Hey ladies!

BabiesGalore: That is fantastic, don't be worried about your U/S so early. At my clinic they will do one when your beta is over 1000, so sounds about right to me. Good luck, you are so fortunate to see that little bean!

Smattison: Congratulations on the twins!!! Are you having any pg symptons yet?

amfmbaby: I am amazed by your journey! I cannot believe the nurse practitioner did your ET I suppose it was probably the only option with the doc out on emergency. I am sure they would not allow her to do this if they did not have the most confidence in her. I too would be concerned without U/S guide, it funny after my RE was done with the transfer he said, "can you imagine the times we used to do this without U/S?" I do think maybe the clinic is a little out dated but that doesn't mean you won't get that BFP! They have to be doing somethings right to continue to operate! You asked about my meds: I am taking 2mg estrace three times a day and 50mg (1ml) PIO twice a day, I am also on heparin 1600u twice a day!

Harleyloo: I saw you commented under my post of the crazy 2WW! I am right there with ya. I just cannot wait until Thursday! I am reading into every little thing my body is doing. I keep trying to tell myself it is just the hormones I am taking, but it is definately different than my fresh cycle. We will know soon, but not soon enought:)

Our board has slowed this week, we need a stats update as to what is going on!!

Love, Luck and Babydust!

BG, I agree, I'm sure it's just a routing u/s...that's exciting!

I am doing really well. I think Sprout and I have very similar attitudes toward our BFNs (except I'm not in a new cycle and probably won't be for awhile). God has given me a real peace with everything and I am just enjoying my kiddos right now. Thanks for asking!

Hello,

I'm finally back. Beta turned out to be a BFN as expected for IVF#2 on 10/17. I was really down and out as you can imagine, but had a fun weekend with the friends once I finally got myself up and going.

We've got 5 more tries under this SR prgm, but we're debating taking a month off before IVF#3, since I've heard/read it has helped some ppl get a BFP from doing so, but figure at the least it can't hurt. Also, I'm starting a new job next week and want to be settled and know what to expect before I jump into another round...

Congrats to all the BFP's this month:)

Bubbles - I am soooo sorry about your BFN. It sounds like you are doing what you need and taking time for yourself and DH. Kudos to you!

Taking a month sounds like a good idea - especially if you are just starting a new job. And if you take a month off - perhaps we'll cycle together again! I should be stimmng end of November/early December. I go in Friday to learn more about the new protocol.

babyluv - You sound WONDERFUL! I love to hear when people have such PMA and can enjoy the amazing life they have. It is never easy to get the BFN and OBVIOUSLY we all want to bring more amazing life into this world - but I have to believe that things could be worse for all of us (I know, cliche). It is hard to take the time to remember everything we have going for us - and I commend you and your PMA.

Harleyhoo and amfmbaby - How are you two holding up? How many days now????

Hi all,

Sprouthaus, I have 5 more days of the 2ww.. and I can hardly take it!

jcurlygirl - i totally know what you are saying about trying to blame the meds.. I have been telling myself the very same thing! Right now, I am 4dp5dt.. and i don't know if i could conceivably have any symptoms at this point in time yet! this is a first for me.. so, i have no idea WHAT to expect! I can tell you that I am really tired.. ALL OF THE TIME. I went to bed at like 9p last night.. and that is VERY early for me. I can also tell you that i am having some of the strangest dreams.. my brain is so active.. that I wake up and feel like they were real. its nuts. I had cramping and back pain earlier this week.. but, that seems to have subsided. What about you? do you share in any of these symptoms?

amfmbaby - how are you holding up??

Morning ladies!

Harley: The only symptom I share with you is the cramping and back pain, which is the same as when I get AF. Here is a list of my symptoms to date:

1dp6dt pinching in right side/sm brown spotting when wiping (sorry for the TMI), nips sore
2dp6dt same as previous day except now on left side too, wierd pain in pelvic bone area short lived
3dp6dt no more pinching or spotting, now on/off cramping, nips sore, weird shooting pain on/off in BBs
4dp6dt more on/off cramping, back pain starting, feeling like if I don't eat my stomach will digest itself, slight headache, nips sore, weird shooting pain on/off in BBs
5dp6dt continuous lower back pain and bad on/off cramping (like AF), still feel as though I need to eat or die, lol! nips sore, weird shooting pain on/off in BBs
6dp6dt continuous lower back pain and not so bad continuous cramping, nips sore, weird shooting pain on/off in BBs
7dp6dt same as yesterday but woke up feeling as though I was going to vomit, held it off but horrible bout of nausea for an hour!

Sorry so indepth but I have been meaning to write down my symptoms for a while. I am not tired yet maybe because I have been sleeping for like 10-12 hours at a time :P

Bubbles: Sorry for your BFN you do have great PMA!! I would suggest taking at least a month off especially if you are starting a new job. I took 4 months off since my last IVF cycle that resulted in a chemical pg. Good luck to you!

Babyluv & Sprouthaus: Glad to hear you too are doing well, good luck in the future.

Love, Luck and Babydust to all!

Bubbles I am so sorry about the BFN. I am happy to see you have family and friends that can help lift your spirits. The decision to take a month off especially with a new job seems like the best idea, and it will give you the mind to focus on what needs to be done. Hopefully you will be all settled in when it comes time to start another cycle. Sending you the best wishes.

I know in a time like this it is hard to have a PMA and it gets worse as the days go by I have 2days left of crazy 2ww and I feel far from lucky this go around. I have none of the symptoms I had days ago they are all gone and with estrogen and PIO levels dropping at my bwu appts it coincides with how I feel I just want the bfn and get it over with poas this morning negative again Thanks to the hormones I know cry at the drop of a pin.
I can say that DH and I have discussed where to go next to be prepared we will wait a month before trying again. I feel as though GOD will make it happen when he feels he has picked the right one for us. I do know no matter my outcome I will be sticking around to cheer all of you on and to give support you all have guided me through my cycle from every aspect my shots, my fears, my attitude, and have answered all of my millions of questions. I cant think of any other bunch I would rather be with. Thank you all so much.

I am secretly keeping my fingers crossed. Just wished my labs showed better.

jcurlygirl and harleyloo hang in there time is almost up and I have good vibes about you 2 stay positive don't read to much into me today I will probably change 10 thousand more times today on how I feel

BG good luck with upcoming u/s I am sure it will turn out to be great.

Sprout and babyluv you to are definitely amazing if I said once I couldn't say it enough I love your PMA

smattison where are you? I hope all is well and you enjoying your little growing pumpkins.

hi -

jcurlygirl - you are amazing that you remembered all of those little things.. when i read some of your posts.. i remembered a few things that have happened with me - for some reason, i get this weird grumbling noise from my lower abdomen.. but, not like hunger pains.. just strange grumbling. that happened 1 - 2dp3dt. then i had cramps.. back pain.. OH! and i totally forgot about the sore BB's. they are so tender, when I went to put my messenger bag across my chest, this morning, leaving for work... i cringed! the exhaustion is another story.. i have been sleeping about the same as you 10-12.. and normally i am a 6 hr/night sleeper.. so, this is quite extreme. anyway, i am praying for you to receiving that BFP!!!

amfmbaby - i am really sorry to hear that you aren't feeling the way you did in the past.. but, remember - every pregnancy is different.. and try to keep positive. you would be amazed at how powerful a PMA is.. i truly hope that your beta proves you wrong.. and you get a BFP out of this!
Keep your chin up.. you only have 2 more days... i will be praying and thinking about you..

Bubbles - I am sorry to hear about your news. I think that it is wise to take the month, settle into your new job (you know how distracted we can become while going through this process) and then step into another cycle with a clear head. I admire your ability to stay positive in this difficult time. You are in my thoughts.

HI GANG! Just thought I'd log on and say hello to everyone still in 2ww - good luck guys - bring us BFPs!!!!!!!! I love reading your posts about all of your symptoms - I was doing the same thing when I was in 2ww. Keep up the PMA girls :!:

Renee - we should start a diet & exercise thread  - I could lose 10-15 pounds too and totally agree with you - I should do everything I can to prepare for this next cycle. :!: Actually, I just found out my HDL (good cholesterol) is low (although all of my other numbers are GREAT!) and I was told exercise is the only thing I can do to improve this....more reasons to get started!

I think smattison is on the board less and less these days - so I'll try to figure out how to post an updated status list.

xoxo
