to the site. Glad to hear I'm not the only one suffering from paranoia/supersitition!

Alison

PS By the way, I did go for a pizza and had a really good time - actually took my mind of things for a bit and managed to restrain myself to just one loo visit while I was out!

Welcome Shara ... You're in good company over here !

Alison ... I wish I'd known you were around early yesterday morning. I was awake from 3.30 am, and up around 4.30 am too !! It's not good is it ?!? Especially when you are knackered really, but just can't do the sleeping thing.. Hope you managed a better rest last night.

How are you JuJu Jelly Babies getting on?

I hope that you are all coping with your various stages of this waiting period - I know it's hard but if you feel like getting some frustration out, just come and chat.

Thinking of you all, take care and big hugs

Ha! Understatement! Going out of one's mind does not quite describe this-
Not allowed to step out the house thanks to the doctors orders.. its so frustrating- I'm staying at my mothers place for the course of the treatment- Its wonderful being cared for and stuff but also so suffocating!
(Talk abt complaining! One has it all and still one complains)

I was telling dh this morning(he's in Bahrain, me in Bangalore(India))that if only i knew the result, then this waiting wouldnt seem so frustrating..

Its just that there seems to be so much happening outside, and I can only watch from inside the house..and only have the net as my salvation- even hate watching tv..
Plus agonising over aches and twinges doesnt help..
Aaaarrgghhhh!! what a crib fest! But I needed to do that!
This forum is God's gift to me..
Thanks for reading thru this..
Hey aside of cribbing, how do you all get those real cute images that show up beneath your msgs?

Just a very quickie to say that I spoke to soon yesterday. Blood test came back at 17 - low positive - when they are looking for it to be at least 25. It can go either way, but I've been here before (twice) and know which way its always gone. Can't describe quite how gutted I'm feeling.

Hi Alison
Just to say how sorry I am you didn't get a better result, I have also been there 3 times and know how hard it is as it just prolongs things. Did they give you any hope? I always have levels below 10, when do you test again?
Big hugs for you and DP right now.
