Hi all!

Wow...you all have to much time on your hands!!! I feel so bad as I keep disappearing and when I come back there is pages to catch up on!

I am way too tired to do personals...I know excuses excuses! but I will say Hi to Xrayem, good to hear from you and welcome..

Well what a day my poor DH has had a sickness and diarroha bug and he got up at 6am to get some water and he walked out of our bedroom straight into a living room full of diarrohea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all over our new beige carpets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and no he hadn't been sleep walking previously it was our poor mastiff, she was found cowering and shaking in the nursery on top of a giant box (all 8 stone of her!) that contained pictures and baby things, she even sh*t on the hoover!!! we have had to scrub walls and carpets all morning, we had to go to town to buy a £300 carpet cleaner and are waiting for them to dry to see if we have to replace them, it is sooooo bad all I can do is laugh the poor little baby is so poorly it's heart rendering and gut wrenching all at the same time!

We did find time to nip into a baby shop and buy a travel system and crib which I am pleased about as I had to cancel my day out in London at the baby show incase I got the bug to and was ill there, its a 2 hour drive from me so wasn't worth the risk! I got the icandy pram with the maxi cosi car seat but I dont think many of you have the pleasure of being British  so probably haven't a clue what I am chatting about! :D Right I am off to see what else I can salvage from my sh*t pit of a nursery, say a little prayer for me.........

Oh Angelica, you made me laugh!! You poor thing....what a mess....I guess it's going to make a baby look easy, huh? good luck salvaging what you can, and I hope you don't catch the bug.

Em--It will be interesting to see who delivers first! I hope to hold mine in as long as possible. I am on a progestrone shot once a week to avoid preterm labor. Don't know if it will work or not...

Colleen--We're going for the Graco snug ride. As for a convertible car seat, I have no idea yet...You made me laugh about the feet comment. I guess I should be happy I can see my feet still, huh?

Tasha--I have no idea how I sent my post twice....I'll try not to do that again!

I did go shopping today...unfortunately, I didn't have as much luck as you gals. I don't have a Carter's store in my area, so I went to BAbies R Us, Old Navy, and the Motherhood store. I wanted to get the babes some little sleepers and me some cute spring wear. I think I"m at an "inbetween" size right now, so nothing was really fitting. I"ll go back when I'm on spring vacation in April and maybe I'll have more luck.

Have a great weekend gals!

Hi all,
Hope you've all enjoyed the weekend.

Angellica- you make it sound so funny! Bet you weren't laughing at first though. Hope you managed to clean up ok and that DH is better. Take care

Em- Welcome to thread and congrats on Twins!

Rachel- How are you? Is the cold and asthma better? Did you make the camping. Hope you have been able to enjoy some of the weekend

Tasha- Was your weekend as relaxed as planned? Hope you are taking it easy!

Coleen- Great news about your GTT results. You can relax now and keep eating that cake!!

Kim- so pleased to hear your pain has gone at last. Hope thats it for you now. Fingers crossed.

I've had a really good weekend. Managed to spend some good family time together and DD has been in a great mood which helps! Although she was up for 1 1/2 hours last night!
Also managed to start clearing out our spare room which DD is going to move into and needs decorating. Feels good though to have had a major clear out.
Also still definately feeling little one kick now. Didn't feel anything with DD until about 22 weeks.
Really enjoy reading all your posts about what you are buying for your babies. Feels a bit strange this time as we don't really need buy anything. It's nice though to know we'll be using all those things we purchased first time around.

Better go get ready for bed. Need some good sleep tonight!

hi there girls.... hope that everyone had a nice weekend... both my DSs are in bed... really early, as we got to play outside and the fresh air kicked their butt...so now mommy gets to relax and chill... just hope that they are not up several times durning the night...
other then that we are doing good... had my cousins baby shower on saturday, and that was nice... a long drive, but nice... then we played outside as today was so so nice and in the 50s... we did manage to pick out a carseat (well i think) we didn't buy it because i forgot the coupon of $10.00... so i think that i'm going to stop on wednesday after our US..

casy- glad to hear that you started to clean things out..... it's nice to have that stage done... planning on decorating DD's room anything special? we are still trying to figure out what to do... my sons want to share a room, and leave the toy room as such, but i'm not sure if that's a good idea.. otherwise we are finding a place for all the toys.... yeikes!!! glad that you are feeling your little one, i love the feeling, although the kicks are getting harder and harder....

Kim- i do like the graco, and it was really good in the crash tests... but it doesn't fit on our current stroller and then we would have to but the travel system... even tho our stoller is really good and works well... it's just a pain that the car seat expired... hope that shopping gets better next time... i think that it;s hit or miss most of the time... too bad about no carters... i love that place...

oh angellica- you poor thing... it was probable awefull... i hope that you had some luck on getting the stuff out.... i'm glad that you got your travel system.... you are right, i have no clue, but sounds great   ... i hope that you do not get sick, and becareful picking up all the sh*t, they say that it can have diasese to make you sick... hope that it's all better

em-wow... you and kim have the twins and are not finding out the sex.... you both are so brave, that is so cool..... we here are waiting for the snow to melt... we've had a few days of warmth, and are starting to see the brown grasses under the snow cover... it will be awhile before anything starts to green or bud... have fun getting the room put together...

well i hope that everyone is well, and had a great weekend!!

Hi gals...I was just checking in! Sounds like all's well....

I almost forgot...Em--I'm so excited that you're not finding out the babies' sexes either! People think I'm crazy for not finding out, since they'll be two....but I think it's been fun to make everyone wait! I guess I'm just a schemer that way! Don't you even think of cheating!

Good night gals!

Good Morning Girls!

I do not have time to catch up on everyone right now, but I am still alive. I did not get to go camping and have spent the weekend battling my asthma and a very bad cold. I have an appointment tomorrow with my asthma dr because I am continuing to decline.

As for the comment of not ever being healthy, this appears to be true. Normally I get spurts of it, but this pregnancy has been really hard on me. I am praying that this is the lasst round because on Thursday my OB will be really mad at me. I have lost another 3 lbs over the weekend because I cannot swallow again. So I am going to get back to my huge milkshake and work and try to forget I am sick!

Have a great day girls!

HI LADIES JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE IS GOING THROUGH THIS ( OR WENT THROUGH THIS).....I JUST HAD MY 2ND ULTRA SOUND AND THE BABY HAS A HEARTBEAT BUT IT'S NOT GROWING MUCH. MY HCG IS STILL GOING UP SLOW, AND I SHOULD BE 9 WEEKS ALONG, BUT THE ULTRA SOUND IS ONLY SHOWING 6 WEEKS.....THE DR. SAID IT'S STILL OK BECAUSE THERE'S A HEARTBEAT, BUT THAT IS ALL HE SAID. ANYONE ELSE HAVE A SLOW STARTER AND THEN HAVING BETTER ULTRA SOUNDS DOWN THE ROAD? I THOUGHT I ONLY HAD 3 MORE WEEKS TO GO BEFORE THE 12 WEEK MARK.....AND NOW IT LOOKS LIKE I'M ONLY 1/2 WAY THERE NOW.

Hello Everyone....

Angellica- I'm so sorry to hear about your major mess this past weekend... hopefully you got it allcleaned up and it didn't ruin the carpet.

Kim- sorry shopping didn't go as well for you this past weekend... I'm sure you'll find some nice stuff as it starts to warm up.

Casy- yes my weekend was very relaxing... just like I was hoping for. Plus the weather was great so I enjoyed myself completely.

Colleen- yes our weather was wonderful... I enjoyed myself so much! I even slept in both days..... They are saying close to 70's tomorrow (capris here I come).

Racheal- sorry to hear you didn't make it camping this past weekend... and that your asthma isn't doing well. I feel so bad for you... you poor thing. Hopefully your asthma doctor can do something for you. Please keep us posted.

As for us we're doing good... I had my glucose test this morning (actually not bad at all - I kind of liked the orange drink... call me crazy). This weekend was wonderful... great weather, no plans plus tons of relaxation. I got a much needed pedicure and DH & I even went for a few walks.... We have our 2nd night of childbirth class tonight... I wonder what we'll leanr tonight. Well I hope you all have a great day...

Tasha--OOOhh, I'm so jealous of the pedicure! I normally go to this very inexpensive nail place by my house, but the fumes there are sooo strong. I haven't gone all pregnancy because I didn't want to breathe nasty stuff. But, now that the weather's better, I might have to spring for a pricier place without all the fumes. I'm itching to get pretty feet while I can see 'em!

Racheal--Feel better honey. Are you on any medication for your asthma? I'm on singulair (I'd rather not take any drugs, but my doc insisted...). I seem to be doing fine. I know everyone's different. I just feel bad for you. Enjoy the milkshake for me! I have to watch the pounds, so I'll give you my extras and maybe the docs will be happy with both of us!

wisconsingal--I'm sorry about your U/S. That didn't happen to me, but I think I remember some of the gals saying that the baby can measure small if the embryo didn't implant right away. I"m not sure if it would measure 3 weeks behind, though. If your doctors not worried, then he must feel everything's okay. Just keep a positive attitude and stay strong. Your baby needs you right now. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

xrayem--I'm a bit of a control freak too! Maybe that's why I'm being so persistent? I just love to make them wonder....

Have a great night gals! I hope you're having the beautiful weather we are!

oh my goodness. i have missed so much, i must try and check in more. It is a real battle to get on our computor 4 adults all wanting to use it at the same time!!
Welcome to Xrayem, i'm sure i remember you from other threads. I love Australia and spent a year working and travelling, we looked into emigrating there but ended up coming to Spain instead. Congratulations on your twins.
Cmoscar so sorry to hear that you are not well, i hope that you can get your asthma under control, it must be a very scary illness to have.
Everyone seems to be doing lots of shopping. I have seen a pram that i want it is a Jane slalem pro it has a car seat that you can use as a carrycot with the pram. I am having problems finding it in Spain though and can get on ebay but postage from uk will be so much.
Yucky Angellica i think i would be throwing up having to clean up all that shit. I love mastiffs we were going to get one but once we got our positive result we have decided to wait until little one is about 2 or 3 first, i think our 2 cats are going to be hard enough to cope with.
I have my 20 week scan tomorrow and am both nervous and excited because i will be seeing her again but not sure if they will find anything abnormal. I have been remaining postive though and my tummy is growing almost daily, i am now feeling her move and DP felt her last weekend, he was so excited bless him i can't wait for her to give him a big kick.
Happy shopping everyone and i hope that those who have appointments all goes well.
take care

Happy Tuesday Girls....

Ellie- good luck at your scan today. I can't wait to hear how she's doing... please keep us posted when you can.

As for us we had our second class last night... we learned all about contractions & pre-term labor. We also did more breathing... that part of class is so relaxing (I almost didn't want to get up this morning). However, I got excited when I heard it was going to be in the 70's here today.... I've got my capris & flip flops on.... but I also woke up this morning w/ a sore throat so I've got my OJ & Cough Drops... hopefully they will do the trick.

Hope everyone has a great day...

Good Morning!

Ellie - I have everything crossed for your today. Keep us posted!

Tasha - I hope your OJ and cough drops do the trick. I hate being sick because I always get really sick.

Kim - Singular has been a mircale worker for my son, but when I was on it previously, I got sick frequently and was taken off the med. I now take Pulmicort and Rincort to help prevent problems. For the most part they work good, but I have severe alleergies and when they hit, my immune system takes a massive hit and I get sick 9 out of 10 times. When I am not pregnant I take Allegra 180 and I have done great with that. The Allegra seems to keep everything in check, but it is recommended for pregnancy.

I had a very good night's sleep last night for the first time in 5 days. It seems my asthma and allergies are starting to subside and I might get out of getting a full blown infection this time. I am still being careful and staying indoors and such, but I am itching to paint more in Makayla's room. I think I have uncovered a plot by DH and some of the other cub scout leaders. I think they are planning on throwing me a baby shower. I told DH not too because some people think it is inappropriate for someone with more than one child. DH said he didn't know what I was talking about. I guess I will have to wait and see. This weekend is suposed to be beautiful and I hope to get some time outside with the boys. Hope everyone is well!

hi you all... hope that everyone is doing great!!!

rachael- i hope that you are on the up swing of being sick... i so wish that you could enjoy this pregnancy completely without being sick.. hip hip huray for the good nights sleep, i think that a good sleep helps the body to recover... enjoy the shower, if you get one... it will be your first shower, so that's ok... enjoy!! enjoy the weekend... we are in the 60's now and we were outside and the kids were riding bike (first time since fall) so it was fun... the fresh air also makes them sleep better ( well other then last night my 3 YO had a melt down and did not get to sleep until after 11:00... normal bedtime is 8:00...

tasha-i've got my capris and sandals on... love the weather!! too bad i saw more snow later this week.. hope that the sore throat was just the great weather and the OJ drops does the trick!! glad that the class is going well... we'll be at the hospital tomorrow for our US and my girlfriend had her baby this morning, so we'll get to see her little guy... have you gotten your GTT results back?? or will they just call if there was a problem?? you really liked it?? i almost feel like i'm going to throw up after i drink it... good for you

ellie- good luck on the scan, and let us know how it went.... soon enough you'll be getting those big kicks and letting you know she's there... good luck on getting the carseat and stuff....

kim- hope that you get your pedicure soon... i'm not one for pedicures, as i really do not like my feet being touched, nor do i really like touching other peoples feet... i've got a weird thing about that... i'll do my own feet, as long as i can reach them... so far so good....

as for us... we are ok... waiting for the US tomorrow. and i get to go see my girlfriends son at the same time... she's at the same hospital.. she was in labor for close to 30 hours and ended up with a section because she never got past 9cm... so they are really tired, but baby and mom are doing well...
we are enjoying this great warm weather and getting some much needed fresh air, after what seemed to be a long winter..

hope that everyone takes care of themselves

Racheal- I hope that your on thew upswing on your cold/asthma/etc. A good nights sleep is usually a pretty good sign things are working there way out. Take care...

Colleen- Well now it looks like they cancelled the snow, but we are supposed to drop back down to the 40's... but sunny. I'm sure that's why I'm sick... the sudden weather change! Well Quest told me they will send the results to my doctors office and my doctor will call me if their is bad news... however, I might try and call them later this afternoon and find out. I'm kind of anxious...

Well is this day over with yet or what??? I just wish I could breath.... it stinks bring sick while being pregnant. I would normally take some allegra and be good, but that won't be happening for some time still.

Hope your all having a great day!

Tasha
