Hello all!! On here late, getting ready to get into my jammies and go to bed. Had three days off an now have to go back work tomorrow and Tue and then Wed morning I go for my Day 12 scan. Grow follies grow.

Just got back from seeing the movie Cloverfield. It was pretty good. How quickly to movies make it over to the other side of the pond? Before us or after us?

Hope everyone is doing well.

It's cuz you might poke the baby's eye out hahaha Image

Hope644 wrote:OK, I'm really starting to get antsy now... I have been reading around the internet (bad girl, bad!!) and found that "depending on your cycle, menstrual period should return in about 3-6 weeks" - after D&C.

Umm... 6 weeks was FRIDAY. It's time to get this SHOW ON THE ROAD!! Help?!!? ugh.
I was told 4-8weeks. I got mine 6w and 1 day from the D&C. My numbers took a little longer than 2 weeks to drop...I had a test at like 2 w 1 day and it was at 14. Then my next test wasn't until 3 weeks at which point it was 4 so it had to have come down between the 2 dates at that point. I was told it would be 4 weeks from when your # drops to "zero" which they deem under 5.

Did you have your #s monitored? I honestly didn't get pms symptoms before the 1st AF, she just started and actually with a gush, not typical trickle in haha. Here's a jig for ya! Let's get this party started!!! Maybe we will be cycle buddies...what is your game plan?

steph -- not sure if i'll be back around tonight after your work --- am KNACKERED!!!!! will try my best....you got tomorrow off?????? any sign of AF yet????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? how many vials of swimmers you got left anyway??? have said it before - but i am SO glad i don't work retail hours!!!!!!!!! the thought of working sat/sun seriously makes me ill!!!
yes I LOVE hell!!!
I have 2 vials of this guy left. If it doesn't work after that (HAHA it WILL I KNOW!) then I will switch donors. They like to give em 3-4 tries. I am gonna give him 5...hell try #2 WORKED and when I did #1 I felt I didn't give it the proper chance with a short luteal phase IF I did conceive. So after the D&C techinically I'd have 3 tries..and we all know this one was a flop cuz I screwed it up. Sooooo 2 more good chances but I'm telling myself it WILL work on cycle #4 and then I will have another vial to maybe try for a sibiling some day??? Who knows!

One moment I feel like AF is on her way, yesterday I was feeling bloaty 'down there' which is usually a good sign. But today I'm not feeling it! Then I also have notice my CM (sorry tmi) is AF-is-on-the-way like, and it has been said that typically she will show 14 days after O'ing and if that 2nd tie WAS my O then tomorrow is 14 days...so I'm PRAYING she gets her arse here in the next 24 hrs!!!

I'm gonna go out to lunch and a movie with a friend tomorrow so I won't be around in the middle of the day, but yup I'm off so you will be stuck with me other than that!!!

Everything crossed for ya and your numbers tomorrow, I know it will be fine!
Hugs!
Steph

Hope644 wrote: Good luck tomorrow on your first day at work!! Don't let 'em take your stapler. Image

AHAHAHA HOPE I FRIGGEN LOVE THAT!!!! We ALWAYS say that at work...did did di you take my red stapler...cuz the front store is ALWAYS stealing our damn staplers!!! You ever try to keep shit in bags and attach the pamphlet to the bag using just your spit???

Right now my treatment is simply get AF, take clomid days 5-9 (well it is supposed to be), then poas til I get a + on my surge which will indicate I am gonna O with in about 24 hrs, I call em before 10:30 the morn of my surge and they schedule my iui the next morn, then I hurry up and bug the crap outta you guys for 2 weeks! I try to do it this way to keep my costs down (procedure is about $350, then the vial of swimmer is like $350...I forgot cuz those were purchased previously). If I do a monitored cycle with U/S then it will cost more, but not sure how much..I will call and talk to them tomorrow about it. I just want to do it as cheaply as possible, but I don't know if you can say wasting time trying to figure out when you O is cost effective if you miss it right! Will have to think bout it!

Pequele: Yup, poking th baby's eye out is one concern to keep in mind
Stephjim: GROW FOLLIES GROW!! I go in on Tuesday for my 8 day scan :)
Hope: Sorry I left you. I took Gonal f last time but along with Menegon, which I don't think is used in the states. This time I am just on Lupron and Gonal - very easy! I can't wait to see their sizes :) Ok Hope, I guess this 6 week mark calls for an extra special presidential AF jig.Image
ICSI: umm are you serious? I mean I look pretty close to her, but I am waaaay prettier  You can check me out on facebook.
Nimble thanks for the advice. I will try and keep dh off of me for as long as possible!

Well tonight we had some friends over, an older couple who we hadn't seen in a while. We called them today and invited them for dinner. SO five minutes after the arrive they have big smailes and say so what is the news? What announcement do you want to make, and I'm like what?It took a while to convince them that we had nothing to announce. Turns out they were positive we were going to tell them we were pregnant. At first I was a little upset but then thought this is another sign that this will work

Steph - Glad you're home from hell! Do you have the holiday off tomorrow??

4-8 weeks?? Ok, well, I guess I'm still in the "normal" range. I actually found another site, later that said something like that too. You're makin' me feel better. Today's just 6w 2d.

I did have my #s monitored. They were:
1w after D&C (12/14) - 500 (which was lower than my initial beta - they were thinking by the time I had the D&C it was probably close to 10K, so that was a good drop)
2w after (12/21) - 46.3 (point 3?? is that weird or what?)
3w5d after (1/2) - NEGATIVE - since I had that extra 5 days, I'm guessing it happened sometime before too. SOOO, I guess I'm still a few days, maybe a week til 4 weeks after zero.

So a big gush, eh?? UGH. Lovely. Can't wait. Did you have weird tingles and crampy-like feelings? It's bizarre. One min I think it's going to start immediately and then nothing for hours.

MAYBE I'll get to cycle with ya - but are you going to start meds right away as soon as AF arrives, like this week? Or do you wait another cycle? For me, I THINK I'll be starting BCPs for 3 weeks when this AF starts and then another 2 weeks of tmt before ER/ET. You may already have a BFP before I can even get going!!

So, about this donor... I'm totally curious! How does that work?? Do you select features? What do you get to know about him? (other than the fact that he's the guy from Friday Night Lights!! :) ) Tell us more about donor-daddy... please??
