Nope.. Not a new house. Just wanting to redo somethings to it. It was my husbands before we got married and I'm de-bachelorizing it LOL! Which as we all know.. takes FOREVER!

RunnerKate - sorry to hear you had a bad time with follistim. I will be started that hopefully next week and am a bit scared now! I haven't had much trouble with the lupron shots so far - have been taking them myself except for one day when I totally panicked and couldn't poke myself and had to ask DH to give the shot! I am now officially in the "waiting for AF" category!

Lot of you have mentioned some bloodwork before starting stims? What blood tests are they doing? I know I have an ultrasound but haven't been told of any bloodwork.

IrishHope - Hope AF comes soon! hang in there!

Good luck to everyone already on the stims. Hoping to join that group soon!

Somehow with all these shots I am able to deal with the IVF cycle better than I did with the IUIs - it gives me a feeling that I am actually doing something rather than just waiting for things to happen!

Hi everyone. Happy Friday!
I started my Gonal F shots last night. Anyone want to give me some in site as to how I should/could feel because of the Gonal F? I wish all my shots where like the Gonal F. The needle is so small that its almost kind of cute.
Anyway, thanks for the feedback!
Have a great weekend!

Just Jenis, I have been REALLY sleepy...8-9 hours a night! But, I can't seem to FALL asleep. I just lie there for about 2 hours and eventually go to sleep, but then can't get up in the morning.

The Lupron shot is fine...you just have to find the places where it doesn't hurt. I find that I do better on the sides of my tummy rather than right under the belly button.

Kate.. that's me exactly!! I'm tired.. till I lay down then I just lay there exhausted. Normally I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. During the day I have absolutely no energy.

Going back in tomorrow for another ultrasound and I'm to start my Gonal F and Menopur tomorrow as well. Nervous and excited at the same time. I just hope I do it right. I don't even care if it hurts LOL! How sad is that?

Looks like alot of us are in the same boat! yaaahhh partners in crime

*hugs*

went to post office to pick up mail and package. Low and behold there was a letter from my insurance company saying that they approved me for my cycle to be completed by April 1. I knew that I wouldn't necessarily need that test that my nurse said I needed. I called the clinic to tell them that I did get the letter that I am approved (called when I got home from work--after they were closed), but left a message basically saying that I was approved and wanted to get the cycle done w/ next period (should be here over the week-end) due to my insurance issues. I think if we do it for Feb., it won't be a problem since I am pretty sure that DH will give his work 2 weeks notice. If he can stick around there until the end of Feb. and the let me do the cycle in Feb instead of March--all will be right in the world. Usually they send med via UPS but since I might get my period will run over to pick them up now before they close.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I will be able to start/end cycle within the next couple of weeks!!

Kara- I am so happy that your insurance approved this cycle. What awesome news!!!

Jenis- DH and I are looking at tile as well- redoing the upstairs bathroom.
I was wondering are you familiar with RMA. I am a Jersey girl as well.

Irishhope- I hope AF comes at a time most convenient for you since the clinic is closed over the weekend.

Corny- great to hear that you are one step closer to ER

For all you ladies who are stimming. My friend said she felt like her ovaries felt huge. Is this the same as the bloating you all have described?

Our class is 2/12 and the shots start 2/13.

I can't wait for all of our BFPs to start posting!!!
